Chapter 7 A

"By the way your ""GIRLFRIEND"" had came today..!!" Nandini said as anger and jealousy was visible in her voice. Manik's eyes widened with surprise.

"What..?? Girlfriend..!!" Manik asked with surprise.

"Alya...!! Who else..!! She came today and told me that you love her...!!" Nandini replied and turned towards the mirror to take off her jewelry Manik was facing her back. "And she also told me that you will leave me..!!" Saying that Nandini almost choked. "Yeah I know that I have came between you and Alya..!! And I am really very sorry for that..!! I know it's your life...And because of me it is spoiled..!! I am sorry..!" Nandini hide her tears." You all men are the same na..!! Mayank left me and you will also do the same..!!"Shattered trust was visible in her voice but that was it for Manik.He rushed towards her and hold her both arms.

"How dare you..?? How dare you to compare me with that bloody jerk?" Manik yelled. "If you are forgetting Miss Murthy then let me remind you that you should be thankful to me for marrying you..!! And you are showing me this bloody attitude? If I love alya then what about you haan? You also love that loser..!! What he did to you? Just left you without any reason? And you...!! You idiot tiny head girl..!! You are still waiting for him..What you think I can't see that you have wore this red Saree for him..?" Manik's eyes turned red due to hatred and anger. And Nandini became shocked after hearing all this.

"I haven't wore this for him..!!" Nandini said in a low voice.She don't know why but her heart was screaming to tell Manik that she has wore this saree for him. But her mind was denying.

"Oh shut up...!! And listen no matter what I am not gonna leave you..!!" Manik also didn't knew why he said that but he almost pushed her aside and walked towards the bed.

"Mr. Malhotra listen to me..!!" Nandini again tried to start the conversation as she was shocked at his behavior.But Manik was not in a mood.

"Turn off the lights I want to sleep..!!" Manik lay down on the bed and hide his face with blanket. Tears rolled down off Nandini's cheeks she changed and lay down on the couch.

"Why my heart was trying to tell him that I wore that saree for him..!! Not for Mayank..!! Wait!! why should I tell him?? No I haven't wore for him either...Aunty asked me to do so na..?? Then why I am feeling hurt when he said all that...I hate him he hates me then what? Do you really hate him Nandini..??" Ohhh God what am I thinking..!! If he loves Alya then he will surely leave me but he is saying that he will not leave me..!! Aiyappa..!! " Nandini tossed on the couch thinking all this.

On the other hand Manik was lying quietly. All thinking and jealous. Random thoughts were roaming in his mind. He was feeling hurt because of Nandini's words. Thinking about each other they both drifted to sleep.

Nandini woke up in the morning it was 6 am. She saw Manik was sleeping on his stomach.

"'No matter what I am not gonna leave you"" Manik's words echoed in her mind. Don't know why but she felt relaxed. She walked towards him and adjusted his blanket,lightly touched his hair and smiled.

After getting fresh she opened Manik's almirah and took out a white shirt with black pants and blazer,she set up everything for him and came out of room to prepare breakfast.

Manik's alarm was continuously disturbing his sleep. He got up cursing his alarm and noticed that Nandini was nowhere. He went in washroom to take a shower when he came to his almirah to get his clothes he saw those clothes which were placed by Nandini. He smiled and was about to pick them when all her words of last night again started haunting him. In frustration he almost throw the clothes back in to Almirah,choose and another yellow shirt with blue blazer and shut the doors of almirah behind him.

Nandini quickly prepared breakfast for Manik as Nayonika was still sleeping. She was arranging the plates on the table when she saw Manik coming down the stairs he hadn't wore those clothes which she choose for him she felt something stabbed her heart. But she ignored it and went towards him.

"Mr. Malhotra..!! Breakfast is ready..!!" She said with a hope in her voice.

"I am not hungry..!!" Saying that Manik completely ignored her and left for office.

Nandini felt like crying her heart out. "Why am I feeling so hurt on his behavior...?? What's happening to me..??"

Manik was continuously typing documents on his laptop,he was still angry on the yesterday's encounter with Nandini.Some one knocked on his office door.

"Come in" Manik said in an irritating voice.

"Hey Bro..!!" It was Cabir always manage to smile.

"Hey Cabir...!! What's up?" Manik exclaimed and gave him a hi-five.

"Nothing much..!! Just come to see you..whether you are ok or not?" Saying that Cabir sat on the chair.

"I am ok Cabir..!!" Manik replied in a tiring voice. "She don't understand me..!! She thinks that all men are the same..!!" Nandini was still on his mind.

"Manik give her sometime she will be ok..!! It's very hard for her to digest that you are married..!!" Cabir started playing with the earth globe which was placed on Manik's desk.

"Ohh you are talking about Alya..!!" Manik replied a little embarrassed.Cabir stopped playing with globe and gave Manik a surprised look.

"Of course I am talking about Alya..!! BTW to whom you are talking about??" Cabir said with an astonished tone.

"Wo main..!! I was talking about Nandini..!!" Manik added hesitantly.

"Nandini..!! Your wife..!!" Cabir exclaimed. And Manik simply nodded. "Wohooo Bro..!! What is the matter..??"

"I don't know Cabir..!!" Manik held his head.

"Come on yaar..!! You know you can share anything with me..!!" Cabir assured him.

"I don't know yaar..!! She is getting on my nerves. I always kept thinking about her...!" Saying that Manik explained him what happened last night. Cabir listened to his words carefully and realized that Manik definitely feels something for Nandini.

"So you always feel jealous when she talks about Mayank hmmm??" Cabir said with an exciting expression.

"Bullshit...!! I married her because of Mama" Manik yelled and his eyes widened.

"Kya Karoon hye..!! Kuch Kuch hota hai..!!" Cabir started singing and Manik tried to cover his ears.

"Get out of my office now you idiot..!!" Manik threw a paperweight towards Cabir and asked him to go.

Cabir catch it. "Fine I am going..!!" Cabir laughed out loud and went out of his office."Mr Malhotra accept it or not you are in love..!!" Cabir think while driving of his house.

At Malhotra Mansion.

Nayonika wasn't feeling well. She had a little fever and Nandini was attending her responsibly. Nandini was asking her to eat the soup but Nayonika was denying like a child.

"Mama..!! You have to eat this...!!" Nandini said with an irritating tone. Suddenly she realized what she said. "Umm I mean aunty..!!" Nandini felt a little embarrassed.

"Ohhh No darling please call me Mama..!! Just like Manik...!! I love it..!!" Nayonika pat her head and continued "You know Nandini..!! You are perfect for my son..!! I am sure he must have feelings for you..!! I can see it in his eyes..!! The way he looks at you I have never seen him looking at some other girl like this..!! You know why I was trying to tell you to behave like a typical bahu..?? Because I know you are the only girl who can make my son's life beautiful..!!" Nayonika said with affection.

"But Mama..!! Alya..!! Your son loves Alya..!!" Nandini said with a doubt.

"No..!! It's just an attraction nothing else..!!" Nayonika added. " I know Nandini that because of Mayank your trust is shattered but beta give Manik at least a single chance...!! Try to trust him..! My little Monster is not that bad either..!!" Nayonika ended up with a smile. Tears rolled down of Nandini's cheeks. And she fed Nayonika the soup and made her sleep after giving her tablets.

"Why..?? Why my heart is feeling something for Mr.Malhotra..!! Why??" She thought to herself.
