Jalal's smile in the court about the attack during boat ride said it all. The thought of Jodha protecting him against Ben, her stubbornness inspite of being proven that Ben is not poisonous brings the smile. I wish you also thought about why you let Jodha off the hook on every mistake she makes. He knows that Jodha is not doing this all out of jealousy anymore. He knows that she is doing it to protect him. Does he still not believe that Jodha might be right about Ben. Yes, he already tested Ben and the results were negative. I wonder if he is more busy analyzing Jodha's feelings than worrying about Ben's reality. He is enjoying the fact that Jodha fearlessly not thinking of any consequences is trying to protect him.
I was happy to see Hamida wanting to go and talk to Ben about her reality. I also liked Salima's response to it. Hamida finally knows that his grandson Salim is not far away after all. Salima's words that Jodha is in love must have sounded like Amrith to Hamida. Poor soul has also waited for so long like all of us. Oh Hamida, you have to wait some more time like all of us - CVs have few more tracks to stretch before love confession happens. Lets be happy that atleast they are very close to realizing their feelings for each other. I was comparing Salima today with Ruqu. Earlier we saw a scene where Ruqu sends Jodha away in an undignified way out of jealousy. Here Salima was trying to get Jodha and Jalal closer out of love. She wants Jodha to get all the credit for saving Jalal's life just like CVs. The difference between Salima and Ruqu is that one wants to be the begum and the other does not. I felt for the first time today that both Jodha and Ruqu reacted more like begums. It is very normal for a wife to feel insecure when the husband is giving more importance to another woman. Specially when the relationship is not yet strong between the husband and wife. The sad part is that Ruqu is still insecure after so many years of marriage. Agreed that part of it is because of a man having so many wives, but the other reason is because of danger to her khaas audha. I was happy though that she finally accepted openly that Jodha is special to Jalal. She knew it somewhere in her zehen that Jodha is special, but finally accepted it today. MA used that opportunity really well. She openly declares lets be together against Jodha. MA is happy that now she will have Ruqu always in her camp that is agaisnt Jodha. The poor MA and Ruqu do not realize that Jalal is now-a-days smiling at Jodha's naadaniyan, he enjoys the mistakes she is making for him. You two are not going to be able to influence Jalal against Jodha for long..
Jalal openly challenges Jodha about the attack. She was fogging Jalal's stare and questions. Ruqu helps her evade those questions by kicking her out. Jodha for the first time was NOT happy with being denied the adhikar of a begum. Taaliyan and Seetiyan, as this is a huge progress! Jodha you are on a roll, I have been bowled over by the new avtaar of yours and so is my Jalal. I was thinking about the tel malaaish scene after the tasneem track. She goes out and lets Ruqu spend time with Jalal. After that she also worries if Ruqu might have felt bad about her doing tel maalish. That Jodha is such an old story. She now is very unhappy that Ruqu denied her the opportunity of pati-seva. The thing that annoyed her even more was that Jalal did not do anything about it. Jalal was busy enjoying Ruqu's jealousy and temper. He knows Ruqu well and hence does not mind anything. But, buddy while you were doing all that you missed out an opportunity of life time. You did not see how your Jodha did not like it one bit! She had the mini durga avtaar for Ruqu! Its a matter of time before Jodha fights for her wifely rights. Also, its not very far off when Jalal will not like Ruqu putting Jodha down. Eventually when Ruqu understands that Jalal's heart belongs to Jodha, she will step away and be happy for him. But, she has a very tough journey ahead before that realization happens..
Jodha finally put a word to her feelings. You see it is only 'chinta' for Jalal. Its again a huge progress. In Amer it was 'bapusa ki chinta and prem' when Jodha asked Jalal to not fight against MP. Later after bodyheat track, it was 'Jalal ache hai to hume bhi unke saath aur ache se pesh aana chaiye'. Oh Jodha, use any words or excuses to describe your feelings. We all know that you are in love. Or, as Moti pointed it out wonderfully that 'dono ek hi pyaar ke teer se ghayal hai'. I almost got a heart attack today when Jodha said ' Bhale hi woh humse krodhit hai, hum to nahin hai'. It took me a while to get over that line.😉
JaSa team are novice and its going to be hard standing against the experienced Ben. But as Jodha said, 'unlikhit baat hai ki achai ki jeet hamshe hoti hai burai pe'. They have a huge clue now that the well were Ben attempted suicide is poisoned. Its good that Salima knows as she will let Hamida know about it. More and more people are getting on Jodha's side. She needs this support system as right now her Jalal is not completely on her side.
Precap: AK is fooling around with Ben, don't feel he knows her reality. AK is so consistent with his taste for woman, it is always baandis. As Ben is a khaas bandi of Jalal, he is even more attracted to her. BTW, I felt AK and Ben make a very good couple.
