Mahirah,

Aryan was indeed the worst. I cracked up as soon as he appeared...the running on the stairs and then him trying to incorporate the dance moves, oh lordy it was beyond hilarious.

Kali believes that coercion is true acceptance and as such she has happily allowed them to impose a theif ie Aryan into her life...maybe she will become his kaala teeka!😛 His thieving ways shall become more successful with her by his side! Good luck charm that she is.

Kali properly allowed it to happen so Yug can get a rude awakening into reality...for him to realise he is for Gauri only, and that she can find anyone she so pleases!😆

The copying of that medley was hideous! It was cringe-worthy! And it could have been spectacular had the makers bothered!

Khair, am done venting over yesterday! There is more to vent about today it would appear!😆

Your post is on point. I said all that I had on my mind on Twitter so wouldn't wanna repeat telecast that in here (Aint a EK serial where someone gets the same reaction thrice). I saw the Sharmila thing and ROFLed because it was ridiculous to have her that way unless it was Neelu's dream or something. They couldve justified it like that. Even today, when Aryan was molesting Kali, noone batted an eyelid..well Yug wanted to take action but the Kali who slapped her brother for mistreating a girl was merely standing there and letting his inappropriacy continue? Thats not just demeaning to her character but every woman who is watching and is just like: WTH is wrong with the plot. Why are they treating serious issues like they are just like a scratch to be bandaged and done..problem solved.

Side Note: Did you not notice when they copied an entire scene from Hasee toh Phasee?

"Gila towel pet pe rakhne se bhukh mar jaati hai.." There was no way on earth for me as a huge HTP fan to miss on that and I kinda liked the authentic one better. Even the MDK Medley song thing was so obvious, my friends even tweeted about it to the writer. And not just the songs were copied, it was everything from the dance steps to the expressions (although some of that was uncalled for and looked funny on the cast)..

Tbh I didnt watch it attentively today and from even the description my crew gave me, its better for me to stop watching than to expect logic where they are trying to recreate the old age where sacrificing animals and people was okay. The epic they are basing it on: Ramayan..well, Sita Maiya did not marry without consent. She was not compelled to join her husband on his 14 year penance. She was not asked by her husband to give any agnipariksha. Yes, Ramji did send a pregnant her away and regretted his decision later but Sita Maiya made all her decisions herself and even when she gave away Luv and Kush back to the Ayodhya kingdom and went back to Bhoomi Mata, it was because her role on Earth had ended. So making Kali do all these unethical things for the sake of her family makes her no goddess but a mere pawn in a chess game. And I will never refer to her as Sita henceforth.
