if there are good script writers then they can create magic in no time but what shocks me is where did the whole bunch of talent go? are they busy writing new shows and films and no one is bothered about JA!

Mandy dearest,

First of all, thanks for the morale booster about my looks!

Next, I agree completely with your last sentence, except that I do not know why that is so. See, Jodha Akbar was prime TV property and it must have been raking in the moolah. Now, 2 of
Ekta's new shows, each of which I watched for 2 weeks before dumping it, Ajeeb dastaan hai yeh and Itna karo na mujhse pyaar, with well known actors in the cast -Ronit Roy in the latter- seem to have crashed and burned. The latter had only 1.9 TRP last week, whereas even Ronit's tired old Adaalat had 2.5!

Perhaps there are other new ones from their stable that have done very well. I do not know as I watch very few serials. But I have not heard of any major hits from Balaji last year. So it is not that Balaji has had huge successes with their new shows, and can afford to neglect their old hit serial.

Given this, why do they seem hellbent on sinking their prime product? A great mystery.

As for the prospects of the Salim-Anarkali track, I rate them very low, hairdresser or no hairdresser. That girl is stuck on badmouthing Shehzaade and Shahenshah like an LP stuck in the wrong place. And I have serious doubts about any major improvement in this Salim. So, I am soon going to be reduced to fast forwarding the "young love" segments and watching only the "old shoe love" parts. 😉

Incidentally, I learnt today that only the first few minutes of the episode and the last few minutes count for the TRPs. No wonder the Jalal-Jodha scenes are pasted in at the beginning and the end, especially the precap!😉😉

my dearest lovely shyamala, my god you remind me of asha parekh😳..i am so glad to see you here!..shyamla there quite a few weak points in the show at the moment..first of all the son is looking older than the father..although rajat is trying hard to look older with his voice modulation but he still looks so young and i think the director should look into it and do something about it..then this guy ravi as salim should be given few scenes that he can do with ease rather than giving him challenging ones and making him hog the whole screen space..then the character of anarkali needs to be softened..she looks more like jhansi ki rani than a hair dresser..this type of avatar suited jodha initially because she was a princess but not a hair dresser who does not know how to behave with the royals..and that looks ott and foolish..and why is she shown as a hair dresser why not a dancer..shyamla..i do not know what are the creatives thinking, i think they do not care about the show anymore!

Going the Mughal-e-Azam way, my dearest Mandy, is easier said than done. When Ekta went the Jodhaa Akbar way with additions, she had a spectacular lead pair. As for the iconic Mughal-e-Azam, it had Dilip Kumar and Madhubala.

And this one?? "Enuff said!😉 It is a non-starter, and it is not worth wasting time discussing it.

shyamala exactly! now what is the mystery behind such degradation?..this was ekta's dream project..is it because she wanted to shut it down after certain time and zee did not let it happen but then why would ekta want to shut down a show that is doing so well..or is it that she is treating this show just like her other hit shows that are magnificent in the beginning and then they sort of die down towards the end but then this is no ordinary show..this is a historical where the story is ready made all they have to do is come up with a good script and execute the story!..what i have heard about ekta's PH is that she gives her best to a new serial in the beginning once the serial is a hit and has its loyal viewers then that best creative team moves towards another serial...and the already started serial when shows signs of failing she then brings the original team back to help it out..now this is her strategy, and that is why such fall in quality and such fall in selection of the new cast..if salim was such an important character why such a mediocre actor and that also occupying 90% of the screen space!

yes right now i think they cannot focus majorly on ravi
they need to give him enough time to settle down and get the acting perfect
in the mean time i think they can focus on akdha maan bai and maan singh

rima they need to see the caliber of the actors and write the scenes accordingly..ravi seems to be scared and not confident in most of the scenes especially when he has to emote through his eyes, either the close up angle needs to be adjusted or some good work is needed on editing such scenes where he looks expressionless and clueless..!

Mandy, my advice ti EK and Zee for free is to close the show and move on - and let everyone get a respite - the cast, crew and most of all the audience !!!

Mandy, you still watching the show.. Me stopped it completely, not at all interested in SA track.. I still can't understand why CVS jumped to SA leaving AKDHA tracks in the middle, they can show Sujamal, MAC, Abul mali death with Mirza turned negative after Maha chuchak and then bring Salim track would have been better...

Even if they bring also why can't CVS bring a new comers a teenagers who will suit much more to SA track.. Sorry looking at the pics SA are looking older will surely say now also AKDHA rock with their chemistry..I must say CVS are using Parijat popularity only, but couldn't write a sensible track for SA, how can anarkali hate Salim even if not knowing ? that too she is not even a dancer but hair designer ?😕 From where these CVS get these ideas..😲

JA is sinking ship with pathetic writing even a 10 year kid can write a better script, also actors couldn't deliver... I must say JA has perfect cast , good looking pair with Great chemistry with wonderful acting, Great dialogues, good direction, even side characters are much better before now I don't see any good dialogues nor a story...

Hoping Parijat come out of the show, they deserve much better serial being a side actors for 2 to 3 min scene...😭

Hello,
Well u have well written that the show has fallen after the leaving of santramji, today I am thinking the same, the way the story was that time, the dialongs, script clothes, direction was very much gud, now we r missing this. It resembles the royality of that time. But now the show is looking a crap. The show is team effort, gf anythong missses, itlooks incomplete

I think now SA track will bring shame to JA, u know the fact is that, end defines everything, the story of salim is that at end he got sheer off, and got enticement under nur jahah. That time nor his wife man bai, jagat nor his mother MUZ were there o guide him. He was completely broken that time and started drinking more, his son khurram has betrayed him and killed his elder son, he was also burning in guilt that he had snached khusrao right and blinded him. Only because of thisz he suffered a lot.
Nur jahah was taking full opportuinity off this situation and beacme salims fav. It is very wrong to say that he was under her influence before, because he hasn't given a stong position to his brother before, only that time , he make mansabdaar to him. Only after that nur jahah got authority to issue rights.

Nur jahah, was a very clever, selfish and power greedy person. Only because of her Salim got defame, u know what u do in end it makes ur image like that only.
