I read a news article which says that Rajat will soon be back as Chandragupta Maurya. Here is the article-

When Imagine TV's Chandragupta Maurya shut shop in 2012, speculations were rife that the show will soon be aired on Sony Entertainment Television. However, with lead actor Ashish Sharma's exit, the rumours soon died down.

Now if reliable sources are to be believed Balaji Telefilms' is planning to bring a new show on the life of Chadragupta Maurya.

Sources inform that small screen's Akbar, Rajat Tokas has been roped in to play the lead role of Chandragupta Maurya and casting for the rest of the actors will begin after Hindu festival Navratri.

Jalal: Agree 100%. You have his mental state down perfectly.

Rukaiyya: Oh Boy! Is she insecure or what. I think the reason she feels the way she does with Jodha is because she must have remembered Jalal's secret excursion into Amer and then the marriage happened with all the religious freedom that he is giving his new wife. She has put two and two together and she definitely does not like or wants to even think about what the answer might be.

Why would someone go and tell a new bride that her husband is going use and discard her?

Jalal marrying over and over again is nothing new to her, but she still sees the need to go into Jodha's room and tell her not to feel too great about herself just because Jalal married her.😕

Jodha: Here I have a slightly different opinion. Jodha, I think must have thought that once she got married to Jalal, who has tons of other wives, might just put her in some corner and then forget about her. After all this was a political marriage and they do not share anything in common at all. What she did not expect is this full frontal verbal attack by her new husband. That would make anyone jittery.

No one likes to be told that they are hated to their face with such intensity, even by people they dislike. That's why the lamenting. I do think that she felt secretly flattered that Jalal might have a soft corner for her but I am not sure if that is the reason for her complaining to Mothi.

They are in the "I hate you"- "I hate you more" stage. Very corny and predictable but super cute.

The Hamaam scene: Was hot, hotter, hottest.

I absolutely loved this one. But the pain you endure to create these masterpieces! I wish there was something I could do to take that pain away. I had hoped that the bonfires on the last thread would help and had even tried to do my bit by adding a 'samidha' or two😛 Just kidding aunty! Can't bear the inability to be of help! And do not have Anjali's hunar to do anything creative about it so just a 🤗

Hi Shyamala, gr8 analysis. Waise what I'm surprised is with Jodha's thinking - Was she never told that marriage entails physical intimacy as well - and that in the 16th century a wife was duty bound to sleep with her husband and could not deny him ?????? What did she think that just becoz Jalal had a large harem, she would not grace his bed even one time ???? I'm really amazed at her stupidity which is being cloaked in naivety.

In fact from her conversation with Ruqs, she does know that she has her conjugal duties as well and hence she was garnering support from Ruqs. And this was becoz she secretly wanted Jalal wanting her so that she could take the moral high ground and keep spurning him, calling him a Jallad who resorted to Bal to satisfy himself. And when he promised her that he wont touch her - its this aspect that he snatched away from her - the chance of being a victim and taking the morality route - which to my mind is the cause of her being bereft - she has lost the chance of bhashaaning him you see 😉😆
