Chapter 6

Sun rays fall on Nandini's face and she got up rubbing her eyes. She yawn for a while and noticed the blanket moreover the bandage was more perfectly tighten on her wrists. She wondered who had done it then her eyes fall on the handsome guy who was her husband now whether she accept it or not was lying on the bed sleeping peacefully just like a baby. Unknowingly a smile crept on her lips. Meanwhile she heard a knock on the door she hurried towards the door and slowly opened it trying her best not to disturb Manik's slumber sleep.There was the Butler who gave her a bag which Nayonika had sent for her. She thanked him and he left.She opened the bag it had clothes in it she choose a yellow saree from all the stuff and went in bathroom to take bath.

Manik woke up due to constant buzzing of his phone. He read the caller ID it was Alya. He lazily answered the call

"Hello...!!"

"What hello..?? Where the hell are you Manik..??" Alya almost screamed.Alya's alarming voice brought Manik out of his sleep and he remembered all the incidents of last night. "Oh Freak..!!" Manik mentally shouted.

"Ummm Alya yeah I am back from Manglore...!!"

"You are back and you haven't told me..!! What are you upto Manik...?? What the hell is going on?" Alya said in an annoyed tone.

"Alya I will be at your place within 2 hours and will explain you everything call everyone i have something important to discuss..!!" Manik said in a serious tone.

"Ok baby I am waiting..!!" Alya replied still annoyed at Manik's suspicious behavior.

Meanwhile Nandini came out of bathroom. Manik was stunned to see her in Yellow saree. She was looking beautiful. Nandini noticed him staring at her and she gave him a "What" expression to which he immediately lowered his gaze and rushed towards the bathroom.

In bathroom Manik talking to himself "Ufff what's happening to me..! God...!! Why was I staring her like a fool..?? Why is she so irresistible..??" Manik was getting angry on himself. "And now I have to give all my friends a stupid explanation for all this mess..!!"

After getting ready Manik came down stairs and saw Nayonika sitting on breakfast table, Nandini was serving her. Nayonika saw him and gave him a bright smile.

"Come here Manik..!! Lets eat breakfast together..!!" Nayonika called him lovingly.

"I am not hungry Mama...!!" Saying that Manik frowned,look at Nandini who was staring him.And he left.

Manik stopped his car in front of Alya's house. He again recalled the story which he had prepared during the 20 mints drive towards Alya's house and got down of the car. When he entered the hall he saw Fab4 sitting on sofas with very serious expressions. Alya saw him and hugged him. Manik tried to hug her back but he didn't.

"Manik..?? What's going on?" Mukti starts her interrogation.

"Yes Buddy...?? Where have you been??" Dhurv asked worriedly.

"Please tell us something??" Cabir also joined them.

"Guys please relax...!! Listen to me...!!" Manik said and all of them sat. Manik narrate the whole story but skipping the little romantic moments which he shared with Nandini. Hearing his story and Alya got up and smashed the water glass on the floor.

"How could you this to me Manik...?? You love me then how could you marry a commoner??" Alya shouted.

"Alya it's not my fault. Mama insisted me for this. You know I can't say no to her...!!" Manik again tried to explain his point.

"Oh really? You and your so cold Mama...!! I am sick of all this Mama thing.If your Mama will ask you to jump in the well will you do that for her??" Alya again accused him. That was it for Manik how could she talk about his Mama like this.

"Shut up Alya...!! Just shut your mouth...!! Yes I will jump in the well I can do anything for her..!! You are angry at me na?? Then why are you dragging my Mama in all this..!!" Manik got up and replied in equal anger.

"Guys...!! Calm down..!! It's not time to fight...!! We have to find a solution for this...!!" Cabir interrupted them and made Manik sit again. Manik took a frustrated sigh.

"Yeah Alya Cabir is right...!!" Mukti tried to calm down Alya and placed her hand on her shoulder. Alya jerked her hand and left from there. They all heard the sound of her car that means she has drove away all took a sigh.

"Guys..!! It's not my fault..!! Try to understand..!! " Manik almost pleaded.

"We know buddy..!! We understand you..!! Alya...She is very possessive about you. That's why she is reacting that much..!!" Dhruv ensured him. And Manik gave him a faint smile.

"OK I am going to office..!! I am sure Mama will not come today..!! So I have to check..!!" Saying that Manik excused himself and left for office.

At Malhotra Mansion Nayonika called Nandini in kitchen.

"Nandini I have called you here to cook Manik's favorite dishes. I want you to get to know about his likes,dislikes everything. You know Manik loves Chinese. Do You know how to cook chinese?" Nayonika asked lovingly.

"Yes aunty I know..!!" Nandini smiled. And started cooking although she was least interested in cooking for Manik but she did as she want Nayonika to assume that everything is perfect between her and Manik. Nayonika had asked her about the wounds on the wrists but she made an excuse and didn't mentioned her what happened last night. After she had done with cooking she came out and saw Nayonika sitting in the lounge doing some paperwork. Nandini joined her.

"Are you done with cooking?" Nayonika asked her affectionately. Nandini just nodded in reply.

"Very good..!! Now go and get ready..!!"

"Ready..?? For what??" Nandini asked a little surprised.

"For MANIK..!! Of course...!! Come on Nandini it is a responsibility of a good wife to cook for her husband,to take care of his every single thing,to get dressed for him, and when he come from office greet him with a smiling face..!! You know these typical desi husbands like all these things. I used to do all these things for Manik's Papa. And I know Manik will surely like all this..!!" Nayonika explained. "And yes..!! The sarees which I gave you today there is a red one in them. Wear red It's Manik's favourite color..!!" Saying that Nayonika again started doing her paperwork.

"What red in Manik's favorite color...Just like as Mayank's...!" Nandini thought to herself and walked towards her room. She was about to step on the staircase when she heard someone called her. It was a girl surely she was beautiful and modern too. She was staring at Nandini as if she had stolen her something. She came close to her.

"How dare you?? " Girl shouted on her.

"Excuse me?? Dare for what??" Nandini gave her a confusing look. Nayonika rushed towards them.

"Alya...!! What are you doing here??" Nayonika asked angrily.

"Listen up girl..!! Manik is mine..!! He only loves me..!! It doesn't matter that you are his wife now but soon he will leave you..!!" Alya said that,completely ignoring Nayonika. And left giving Nandini a hateful stare.

"Umm Nandini don't take tension...!! You go and Get ready..!! Manik will be here anytime soon..!! Nayonika tried to cover up and Nandini left for her room.

" Mr.Malhotra loves someone else..!!" Nandini was sitting in front of the mirror.

"He will Leave you" Alya;s words echoed in her ears.

"These all men are the same..!! Deceivers..!!" Nandini thought to herself in hatred.

She heard horn of the car which must be of Manik's. She quickly took a last glance of herself in the mirror and rushed downstairs.

Manik entered Malhotra Mansion all frustrated due to Alya's behavior moreover the work in office was also very hectic. He saw Nayonika who gave him a bright smile and he smiled back.

"You are back honey " Nayonika pat his head. " How was your day?"

"Hectic" Manik replied. He was talking to Nayonika when he saw Nandini coming down the stairs. And yeah she was wearing a red saree his favorite. Nayonika saw him staring at her and smiled.

"Manik..!! You know today Nandini has cooked food for you. Your favorite Chinese..!" Nayonika's voice broke his trance.

"You go and get freshed. Let's go Nandini we will arrange the dinner..!! Saying that Nayonika took Nandini with her and Manik went to his room to take bath.

Food was delicious. Manik eat to his full.After dinner MaNan went to their room and Nayonika to her.

After Manik looked the door there was an awkward silence between them.

"Ummm Nandini food was very tasty..!!" For the first time Manik has called her "Nandini".

"Thanks" Nandini smiled. Suddenly Alya's words echoed in her ears " Manik is mine" "Manik loves me".Her smile faded and replaced by anger.

"By the way your ""GIRLFRIEND"" had came today..!!" Nandini said as anger and jealousy was visible in her voice. Manik's eyes widened with surprise.

Here is the chapter guys. I know very few Manan scenes in this chapter but I have to wrote this because it was necessary for story's plot. But I promise next will be full of MaNan. Thank you sooo much for all the super lovely comments. I am very humbled. Thanks alot.
