Anupamaa: Rahi’s heartbreak as she gives the trophy to Anupama

In tonight's episode of Anupamaa, the dance competition reaches its emotional peak as, following the performances of both Anupama and Rahi, Kunal steps onto the stage. Kunal takes the stage and declares that no one has ever witnessed a performance as remarkable as the one delivered by Anupama and Rahi.

Kunal Announces a Fair Chance for Both Finalists

Kunal further clarifies that since Rahi collapsed only after the performance had ended, she cannot be held responsible for any mistake. This revelation surprises everyone, including Anupama, who had no idea about Rahi's fall because of her blurred vision.

While the announcement sparks a ray of hope for Rahi and the Kotharis, Anupama, worried for her, softly asks if Rahi is alright, but Rahi remains quiet.

Kunal then declares that as neither of the contestants committed an error during the act, the trophy could still go to either of them. He adds that the final decision will rest with the judges and the audience, ensuring both Anupama and Rahi get an equal chance at victory.

Judges and Family Reactions

The judges step in to share their thoughts, praising the seamless coordination between Anupama and Rahi. They even remark that instead of competing against each other, it would have been wonderful to see the two perform as partners.

Meanwhile, the Shah family sends their heartfelt wishes for Anupama's success, while the Dance Ranis also pray for her victory. On the other side, Vasundhara sternly says that if Rahi fails to win today, she will lose respect for her. Khyati is surprised at how Anupama managed to perform despite her vision problem, but continues to root for Rahi's success. Paritosh, too, believes Rahi deserves the win.

The Verdict and Anupama’s Victory

As the moment of truth approaches, Kunal heightens the suspense by saying the judges have reached their decision. He admits that he wishes both Anupama and Rahi could be declared winners, but reminds everyone that love and victory cannot be divided.

The result leaves Rahi, her team, Gautam, Paritosh, Vasundhara, and Khyati in shock. Anupama stands frozen, recalling the struggles of her past, while Rahi is crushed seeing her moment of happiness.

Jignesh breaks down over Rahi's defeat, but Hasmuk gently reminds him that their support has always been with Anupama. Even then, Hasmuk admits that he feels sorry for Rahi. Prarthana tells Ansh that the situation is confusing, it's difficult to feel happy about Anupama's win when it comes at the cost of Rahi's loss.

As Vasundhara turns to leave, Parag urges her to stand by Rahi during this low phase. Meanwhile, Kunal notices Ahuja's absence and asks Khaitan who will present the trophy. Khaitan responds that he has someone in mind who could do the honours.

To everyone's surprise, Kunal requests Rahi to hand the trophy to Anupama. Initially reluctant, Rahi is persuaded by Pakhi and Mahi, who remind her that refusing would make her appear jealous. Anupama, too, feels a pang of sadness as Khyati and Vasundhara's anger continues to rise.

Anupama's Confession

Kunal then makes another major announcement—Anupama and the Dance Ranis will now represent India in an international dance competition, as their journey is just beginning.

With blurred vision, Anupama accepts the trophy. She asks for some water to splash on her eyes and feels relieved when her sight clears, admitting that her vision had been cloudy throughout the performance

Shocked, Kunal asks if she really danced without proper vision, and Anupama nods, saying she relied entirely on her faith in God. Hasmuk proudly declares that she has made him proud, while Kunal hails her extraordinary courage. In that moment, Anupama recalls Khyati tampering with her eye drops and realises the truth behind her condition.
