Chapter 2

Nandini was sitting in front of her mirror, thinking about her wedding.

"I can't believe that I am getting married in one day. Aiyyapa..!! I am very nervous.." She was talking to herself when her thoughts were interrupted by her Bestie Navya.

"Ohooo...!!! Nervous han..?? No need to worry as far as i know Mayank is a good guy..!! He will give you all the happiness you deserve". Navya tried to cheer her up and Nandini blushed.Navya was teasing Nandini meanwhile Nandini's phone rang. Before Nandini could pick up the call Navya almost snatched it, saw the caller ID and exclaimed with joy because it was Mayank.

"Ohooo..!! Our Jeju is calling.Awww how impatient he is Ok let me tell him that there is only one day left then no one will separate you both..!!" Nandini frowned hearing to Navya's nonsense speech. And tried to snatch her phone back.

"Navya give it back to me..!!" Nandini almost shouted

"No no I will not..!!" Navya replied while running towards terrace.

"Manik my darling baby get up. We are almost here..!!" Nayonika tried to wake up her cute son who was sleeping like a baby in her lap as they were going to arrive at Murthy residence soon. She patted his cheeks and ruffled his hair.

"Mama please let me sleep..!!" Manik replied in a sleepy tone and tried to turn his side.Nayonika smiled at his gestures.

"You sleepyhead".Gently slapped him on his head. "You were sleeping the whole way isn't that enough for you? You even didn't bother that your Mama was getting bored..!!" She said with a fake anger. Manik's eyes shoot open at the word "bored" he immediately turned in her lap to face her he actually didn't talk to her the whole way. He felt a little embarrassed but after all he was Manik Malhotra who never felt ashamed on his deeds and never ever said sorry to anyone.

"Mama...!! First you forced me to come with you and now you are angry at me again...!! I don't know what to do?" Instead of apologizing Manik accused her. To which Nayonika laughed out loud and Manik joined her.Manik was about to say something when driver told them that they had reached. Manik immediately got up and get out of the car and opened the door for Nayonika like a gentleman and extend his hand for her. Nayonika again laughed at his cute antics as she knew that Manik was doing all this to compensate his rude behavior during the whole journey and she also knew that he will not say sorry for his rudeness her cute little monster.Nayonika held his hand and started walking with him. As they reached the main door they heard shouts of two girls. Manik look up to see who were they.

There were lots of beautiful flower pots on the wall of terrace and some of them were hanging by the roof. All of them beautifully colored by Nandini herself.

"Navya enough is enough. I said give my cell back to me...!!" Nandini shouted at top of her voice.

"NO NO NO..!!" Navya showed her tongue to Nandini to which she got more irritated. And again made an attempt to snatch her phone and Navya push her towards the terrace wall. And one of the flower pot fell down. She was trying to snatch the phone when she heard a scream full of pain.

"Oh No...!! What have I done..?" She run towards the wall again and look down. And saw a boy holding his foot and screaming on top of his voice he look up towards her and their eyes met. The boy had chocolate brown eyes. He was tall and equally handsome in Nandini's point of view. And his dressing was so dashing, the red blazer he was wearing was cherry on the top. Pain and anger was visible in his eyes.

Manik almost got an hit on his head if he had not changed his position on time. But to his bad luck he got hit on his foot.He saw a girl peeping of the terrace wall.No doubt she was beautiful her perfect hazel orbs were enhancing her beauty. Innocence and a glimpse of fear was visible in her eyes. But Manik was not at all interested in her beauty. The thing matter to him at that time was his foot which was badly hurt so he was shooting daggers towards her through his eyes.

"Manik..!! Baby are you OK..??" Nayonika asked with concern. But Manik was busy in staring to that girl. Suddenly she disappeared behind the terrace wall. Nayonika pat on Manik's shoulder and he came out of trance and felt a sharp pain in his foot.And involuntary scream escaped his mouth.

"Manik?? Manik say something Jaan..!! Is it paining a lot..?" Nayonika asked having almost tears in her eyes.When Manik saw her lovely Mama worried he immediately composed himself as he didn't want to get her tensed because of him.

"Ufff Mama..!! Stop panicking. I am fine..!!" Manik wiped her tears which were rolling down on her cheeks and smiled. Seeing him smiling Nayonika relaxed. And then Manik saw a man may be in his early thirties advancing towards them. Manik immediately recognized him he was "Rishab Murthy" one of the renowned business tycoon of all times.

"Hello Miss Nayonika..!!" He exclaimed and shook hand with her. Nayonika smiled back and introduced Manik to him.

"I hope that your journey went well..!! Thank you so much for coming. Please step in..!!" Saying that Rishab lead them towards the hall.

"Yeah journey was good but welcome was painful" Manik murmured to himself Nayonika heard and showed him eyes.

"Please have a seat..!!" Rishab asked them to sit on the sofa. And then his wife Anajli also came there and said hello to them.Manik was looking here and there. Those hazel orbs were stuck in his mind he was continuously thinking about her.

"Where is Nandini?" Nayonika asked with excitement.

"Ohhh she is getting ready in her room..!! All the guests are coming today for her dholki." Anjali replied

"Wait let me call her..!! Nandu..!! Come down guests are here..!!" Rishab called out loud.

"OMG Navya..!! Now bhaiya will not gonna spare me. I have hurt his guest...Aiyyapa...!! What to do..??" Nandini was roaming here and there in panic those eyes full of anger and pain were getting on her nerves when she heard Rishab calling her.

"Relax Nandu. Nothing will happen You go. You know na if you will go late Rishab bhaiya will become angry at you.." Navya consoled her and push her towards the staircase.

Nandini stepped down of the stairs and she noticed those chocolate brown eyes staring at her. The intensity of those eyes was too much. Nandini quickly run towards his brother seeing him smiling she become relaxed and understood that that guy hadn't told him anything she thanked to her Aiyappa.

At first Manik got shocked after seeing Nandini, but then he thought wickedly to himself "Now that's gonna be fun..!!"

"Nandini meet Miss Nayonika Malhotra..!!" Rishab introduced her to Nayonika, she got up from her seat and hugged Nandini.

"And her son Manik Malhotra..!!" Rishab continued and Nandini turned toward him. He was continuously staring at her and he got up, moved towards her and smiled. Seeing him smiling Nandini became relax. Manik came close to her and extend his hand for a handshake Nandini smiled and took his hand.He slowly bend over her and whisper in her ear which widened her hazel eyes in shock. And the whisper was...

"I haven't forgiven you. Get ready for the revenge Miss Murthy..!!" Hatred was clear in his voice. Nandini trembled on her place..

Chapter 3

Nandini froze at her place. "Aiayapa..!! He hasn't forgot? Now what should I do...?? I think I should apologize..!!" Nandini thought to herself.

"Nandu guests are tired show them the way to their room." Rishab asked Nandini but she was thinking about Manik's words.Rishab shook her shoulder.

"Haan? Which room...?? Bhaiya...!!" She said still lost in her thoughts. Manik was continuously smiling wickedly on her condition.

"Which room..?? Of course Nandu the guest room next to yours.!!" Rishab said with a little surprise.

"What next to my room? " She almost shouted and Rishab's eyes widened with shock at her behaviour.Seeing Rishab Nandini composed herself.

"Ummm I mean yes the room next to mine...ok yeah..!! I will follow you Aunty...arghhh I mean you follow me" Nandini said with fumbled voice. And stepped up the stair.Everyone was shocked on her behavior except Manik.

Nandini stopped at the front of their room and turned. Her eyes fell on Manik who was smiling at her. She ignored him and said

"Aunty this is your room and the next room is mine..!! If you need anything please just ask me"

"Sure dear I will..!!!" Nayonika replied smilingly. And went inside the room.Manik was about to enter in the room when Nandini called him.

"Ummm Mr.Malhotra..!!" Confusion and fear was visible in her voice.Manik smiled and turned.

"Yes Ms.Murthy..!!"

"Woh actually i want to say sorry...!! Look I hadn't done that intentionally.It was an accident." She replied with a fumbled voice.

"So you should avoid these accidents Miss Murthy. Or this will leads you towards worst..!!" He replied angrily and turned to enter his room but again to his bad luck the door was closed and he hit his nose on door. As soon as he hit the door he heard Nandini's laughter.

" Mr.Malhotra you also should avoid these accidents...!!" Nandini said while laughing and run in her room.Manik fumed with anger.He shook his head in disgust and entered his room to set up a plan.

To take his revenge Manik peep in Nandini's room. He heard a girl talking to Nandini.

"Wow Nandu you are wearing red today..! Ahaaa I know It's Mayank's favorite color na..? " Navya asked Nandini teasingly. And Nandini blushed on her remarks.

"You Know Navya...!! Mayank bought this for me. It is very precious..!!" Nandini said happily.

Manik fumed with anger hearing Mayank's name he ignored that feeling which unknowingly crept inside him that was jealousy. But he was there to take revenge. He saw Navya coming out of the room. He hid behind the pillar and Navya went without seeing him. He again peeped in her room and saw it was empty. He heard the sound of shower so he understood that Nandini is in bath room.He entered her room.And took notice of the things. He saw a photo frame on the side table of her bed there was a picture of her and her family. Then he saw lots of photo frames on the wall. One of them had a picture which must be of Nandini's childhood she was giving a toothless smile in it. Unknowingly his lips curved in a smile after seeing those photos. In last photo frame there was a guy with Nandini and he was putting a ring in her finger. He frowned seeing that picture and remembered that he was there for revenge.He noticed that Nandini's dress was placed on the bed. He look here and there,saw her kajal on the mirror shelf he immediately took it and draw a big winking emo on her dress. And wrote:

"Don't you ever dare to mess up with me again"

And smilingly he left.

Nandini came out of bathroom and saw her ruined dress and read the caption. First she become shocked,then her anger rose.She picked up her dress and rushed to Manik's room.She didn't even bothered to knock and entered his room luckily Nayonika wasn't there.Manik was playing his guitar,eyes closed.

"What is this nonsense Mr.Malhotra..??" Nandini's anger full voice forced him to open his eyes.He smiled seeing her and got up.

"What is nonsense Miss Murthy?" Manik's were like bombs for her. She throw her shirt on his face.

"This nonsense..!! How dare you..? How dare you to spoil my shirt haan? You know how much it is precious to me..!! It's..!!" Before she could complete Manik cut her words.

"It's Mayank's favorite color and he brought this for you right? " Manik mimics her style. Nandini's jaw dropped in shock.And Manik turned his face in hatred.

"How do you know?" She said with a shock.

"Wohoo?? Who the hell are you to ask me this? You think I will answer to your stupid questions? And FYI Manik Malhotra knows everything..!!"

"You were spying on me?" Nandini asked angrily.

"None of yours business...!!" Manik replied with equal anger.

"Really...!!? None of my business haan?" Saying that Nandini look here and there to search something to release her frustation.She saw his guitar,picked it up and was about to smash it on the wall when Manik held her hand.

"Have you gone nuts Miss Murthy..?" Manik shouted on top of his voice and tried to snatch his guitar.He grab her waist and dragged her away from the wall as she was continuously trying to smash his guitar on the wall.

"Leave me you Monster...!!" Nandini shouted. Manik again pulled her and his foot entangled with corner of the bed he imbalanced and fell on the bed with on Nandini on his top. Instantly Nandini stopped shouting. They had an eye lock. Then Manik noticed that Nandini's hair were wet. Those wet locks were teasing her eyes Manik slowly tuck her strands behind her ear. On the other hand Manik's intense gaze was setting Nandini on fire. Those chocolate brown eyes definitely had something in them which was driving her crazy. When Manik tucked her hair behind her ear she shut her eyes.Suddenly Manik's mobile rang breaking their trance. They realized that Manik was holding Nandini's waist.Manik left her waist.Nandini immediately got up and run from there. Manik picked up the call it was from cabir.

"Hy Bro..?? What's up?" Cabir his best buddy. Always full of life.

"Nothing special. Just practicing with guitar..!!" Manik smiled and said.

"Yar you even didn't bother to tell me and you left for Manglore. Not fair han..! But it's ok Mothers thing I know..! You are on a marriage na? Tell me there must be lots of beautiful girls na..!!" Hearing the word "beautiful" Nandini's face shoot up in Manik's mind and again he got lost. Cabir was continuously blabbering. When Cabir noticed that he is not paying attention to him he tried to gain his attention.

"Manik..?? Bro...?? Are you there??" Cabir said doubtly.

"Yeah Yeah I am here...So what were you saying..??" And they kept talking to each other.

Manik came down of the stairs and saw many girls sitting on the floor. And they were singing songs of weddings. He also saw his Mama enjoying he became happy saw his Mama smiling but Nandini was not there he went out of the hall as this marriage thing was always been a boring stuff for him. He heard Nandini's voice.Unintentionally he followed the voice.

"Bhiaya g how many time I have told you not to wrap this Garland with this pillar...!! You won't listen to me..!! Just go from here and check all the arrangements of the entrance..!!"She was ordering the servant and the servant went from there noddingly.Manik saw her she stepped up over the stool and started adjusting the garland.Manik was just staring her. "How can be someone so beautiful? What? No what am I thinking she is getting married Manik. She love someone else..! Stop thinking of her..!!" Manik was fighting with his heart and mind. When he saw the stool moving.

Nandini felt the stool shaking and suddenly her foot slipped. She closed her eyes in fear then she felt pair of strong arms held her. She slowly opened her eyes and again those chocolate eyes were staring her. Mesmerizing her beauty. He was very close to her so close that she can feel his breath fanning her face. She noticed his features. Brown eyes,perfectly curved lips,sharp cheekbones all those features were making him more handsome. And Manik he was again lost in her beauty. Those pouty pink lips, hazel eyes full of innocence making him her slave.Suddenly a sharp voice brought them out of trance.

"Nandini...!!!"

Manik noticed the guy who had called her. He was the same guy that was in picture. Manik frowned seeing him.Nandini start panicking and started shaking her legs. Mayank was fuming in anger after seeing Nandini in an strangers arms.

"Mr Malhotra..!! Put me down..!!" Nandini shouted at Manik. Manik put her down. She run towards Mayank.And held his hand.

"Mayank..!! Hi you are here..??" Nandini tried to divert his attention. As she noticed him staring at Manik.

"Who is he...??" Mayank asked with anger and hatred.Sensing that anger and hatred in his voice Manik lose his temper before Nandini could say anything to handle the situation. Manik walked towards them.

"I am Manik Malhotra...!! Before you accuse me of holding your fiance in my arms let me tell you that If I hadn't held her she must had broken her leg..!!" Saying all this Manik took a glance of Nandini's face and went from there. He could clearly heard the arguments between the so cold couple he sighed in disgust because he can clearly felt from their conversation that how hard Nandini was trying to tell him that there is nothing like that as he was thinking and all. "Foolish people" Manik murmered and went to his room to sleep as it was already late.

Nandini also lay down on her bed to get some sleep. She sighed in relief at last she had succeeded in convincing Mayank."I should stay away from Mr.Malhotra..!" She thought. And soon the sleep took over both of them.
