Part 37
'Pia! Hurry! You can kiss Pushkar later!' Anjali was nervous. Today is her dads and Bani wedding and she wants to be ready on time. She is happy that finally after months her dream is coming true. When her dad and Bani told her a couple of weeks back that they were getting married she almost fainted. She had hugged her dad and cried her heart out. Finally she would have a loving mother again and be part of a complete family.
Bani looked at herself in the mirror. She was nervous and happy. Today was the big day. She would marry the man she loved and share her very soul with him for the rest of her life. After a short knock on the door, Rano walked in and Bani knew it was time to get down. Her sisters accompanied her to the altar where her prince charming was awaiting her. Anjali was holding her dads hand and when Bani reached them, she made her dad hold Bani's hand. 'Bani aunty. Today I'm marrying you my dad. I have full faith in you that you will love him and make him happy. Please take good care of my papa.' Jai, Bani and all the guest started laughing and Bani promised in front of all to love Jai with heart and soul.
Natwar and Rano were watching everything from a distance. 'You know Rano. I want to have a daughter just like Anjali. She is the best daughter you can wish for, don't you think? I'd only want her to look more like you.' Rano blushed and giggled. 'Yeah, she is really something.' A cough made them both startle and step away from each other. Pushkar smiled mischievously at both and Rano quickly walked away blushingly, leaving a grinning Pushkar and Natwar behind. 'You really love her, huh dude?' Nattu sighed deeply. 'Just like you love Pia, mate.' Pushkar sighed even deeper, while he looked how his lady love was giving instructions to servants. She was still as bigheaded and self-centred as ever, but if it wasn't for his ignore treatment she would probably have never admitted that she loved him. He knew she was trouble, but he took her the way she was. He loved her and in love you can't set conditions.
Zyad looked at the newly wed couple. Jai was flirting shamlessly with Bani, while she blushed all the way. He was happy his friend had found his true love and got married. He wished him all the best and was happy he had played a role in getting the two duffers together. He smiled to himself and let his mind travel to a far past. 'Uncle Zyad, uncle Zyad!' Zyad looked down at a smiling Anjali. He kneeled down and pinched her in the cheek. 'Wow, who is looking so gorgeous today. Will you please be my date for this beautiful evening milady?' Anjali giggled. 'It would be my honour sir.' They both laughed and Anjali hugged Zyad. 'Thank you for everything uncle! I hope one fine day, you will find your true love too! And when you do I will do my best to help you get her!' Zyad felt a lump in his throat. 'Stop it Anjali. You will make me cry and look like a wimp!' Anjali giggled and kissed her favourite uncle on the cheek and hugged him even tighter. Zyad smiled a sad smile and shook his head in an attempt to forget the unforgettable. 'I love you. And I wish I could forget you. And forget my soul with you. My love, I swear, you're still my love. I swear, even if you've forgotten me. I swear, I can never forget your love. Can you try to remember me? Try to remember me.'
The End!
