Avika Gor hits back at trolls slamming her wedding outfit: 'People say I did it for the money…'

Avika Gor, celebrated for her role in Balika Vadhu, recently married Milind Chandwani on the reality show "Pati Patni Aur Panga." Although many fans joyfully celebrated, some criticized her wedding, particularly her attire. In an interview with News18 Showsha, Avika and Milind addressed and dismissed the criticism, clarifying their choices and setting the record straight.

Avika on getting married on TV

Avika shared that she initiated the idea of getting married on television. "When I told Milind, he said that my intentions were right, but people will criticise and say I did it for the money. At the end of the day, I knew my intentions were right, and he agreed—and that's what matters. So, karo jise troll karna hai, karo," she said.

Milind on critics

Addressing critics of their choices, Milind stated, "Nowadays, tell me a wedding where there aren't 50 photographers and people making reels—everyone is doing it. The difference is that she did it with better intentions."

Trolling over outfit

Avika also faced criticism for her wedding look. Addressing the trolling, she clarified, "Everything looked so perfect, so that's what they'll focus on. They just wanted this topic. Look, they don't care, they just want to say something negative. But if it had been about Milind's look, I might have felt a little bad, because I was the one who decided it. But I was very happy about how I was looking, and because I was confident, I didn't care."

Milind’s response

Milind responded strongly, stating he was unconcerned with external opinions, as Avika looked stunning to him. "Seeing Avika's look, I even cried, not once but thrice. And if I feel like that, I don't give two rats' asses about what people think. You can keep your opinion to yourself, but we are very happy."
