Part 15
Rano is dumbstruck and doesnt know what to say. Natwar walks inside her room with full confidence and closes the door behind him. 'I see that someone has already brought you flower, but don't mind Rano mine are more beautiful.' Rano just follows Natwar with her eyes as she is still not able to figure out what is going on. She watches him as he replaces the flower next to her bed with his. He then walks towards her desk and grabs her chair, put it next to her bed and drops himself on it. He gives Rano a million dollar smile and asks her how she is doing. Rano is so confused all she can think of is that this must be a stupid joke played by Sahil. Before she realises it she starts screaming. 'What the hell do you and your friends think?! What do you want from me? What have I ever do to you? Why cant you just leave me alone?!' Natwars smile vasnishes quickly and he tries to calm Rano down and make her understand why he came, but the girl is too angry to even hear a word he is saying. 'Rano please listen to me. I never supported Sahil and always told him to leave you alone. Please Rano just hear me out. Yesterday I came to apologise to you and take you to the collegeparty. Please just listen. Natwar puts his hands on Rano's shoulders in an attempt to get her attention, but that only makes her burn in fury more. She slaps his arms off her. 'How dare you touch me? Why the hell did you come?! Just leave! I cant stand you and I dont want to see you. And here take your stupid flowers with you!' She grabs the flowers and hits Natwar with them. She keeps hitting and screaming till the room becomes black infront of her and she faints.
Bani is searching the newspaper for a suitable vacancy. She is desperatly in need of a job. Its been two weeks after the accident of Rano now. Rano is doing much better and Bani has forced her to go in thearpy. But in order to pay for everything Bani really needs to get a job again. She is almost out of the little money she had saved. 'Didi?' Bani looks up from the newspaper and sees Rano standing next to her. She is looking nice in blue jeans and a baby pink t-shirt. Her face is still a little pale, but the doctor has assured Bani that Rano will soon be totally recovered. 'Didi, Natwar is standing outside waiting for me. He will take me to the doctor.' Bani smiles when she hears the name of Natwar. She remembers how Rano had bashed him up with the beautiful flowers he brought her. When Bani came back from mr. Walia's office that day she was shocked to find Natwar in Rano's room. The poor guy had scratches all over his face and arms, while Rano was sleeping peacefully. He explained to her what happend and she couldnt help but laugh at him. He gave her a puppy face before he bursted out laughing as well. The days after that Natwar kept visiting Rano daily and they became good friends. 'Didi?!' Rano's voice brings Bani back to their livingroom. 'Sure sweety, but tell Natwar to bring you back home early and invite him to dinner, ok?' Rano smiles in confirmation and closes the door behind her.
Tony is sitting infront of Anjali trying to make her eat her food, but she refuses. He has been trying to feed her for a hour now and she is seriously starting to get on his nerves. 'Please my daughter, have your food. I have still alot of work to do and your aunt will make my life a living hell if I dont do my chorus in time.' Anjali shakes her head in anger and things to herself that he should just leave her alone. She tries to speak her mind and say that she wants Bani to feed her, but her tongue is not helping her. In frustration she throws the tray away, spiling the food and drink over Tony and her carpet. Tony bites his lips in order not to scream or hit Anjali for her misbehaviour. Just then the door opens and mr. Walia walks in. He is suprised to see the state Tony is in. 'Tony? What is going on?' Tony gets up and sighs. 'I'm sorry sir, but miss Anjali refuses to have her food and she has thrown it away.' Jai gets angry. Anjali has been throwing tantrums ever since Bani stopped taking care of her and is pushing her father to dispear. He has already assigned two nurses in two weeks, but both of them left because Anjali gave them a hell of a time. 'Tony. Go and bring a new tray with breakfast. Anjali will have her breakfast whether she likes it or not!' Tony didnt like the look or the tone of his boss, but he left the room quickly and came back 5 minutes later. 'Thank you Tony. You may leave now.' When the door drops behind his servant, Jai sits himself infront of his daughter and tries to feed her. She looks angrily to her dad and shakes her head. 'Come on princess, you have to eat.' Anjali refuses again and every attempt of her father to make her eat fails. He tried to be sweet, to sing to her, to tell her a story even to bribe her, but nothing worked. 'What do you want Anjali? What do I have to do to make you eat?!' Jai has tried hard to control his frustatration but this time his tone had clearly something threatening about it, but Anjali doesnt notice it. She turns around and opens the draw next to her bed and grabs a picture of her dad, Bani and herself. She turns back to her dad and shows him the picture while she points at Bani. Just the sight of Bani makes Jai explode with anger. He snatches the picture out of his daughters small hand. 'Bani?! Bani?! Why the hell do you keep wanting to see her. She left you ok? And she doesnt want to be around you! This is the last time you think about Bani. Did I make myself clear?! And you will be a good girl. Have your food on time and go to bed on time and stop throwing tantrums and making your nurses run away from you! Now eat!!' Anjali looks at her dad with moist eyes. She sees how he fills a spoon with cereals and brings it to her mounth. Anjali keeps her lips tightly and shakes her head making her dad clear she doesnt want to eat it. She once again points towards the picture. Jai has now lost his total selfcontrol. He drops the spoon back and grabs the picture. 'You want Bani dont you? Well Bani is dead!' He torns up the pictures, not realising he is torning up his daughters heart. After that he grabs a spoon with the one hand and Anjali's face with the other. 'Now eat!' He forcefully puts the spoon in her mouth, making her almost choke. Anjali spits the food out as the tears flow down her cheeks. She cant believe Bani is dead and has left her just like her mother did. She keeps crying a heartcry while she looks at a shocked Jai and everything becomes black infront of her eyes.
