Thank you all so much for your sweet comments and for reading my ff. Sorry I havent been able to write for so long due to different things. Here is the next part and I hope you guys will like it! 😉
Part 14
Rano drops herself back in bed and stares to the well known ceiling. She can't believe Bani thinks she tried to kill herself! She has tried to convince Bani in every way, but Bani doesn't believe her. 'It was just an accident didi.' Rano keeps wishpering the same sentences over and over again, while Bani gets a shower. When Bani comes out of the shower she grabs her purse and plants a kiss on her sisters forehead. 'Im really sorry I have to leave you for now Rano, but I dont have a choice. I just have to go and speak to mr. Walia myself. You please dont worry yourself. Pia is here to take care of you and I promise I will be back soon.' By hearing Pia's name Rano all of the sudden feels how her stomach turns upset and her headache increases. Bani once again assures her sister everything will be alright and leaves. A couple minutes later Pia walks in with hot coffee. She acts all sweet with Rano and tries to cheer her up. 'Pia! Please take your coffee and leave this room. You were so ashamed of me to be your sister, right? Well let me set you free of the burden. Hence forward we will just be sisters infront of Bani. When Bani is not around you wont be forced to put this whole carring sister act up!' Pia is too shocked to say something back and before she could recover herself again the doorbell rang. With heavy legs Pia got herself up from the bed and walked down. While drowned in her own thoughts she opened the door, only to get another shock. None other than Natwar was standing infront of her, just as shocked as she was.
Jai keeps starring at Bani while he let her words sink into him. 'Excuse me Bani, did you just resign or is it just my imagination?!' His voice was kind of threatening. Bani just noded her head, confirming what he said. Her eyes were fixed on the ground, she just couldnt meet his eyes. She was aware of the sudden tension in the office and his silent was killing her. The clap on his desk made her jump out of her chair. His loud voice and harsh tone filled the room. 'How dare you?! After all I did for you! How dare you come to my office and resign this way, while you know my daughter needs you?! Is it money?! I will pay you whatever you want!' He opens his wallet with force and gets throws money in the face of Bani. Bani is shocked and she feels how anger is taking control over her. 'Mr. Walia! Please respect yourself! I've not came to beg nor did I ever beg from you so please keep your money to yourself! I love Anjali and I loved to take care of her, but today I have other compulsions who force me to take this decision. Yesterday my sister almost commited suicide. I need to take care of her! I just cant be at two different places at the same time. My sisters are my honor and pride. Ive taken an oath to take care of them, but this way I cant. Please convey my greetings to Anjali and I hope you will find a new person to take care of her soon as she deserves the best in the world. And please tell her that I will come to visit her soon ... even if you don't like it.' She keeps giving Jai a cold stare all the while. Jai is holding his desk in fury and looks down. He doesnt lift his eyes untill he hears the door gets slammed behind Bani. Jai drops himself in his chair while Bani's words keep echoing in his ears.
Natwar stands in the Dixit's livingroom. Pia is making him some tea and keeps chatting with him from the kitchen. He cant believe that Pia is the sister of Rano. He cant believe that she could see her sister being in such grief and not do anything about it. Alot of questions run through his head and he feels his disliking of Pia grows bigger with each question. He never really liked her, because she threw herself at him, but now she has really ruined her chances with him. He gives Pia a disgusting look when she walks back into the livingroom holding a tray with tea and cookies. 'Oh by the way Natwar. Thank you so much for the beautiful flowers. They are so wonderfull!' Natwar gets up and sighs deeps. He stands right infront of Pia and gives her a cold stare. 'They are not for you Pia. I didnt even know you were living here. Ive came to visit Rano. Rano your sister, the sister you denied and humiliated infront of the entire world.' Pia is clearly taken aback by his words and doesnt know what to say. She wonders how come he is there to visit Rano and feels how a jealouse feeling is taking control over her. 'You know Pia. You must be the most disgusting person Ive came across in my entire life. If I wouldnt be standing in a respectfull house I would have spitted right in your face. Now if you don't mind, Im going upstairs to meet your sister!.' Without waiting for a reaction he takes two steps a time towards Rano's room.
Bani walks out of the hotel in a hurry. Her body is totally shaking from anger and the whole world looks black to her. She still can't believe Jai through money at her. 'Who the hell do you think you are?!' Without noticing she is talking out loud to herself she bumps into someone. Before she can fall on the ground she feels an arm around her waist preventing her to do so. 'Im Pushkar Shukla and who are you?' Bani looks up and sees a young men with a bright smile looking down on her. She feels how her cheeks turn crimson and quickly gets a hold on herself. 'Im really sorry sir, I should have paid more attention.' Pushkars smile gets bigger and he winks at her while saying. 'Dont mind, because I didnt. Its not like everyday a beautiful girl like you walks right into my arms.' Bani feels how her cheeks burn even more and she can't help to prevent a little smile to come across her face. 'That better miss. Much better. Smile to the world and it will smile right back at you.' He taps on her cheek, puts back his sunglasses and walks into the hotel, leaving a confused Bani behind.
Rano lift herself and sits down. She feels bored and wants to get out of her bed, but she feels too dizzy. She stares out of the window, but she cant see more than a blue sky and the top of a tree. A small knock on the door draws her attentions. She feels annoyed and yells to Pia to get lost as she doesnt want to see her. 'Neither do I, so thats why I run to hide here. Do you mind?' Rano is shocked to see Natwar standing in her room and thinks to herself what he is doing there.
