They are just emphasizing Jalal's emotions, what say about showing Jodha's feelings?
CVs, this time you've disgruntled me.

Thanks so much ... My only request is if they show Jodha's emotions ... It is consistent! Or else, no matter how well Paridhi acts ... It comes across as shallow as It contradicts what she said before.

ZEE must take the initiative here, they must provide good new talent if the PH is caught in inertia. The show seems rudderless at the moment, long distance remote control by Ekta won't work here.

I wish the movies of Ekta get released soon so that she takes a hands-on approach to the happenings of her show.

Cannot agree more!

Though I am not sure Ekta Kapoor will solve the problem.

the biggest failure of jodha's characterization is that maximum wants to witness jalal's tears and pain due to separation😕

no one is interested in watching jodha's reaction and pain
she too loves jalal
she will also shed tears and will go through same pain
so why no one is concerned about her

that shows the butchering of her character😭

Lack of dedicating time to Jodha's feelings is one thing ...

But, if you look at it, if Jalal had his outburst on Friday ... Jodha had her letter
If Jalal was talking to her portrait, she was talking leaning on the tree

You just can't feel Jodha's emotions as much due to the contradictions- one day she says I love you, the next I don't; one day she says I am at fault and then next you ruined our love; one day she says I am hurt and the other I left only because you asked me to

This is the best post on Jodha of this track I've read so far ! True, Jodha choose not to trust him even before the vachan, if Moti initially stopped Jodha from revealing the truth to Jalal then MA was always there to pollute his mind but he chose to trust her till the last moment. I wanted a similar kind of firmness in Jodha, she now looks prejudiced and and consistently inconsistent. It is fine with the side characters, they don't matter much but when a lead's character is losing its charm then there is no hope for a balanced love story. The so called epic love story will be a joke if only one of them keeps on crying, repenting, accusing the situation and themselves. If ultimately Jodha is going to admit her faults then what was the purpose of that antaraatma scene and the self-contradictory letter ? It will only show that she could connect the dots and realise her faults only after making him realise his gravious unintentional mistake. Why don't they show Jodha's true innermost feelings and her self assessment, it will help to make her character more mature and balanced. Hope there is some progress in this after this track, one month of this torture is now unbearable and it leaves me fuming when I see no balance at all.

Thanks so much! Love the last sentence - couldn't have said it better!

I am sick of folks misinterpreting my issues with what Jodha did as me not understanding her- she is contradicting herself!

Thanks! Of course, I read that! It is a strong case for my first question on why Jodha did not trust Jalal if she expected the same!

u know there is some biasness in showing individual charactervn its uncalled for !!
with jalal's character every thing had ben shaped , mamy introspection had been done while butchering his character also in btw but regarding her characer has been just smashed ...from the begginning of her marriage she had been the centre of criticism just bcz her charcter has not till been able to take shape..i dont know whether to like or not ,whether to sympathise with her or not !! here every divergent post has some weight in it...its difficult to say who's at more fault but the i concluded both r at fault puttin the blame on one person means escaping or going the esy route way !!

The Jodha I love is - brave, beautiful, honest, who can look Jalal in the eye and tell him when he is wrong, who is never afraid of fighting for her rights and others, who is compassionate and lovely.

I still remember the fearlessness in her eyes when Jalal told her that there is no who can save her from him,' though she'd have been afraid but she didn't let it show. The warmth with which she wrote that poem for Jalal-Ruq's baby, the way she used to behave with Jalal, there is drastic change in her behavior towards Jalal since tiger-attack.

In the beginning Jo never used SKLL or was disgusted whenever Jalal was close to her but since tiger attack everything changed. But then we got this same Jodha back at the time of Ben track and as the lovely village belle Kajri. Since Ben track Jodha started trying to understand Jalal, she never expected any apologize when she woke up from the death bed; all she wanted to know was what Jalal did for her and how he took care of her. 😳

I want this Jodha back, the compassionate Jodha not this Jodha who put the blame on Jalal and walks away. I can't relate to her, I want Jodha to miss jalal, miss what she had with him. I understand that she left Agra because she was hurt, because now her world is Jalal and when he himself misbehaved then what she'd have done anyway but the important thing here is what leads him to misbehave with her was her silence. Both are at fault and putting all the blame on Jalal is not right.

Jodha's character was butchered at the time of tiger attack and now again its happening, sometimes I wonder whether the actual writer of Jodha left when the 90 people quit the show?, I guess so. I don't want cvs to drag a track at the cost of the lead characters.

Hope they'll do something to restore her characterization.

One more thing, we have every right to give daanth to the person we love, after all itna haq toh hota hai. So if Im not standing up for Jodha this time it is because I don't know how to and if I'm criticizing it is only because I care about her so much that it feels bad to see her character being butchered like this. So no need to label someone as a "Jalal fan" or anything as in the end we are Jodha Akbar fan...At least I am😳

And Divya only yesterday I gave you the title of Maillika-e-Top5 and here you want to give up writing your Top 5 post...Not done😡

One very interesting point to note about Jodha is that her sense of identity comes from being a Rajvanshi - And all throughout one can see this bias of being a Rajvanshi in her characterization as well as those of all others - Now this is very interesting, since for all individuals identity is their very life - but unfortunately, when a person takes this to extremes, it comes across as ego, lack of empathy and lack of sensitivity, which has happened with the characterization of Jodha here - The only time Jodha identifies herself as a Mughal khandaan ki Begum is in the Shivani track - but then she is made to revert to her old form.

And if one looks at TE - yes he too takes his identity as a descendent of Timur and as a Mughal in a strong manner - but in him this is not shown to be in extreme - he is shown as capable of accepting others identities as equal to his own - and this is where his humility, empathy and sensitivity spring from - He is capable of accepting all as humans with the ability of making mistakes as well as the capacity for great acts.

This difference between the two characterizations makes it even more difficult to connect with Jodha - her righteousness comes across as self - righteousness and she herself comes across as biased, egoistic and proud - which is very very bad characterization by the writers - The CVs and EK really need to look hard at the Jodha that they have penned and make the necessary changes to make her more human and humane - ah but I do believe that the Zee people told someone who had called them up that 'Jodha is not from this world' - so maybe this is their way of creating an alien character!!!!!

BTW to all who are reading this - this comment is for the makers and their lack of insight in characterizations - it has nothing to do with the actors, the real characters, any religion or community or gender. Hence it is requested that this may be read in the spirit in which it is written.
