Chapter 43:
She looked at her with utter disgust…. Her so called Didi looked so nice and sweet from outside … giving her yonger brother so much love and respect that she addresses him as bhaiya and not by his name…but she is very poisonous from inside… this is her true nature… all this was done only because of money… only because of inheritance of the property… how can someone get so greedy and stoop so low as killing your own brother… Bani finally got her answer to all her question… since the culprit itself as admitted her crime…there is no need for any proof… she just have to let the whole family especially her husband of their so called Didi's loving nature… without saying anything else she looked at the figure that was sitting on the floor and crying her heart out… Bani's couldn't pin point why she was crying… but then again isn't it obvious that you'll cry over your failure… cry over your spoilt plan… giving her another look she just left the room….
Jigs was not aware that … Bani has left the room…
Jigs: Bani please listen to me… I used to hate him… and there is a reason for it too… I misunderstood by brother in many different ways… which lead to increase in my hatered for Jai … Bani tum jaisa samaj this ho waisa nahin hai… meri baat pe yakeenkaro Bani… she looked up… but where is Bani … she's not in the room… she misunderstood her and left the place… now what is she suppose to do… she broke down crying once again….
After a long day of work ... Jai stepped in the house... he didn't know why but the house looked unusually quiet... then he remembered Masi and Dadi went out on some pooja... and good for nothing Anu is probably trying to make sense out of non-sense in her bedroom...but where was his darling wife… hhmmm... smiling a little on his thought he proceeded towards his bedroom...
Jai went in and saw the cupboard was open probably Bani's putting clothes in the cupboard... thinking that he made his way towards her... he stand behind her... but his mouth dropped as he saw her standing there in a white towel taking out a dress to wear...
Bani turned and looked at Jai... both were looking at each other... Bani knew she is stuck in a very bad situation ... as her hubby dear is always looking for such opportunities.... Bani diverted her gaze a little and looked at the space at her side... Jai followed her gaze and he knew she was looking for a idea how to escape from there.... he smiled a little and looked at her saying... Bani... no you don't....don't even think....
…..Bani looked at the space again…and gave him a pleading look …a look saying please let me go… Jai understood her pleading… and nod his head in a negative way… he let out a soft grin as irritation was very evident in Bani's face… she just turned away and looked into the cupboard… and stated searching for her matching dupatta … because which she's in this situation… if it wasn't for this dupatta she wouldn't have been here…and Jai wouldn't have caught her in such awkward situation… well for her it is … but for him…it was one of the most beautiful sight he has been…
Jai: Bani…if ur thinking this is one of the most beautiful and mesmerizing sight I have seen…then ur absolutely right…
Bani turned around as she answered him in a shock manner … 'Aap ko kaise pata chala mein yeahi soch rein thi'
Jai: Aare sweetheart aap hamari biwi hai…pati hai hum aapke…. pata tu chalnai tha … kyun…he said hugging her…
'Jai…please choro na… koi aa jayen ga…'
'Koi nahin aayenga'…
'Koi dekh lega'….
'Koi nahin dekhe ga'….
Bani clutched her towel tightly as his grip around her waist become tighter…
Jai: Bani ek baat batao…itum aisa kyun kar rein ho towel ke saath…ish towel mein aisa kya hai…jo humne nahin dekha…
Bani: Jai…chup…bilkul chup…kitne besharam ho aap…Anu thik kehti hai….
Jai: hamari beech mein yeh Anu kahan se aan gayen… waise…you're looking very…. Bani didn't let him finish his sentence…as she placed her hand over his mouth….
Bani: don't complete the sentence…. I know something fishy will come out of ur mouth… I know you too well Mr. Jai Walia …..aur waise bhi aap key eh ankhon ne mujhe bohot kuch bata diya hai….ke main kaisie dekh rein hoon….so no need to trouble your mouth to form the words….
He just smiled at her…. Acknowledging the fact… how well his wife understands him… they don't need words to express themselves…
Jai looked down at Bani once again….and his eyes caught the sight of her black til which was on the left side of her chest….just above the towel….he traced his finger around the til…. 'Bani…do you know when I had seen you for the first time that rainy day….this til of urs had caught most of my attention … from that day I wanted to do only one thing……'
Bani very innocently asked 'Kya'?
Jai: yeh …. Saying that he bened his head and kissed her til …. Bani just gasped for air as his lips touched her skin…. His hands cressing her back…as he ran his hand through her wet hair… his lips started to move from on side to the other side of her chest …..shoulder and …finally placing kisses along the side of her long slender neck……as Bani hold onto him for support…..Jai's hand started working it's way at the side of the towel …where other end of it was tugged in… his fingers slowly pulled at the end to open the open….but before he could pull the towel …Bani heard a knock on the door…..and this experience was short lived…. Bani pushed Jai away from her as she heard Anu's voice………
Anu: Bani mami…mujhe aap se baat karni hai…. Mein andar aaue kya….
Jai: Bani kya kar rein ho…. Saying that he took a step towards her…only to be stopped by her again…. 'Jai pagal ho gayen ho kya? Aap ko Anu ki awaz sunai nahin deta kya?' saying that she tried to rushed in the bathroom …. But Jai held her wrist…. 'I haven't finished with you sweetheart'…..
Bani: please jane do na…. I promise I'll make it upto you….
'In that case … it's ok…as long as you make it to me afterwards….'
As soon as Jai left her hand she rushed in the bathroom…..leaving Jai to open the door… he was so mad at Anu for coming at the wrong time….
'Kya hai….' He asked opening the door…looking very irritated…
Anu: mamaji … aap itni jaldi kaise aan gayen…. Aap ki tabiyat tu thik hai na…kyun ki usually tu aap 8 baje aate ho…aur aaj 7 bajne ki pehlein aan gayen…she asked with so much concern….
Jai: I'm fine Anu...and do you want me to live in the office 24/7 … can't I come to my own house earlier…
Anu: no…mamaji it's nothing like that… ur always welcome here… anyways mamiji kahan hai…
'woh bathroom mein hai' …
Anu: mamaji…isn't it strange…whenever I come to ur room… either you or mamiji in the bathroom… why is that?
Jai: Anu stop asking stupid questions…. Just then Bani came out all dressed in a white-blue colored dress….
Anu: mami…mujhe aapse kuch kaam tha….aap mere kamre aayen ge please…
Bani just gave a small smile and followed Anu to her room saying 'Jai aap kapre badal ke fresh ho jana….dinner taiyar hote hi mein aap ko bata dungi' …
Jai just nodded his head in agreement and went towards the bathroom while Anu took Bani in her room….
