Unfortunately, on reflection this news does not excite me. Rajat will once again be king, so he will have three king roles in his resume. I hope such a great actor is not remembered mockingly as the "king wala actor". Look at poor Govinda, a good actor(look at his performance in Hatya) but he will forever be remembered as the actor of vulgar comedy movies. He has been type cast and he is stuck.

In a world so full of great roles what was the need for another king role by Rajat. It is not as if Chandragupta Maurya is an awe inspiring never done before story. It was done just a few years back(on Imagine and lasted for 100 episodes). I was bored to death and made a vow never to watch any Hindi language program again. It is for this reason that I started so late on JA.

I wish to write on "fear conditioning". I think it is appropriate in the present context. I believe one of the reasons for the game Jalal played with Jodha was this desire to modify her fear response. These are the following he may have wanted to affect-
1. By bringing her in close physical proximity, without all that glitz of fine jewelry and clothes, he wanted to show her that he is just a normal flesh and blood man, not much different from her cherished Suryabhan. In that state it is easy to see, that all differences vanish and a man becomes just human, not Mughal or Rajput.

So this fear was the fear of the strange man with strange customs.

2. The other fear was of course fear of proximity. He got her close in that undressed state, so that next time he gets close to her she won't be so affected as before. After all the next time he will be fully clothed and she would have been used to seeing much more of him than visible.

Of course the romantic angle is also there and that has been explained very well by Shaymala.

Akka - looks like CGM may be the next Rajat's Project - Hope you do get well so soon so you can do magic with CGM again.

Truly speaking, this JA things has become stale for me. It did become due to treatment.

Your writing is the only positive outcome of that now. But you should rest and be ready to strike for CGM . 😆

Is there something like this also ? A very different POV. Even Script writer and CV's would not have thought through.

I feel these JA episodes are being washed like that poor cloth in Ek duje ke liye because there is no other good show.

But CGM is coming Donjas.
