I too agree with u mandy...cgm is the best option rather sitting at home or doing that sbs saga...and as u said no matter how many had played that role ...when the role played by him ...it shall be set an example whether they r haughty or naughty scenes 😉

Wish which types role example gave aunty, donjas and sabdabhalla would also be created in our tv industry

Brilliant takes aunty on these brilliant episodes.
If we forget what is to come for a while we can perfectly understand both their reactions.

Jalal is irresistibly drawn towards Jo who dares to hate him with vehemence. He can neither withdraw himself from her nor accept his being attracted when she is so openly haughty. Hence he takes every chance to come around her and declare that he hates her and will make her life miserable. ( Loosely similar to our own reaction to JA last year. We wished it were as we wanted it to be. We lamented complained, declared it was the worst ever, said we would stop watching, asserted that we hated it but we always were around watching the show and now the re-telecast too)

Jodha too had accepted that the face in water that haunted her was her destiny. But she couldn't simply climb down her high stand of hating him with all her heart. That is why though she declares that she would want him to stay away from her, she is shattered when he declares that himself. And Jalal was so effective in his declaration of hatred which was mixed with threats that unnerved her. ( Of course this explains the confusion of Jodha who is both vulnerable and strong. Not the epitome of Naari Shakti bhaashanist later on)

And MS episode - another close to Akbar portrayal. Akbar was an excellent judge of people.

MA was so perceptive of the strong currents between Jalal and Jodha. She began to sense that Jalal had begun to FEEL for a woman. Even if the feeling was of hatred it got her worried.

The hamam - Jalal and RT at their naughtiest mischievous best. Truly a symphony and detailed with the same superior quality by you. Never did a hamam-khana romance look more lovely delicate and tasteful. Such good looking leads with Jalal's expressions an icing on the cake. This scene was unmatched. Not the dozen hamam scenes later have a tenth of its magic.

Perfect, my pet. Especially the part that I have highlighted in italics.

My hands are too weary and painful for me to say more, and in any case, what can one add to perfection?
