See right now neither Manik or Nandu are dwelling on their own gyaan regarding love that they've passed along to other ppl😆...they are both reeling in shock and pain over what's happened...with time, these things will manifest themselves.

To put it simply, Manik chose friendship over love...it was a hard choice either ways...someone had to be hurt in the process.

@blue: Very interesting point there...Manik revels in and hides behind his "bad guy" persona...but has he ever directly stated that he feels he doesn't deserve Nandini? Maybe I missed an epi somewhere :S...I thought he let go of Nandu for Dhruv simply cuz he is that protective of Dhruv and can't see him shattering if he doesn't get Nandu...

But you're saying he genuinely has that inferiority complex? That he isn't deserving of an extremely good-hearted Nandu? And Dhruv being this guy who's always been nice to Nandu deserves her more?

Ofcourse all that he's shattered, he'll have to grovel to build again...

Nandu's disbelief should have been elaborated on more...a little more denial before she broke down...but they moved quickly there and the Monster Manik persona won as usual.

Manik has relied on the strength of his will a lot...he thinks if he WILLS himself to stay away from Nandini, wills himself to make her hate him, he will be able to do it...but he will realize that he is helpless cuz this is a matter of the heart, not mind.

He didn't say that actually, but he's always been a monster to her, she always called him a monster, and maybe that triggered him. Maybe that somewhere makes him feel that he's undeserving, coz she's good, and Dhruv is good too.
And also like you said, he's very protective of Dhruv, but initially when Dhruv was getting attached to Nandini, he didn't like it. He even told her that he disliked their friendship. He could have asked Dhruv to stay away from her if he was protective, but he asked her instead. This makes me feel that he thinks he has come in between. Had he controlled his feelings, then this mess wouldn't have been there in the first place, she would have easily been with Dhruv.


After watching today's episode, I think he'll realise sooner than expected, that he did a mistake. He had to tell Dhruv to console her, to make sure she was okay. And yet, he wasn't okay with them spending time together. He was restless when he saw them together. And already questions about his timing, ke he should have waited until her performance was over.

Hmm I do think they both still trust each other. Manik had enough trust in her to know that if he stepped back, she will pull him towards her. He trusted her enough to know that she will always be with him. Yet it was because of his this trust that he had to be somebody else- his monster self and cover the real Manik to break up with her. When he said "rok lo mujhe" , that was the only slip in his facade .

It has been a day. One day.
Had their relation lasted a tad bit longer, I doubt she would have believed him as easily. This almost seemed like 'won the race, moving on' to her, as like she said, she IS new to all this. She can't be blamed.
Manik, on the other hand-that poor thing faces a dilemma, and puts on the only facade he has donned since eternity. The only way he knew he could shatter the fresh promises they made only a few hours ago. It is foolish, but again, he can't be blamed. This is the only way that he knows.
Let time be the judge. Because for two souls so destined, there is a long way to go.
