hi folks!

its interesting to see lots of new members and sanar fans as it might be good for the forum and the show in the long run..i will introduce myself to all the new comers in this forum, i am a die hard fan of Akbar the great and have spent 50 dollars recently to order the only on line book available on him and you can well imagine who inspired me to know more about this great leader..none other than the brilliance of rajat tokas as an actor under the direction of the perfectionist director santaram verma who unfortunately had to quit due to some disagreements and since then the quality of the show is not the same!

for me the show was done with as far as Akbar is concerned when they showed him weak and crippled with their false NRs and the great love story they showed always lacked something and was never convincing enough but still majority liked the chemistry of the actors and come what may the show maintained its position..but now it has fallen flat from where it will take great deal of creativity and talent to bring it back up!...as we all know that salim anar phase is at its full swing and will get more footage than the leads of the show as they are parallel lead now but are we all enjoying it except a few here!..i would have enjoyed it if ravi as salim had the x factor and the magic which could have drawn me towards the show even more than before...

first of all he has to be at par with rajat in terms of talent and not only that he needs to exceed to be able to bring the show back to its original position as this is a team work ek ne phenki doosre ne uthaayi..here rajat has thrown the ball and has shown his brilliance to the T and mesmerized the audience with living the character of Akbar the great..now will ravi be able to catch the ball and carry the legacy and create the same magic or he will take the show down the drain with him..as of now the way the story is going akbar's character cannot take the center stage it will be salim taking the center stage as everything will revolve around him..will he be able to carry the show on his shoulders..will we ever get the pleasure to watch clash of the titans just like we did in MEA where dilip sahib and prithviraj kapoor were at their best and not to forget the beautiful madhubala as anarkali..

now cvz can you bring the magic of JA back?..can you create a magic of MEA through SA?..if yes then please carry on with the show and if not then please do not insult the epic tales of such characters that once lived!..pl feel free to share your views..thanks and my apologies for hurting or offending anyone!

amina i doubt if SV will ever come back but the show also needs good script writers, what they are showing is time and tested cliched tracks but now viewers are looking for change and not necessarily the old wine in new bottle will work!

that too and if ekta goes MEA way with good script and a strong director then there are chances of revival of the show because as per track record she went the JA movie way with some added details it worked and now if she goes the MEA movie way with added details i am sure it will work!

Going the Mughal-e-Azam way, my dearest Mandy, is easier said than done. When Ekta went the Jodhaa Akbar way with additions, she had a spectacular lead pair. As for the iconic Mughal-e-Azam, it had Dilip Kumar and Madhubala.

And this one?? "Enuff said!😉 It is a non-starter, and it is not worth wasting time discussing it.

rima thanks! i am appalled by the treatment they are giving to the show! i can understand that if ravi was a better actor than rajat then yes him getting more screen space makes sense but he needs so much improvement in his act then why is he given the 25 minutes out of the 30 minute show?..can't the directors or the makers of the show figure out whats wrong where?..ravi has been ok in few scenes, in fact i quite liked him when jalal was putting him to sleep and he was acting like a little kid..now two areas need to be worked upon..first of all jalal has to look his age, now he looks younger than the son and we as viewers cannot connect to it..can't the director see that?..and secondly ravi has many weak spots when it comes to acting..can't he be given something that he can do with ease and then once he is comfortable and confident with his role then maybe give him some challenging scenes that he might fit into!

my dearest lovely shyamala, my god you remind me of asha parekh😳..i am so glad to see you here!..shyamla there are quite a few weak points in the show at the moment..first of all the son is looking older than the father..although rajat is trying hard to look older with his voice modulation but he still looks so young and i think the director should look into it and do something about it..then this guy ravi as salim should be given few scenes that he can do with ease rather than giving him challenging ones and making him hog the whole screen space..then the character of anarkali needs to be softened..she looks more like jhansi ki rani than a hair dresser..this type of avatar suited jodha initially because she was a princess but not a hair dresser who does not know how to behave with the royals..and that looks ott and foolish..and why is she shown as a hair dresser why not a dancer..shyamla..i do not know what are the creatives thinking, i think they do not care about the show anymore!
