I am very disappointed in the way the story is unfolding... I need to vent and I shall do so here!!
Let me start by dissecting the characters:
Manjiri:
She has no role to play in this show and yet she is one of the most important character of the show. She is merely seen as a time pass whereby Kali calls her to update her with how her shitty plans are turning out, etc...! Why can't she have more of a pivotal role in this storyline. She is the strongest catalyst and performer among the casts and yet she has nothing to do in the show.
Vishwa:
He is merely a con and nothing more. He only knows how to manipulate matters to fit his own purpose. He fails to open his eyes and see who is truly good to him and his family. He is more interested in pursuing in what others tell him he wants. He lacks a mind of his own. At present he is merely repeating his behavior. Pretending to have changed, so that nothing/nobody can cloud a black eye on his lovely princess.
Yug:
He has so much scope and yet he is being used as merely a pawn in this new track. His every intention is to make Kali happy, but he knows Kali herself does not know what she truly wants. So why is he not acting upon his feelings rather than allowing Kali to pull his strings.
Kaali
I fail to understand her. She is purposely playing the dumb card constantly. Yug called her for what she is tonight : a sacrificing lamb for Vishwa so he can remain content in his own world. She has been forced into this alliance and she herself recognizes that but refuses to act upon it. She said tonight that she did not say anything to Vishwa because it was not the right time, I take it, even at her mandap it will not be the right time. Honestly, she is lifeless and has no meaning.
Gauri
What do I say about this one? She is so stupid. She does not care for anyone but herself. Kali was only useful to her when she was slavering around the princess Gauri but now that she poses a threat through no fault of her own, Gauri has taken it upon herself to destroy her life completely. Marriage is not a game and yet Gauri does not care. After all, she is the prime character that ought to be happy, because if she is not happy, then the world can potentially end. Haina?

Now let me go back to the current episode that was aired tonight: the so called sangeet.
What is up with the wedding fever? It appears to be one of the scariest disease to have fallen upon Kaala Teeka.
Tonight's episode had no consistency. Sharmila was all of a sudden all smiley and shy when we all know how much she hates her hone wale pati dev ji! Her cracking a smile when he was dancing and singing on Mehendi Laga Ke Rakha just cracked the hell out of me. Gauri's expressions made no sense whatsoever.
They could have done so much with tonight's episode. The songs used could have been used as a way of communicating b/w the parties involved. And yet the makers appeared to have made no attempt tonight. They just copied the medley of Mujhse Dosti Karoge and that was it tonight. Why can't the makers make more of an effort with this show?
Kali said to Manjiri that no one can forced her into a relationship she does not want to have. Really, Kali? You said so yourself tonight, you need to find the perfect time to tell your badke papa that you are not ready for this shaadi, but you could not do so any time soon as you were afraid to breaking his khushi. So in essence you are being coerced but because you are happy to accept it, it means you have consented right? No pressure, etc? I fail to understand why Manjiri is wasting her time in this cat and mouse game Why can't she just step up to the plate and come and sort all these nonsense out?

Kali is a wounded bird that has been caged. She will never fly out in the open air even if they open that cage door because she has conditioned herself to suffer till the day she remains on this earth. Unless Manjiri and Yug act for her, they will never get what they want. Kali is lifeless. She only talks the talk but will never walk the walk and if Yug wants to ruin his life and remain in a loveless marriage, then he can carry on pretending that Kali will one day wake up. What Yug needs to realise is that he cannot change the direction of the wind, but he can adjust his sails to reach his destination.
The characters looked great tonight, and some of them performed good in their dance etc, but alas I was annoyed that I was bursting out in laughter at what I was saying, rather than enjoying what was meant to be a good episode. I should have just stuck to reading it instead of watching it, as it killed my excitement!!
And please someone, run that Leela's mouth through a lawn mower...I dislike that woman with a passion! She is annoying! How beautiful will it be, if Kali ends up in that house as her daughter in law? Her face will be worth a look or two!😆
