part 3A grand celebration was organised by the royal family of amer for their newest member,RAJKUMARI JODHA.
the palace had been decorated like a bride on her wedding day,strings of genda's,sunflowers and roses were hung from the terrace all the way to the entrance of the palace...the doorways were decorated with diyas and rangoli being made by the women of the royal family itself...elephants were placed along the entrance to throw itra on the guests...musicians were placed on the balconies of the palace to play melodious music and to liven up the atmosphere...
the heads of all the rajput families had been invited to be a part of this grand celebration..bharmal and his family had send invites as far as south to his inlaws and their relatives as well...he had specially invited humayun's extended family as well...today was a big day for both bharmal and humayun that would not only strengthen their friendship but also the fate of hindustan in the coming future..
shaguni bai was a special guest in todays function.
mainavati and hamida were lovingly getting JODHA ready for the function...their baby was already showing signs of being fussy when it comes to clothes,whatever they put on jodha was instantly rejected by her...she would start howling loudly and not stop unless mainavati removed her dress.
MN-ab hum kya karein hamida,hamari beti ko toh koi cheez pasand hi nahi aati..
HB-baap re abhi se yeh tevar hain jodha ke maina,badi hoke toh pata nahi kya karegi hamari beti..
MN-haan,jalal ka toh naak main dum hi kar degi.
both mainavati and hamida started laughing..jalal entered then and came and sat close to jodha...
JALAL-ammijaan,jodha abhi tak tayaar kyun nahi hui...hum sab ko jashn main jana hai na.
HB-beta jodha ko koi bhi poshak pasand hi nahi aa rahi,ab hum kya karein..
jalal looks around for sometime and goes and gets a beautiful red dress for jodha..
MN-arey yeh kahan se mili aapko,yeh toh hum bhool hi gaye thee.
JALAL-badi ammi aap jodha ko yeh pehnaeye na,yeh rang humein behad pasand hai aur in par kitna accha lagega..aap dekhna inhe bhi bahut pasand aaega yeh.
mainavati took the dress from jalal and tried to get jodha into it...not so surprising jodha again started howling to get it off...jalal went to sit next to her,took her hands in his...instantly jodha quietened..
JALAL-rajkumari,yeh rang aap par bahut accha lagta hai,aap yehi pehniye na,bilkul pari lagengi aap..aur hum toh shehzade lagte hi hain...kya aap hamare samne acchi nahi lagna cahengi...
jodha was quietly listening to jalal..mainavati tried to get her into the red outfit again and finally jodha willigly got into jalal's favourite color...
HB-dekha maina,kaise hamare bete ne hamari beti ko mana liye...ab toh aaisa hi hoga,jodha toh jalal ki baat manegi,haina jodha..
jodha started giggling and throwing her hands and legs in the air as if stating that she also agrees to the said statement...
hamida,mainavati took both the children and went to attend the function.
bharmal had been standing with humayun to welcome all the guests,first came all the heads of the rajput royal families,they greeted bharmal very politely but kind of ignored humayun...they had never understod why a rajvanshi like bharmal mixed around with a mughal in the first place...they had never liked his friendship with humayun but could not voice their thought out loud,bcoz they knew that bharmal would not tolerate it..they had no idea what their friendship meant for them but would get to know it very soon.
after all the rajvanshis had come,bharmal then greeted humayuns extended family who had been invited on bharmal's insistence...not that humayun did not care for his family ,but he knew that they were not very fond of bharmal so he had been not to keen on inviting them,they inturn had only come to witness how the rajvanshis lived,their standard and social standing so that later on they could make fun of them,they were hoping that bharmal or his family would make some mistake in their swagat satkaar and that would anger humayun and maybe he would break his friendship with bharmal...
none of the rajvanshi's or mughals knew that they were about to witness history in the making..
bharmal and humayun entered the function hall and took their seats side by side...that was a huge blow to bharmal's family...being friendly is a different thing but giving an equal place to a mughal that too in ur own kingdom was not acceptable to them,even the mughal's were shocked but pleasantly,they thought now it will be easy to capture and rule amer once and for all...before any one could say anything bharmal stood up and addressed the gathering...
RB-hum jante hain ki aap sab ko aashcharya ho raha hoga ki aaj yahan amer ke raja ke saath ek mughal shehenshah kyun baithen hain woh bhi hamari barabari main...hum aapko batana cahte hain ki yeh jashn keval humne hi nahi balki humne aur shehenshah humayun ne mil kar aayujit kiya hai,aur iss vajah se aaj hum dono ek barabari ke sthan par baithe hain,isse yeh bilkul na samjha jaye ji hamare dost hamare rajya hadapna cahte hain...yeh hamara mann tha ki woh hamare saath baithein...aur iski dusri vajah aapsab ko bahut jald pata chal jayegi...tab tak aap sab is jashn ka aanand uthaeye...
dancers from all over rajputana were called to show their talent ,singers were also invited...one group showed acrobatia,while another simple and tradional folk dances...The Gowari dance,The Ghoomer dance,TheTehratali dance,The Drum dance,The Fire dance,The Chari dance,The Katputli dance,The Kalbeliya dance,The Gair dance,The Bhawai dance were all part of this spectacular event...some performances were just by men and some by just women but it was not possible to tell which one was better than the rest...the women wore tradional mirror worked ghaghra choli while the men sported salvars and achkans...melodious music from sarangis,sehnai's,ghunroos and ektaras filled the atmosphere around them...along with dhol's and nagaras...amist all this bharmal and humayun got up to make an announcement...
RB-aap sab ka yahan upasthit hone ka bahut bahut dhanyavad...aaj hamare liye bahut bada din hai kyunki aaj hum aap sab ko hamari beti se milvana cahte hain,RAJKUMARI JODHA.
mainavati came and handed over jodha to bharmal..
RB-itne saalon baad humein itni khushi mili hai,parantu hamari jodha ne aate hi humein ek aur khushi bhi dedi...
by now humayun had called jalal to come and stand by him...jalal came and held his fathers hand and stood between him and his bade abbu...
RB-yeh hain shehzade jalalludin mahammad,hamare jigri dost humayun ke bete...yeh aane wale waqt ke shehenshah hain aur humenin yeh faisla liya hai ki hum inhe har tarike se apna beta banaenge...
BHARMAL'S FAMILY-aap kehna kya cahte hain maharaj,khul ke bataeye.
RB-aap sab ko toh yeh gyaat hai ki shehenshah humayun na hi hamare sabse acche mitr hain parantu hamare jeevan main inka sthan bahut uncha hain...humein aur inhone milkar yeh faisla liya hai ki aaj se yeh sirf hamare dost hi nahi rahenge...
all were confused,some thought that bharmal was going to offer humayun his kingdom and some thought that humayun was taking undue advantage of his friendship with bharmal...
RB-humein aapsab ko batate hue bahut prasanta ho rahai hai ki shehenshah humayun aur humne is dosti ko rishtedaari main badalne ka soch liya hai..
everyone present their gasped...how was this possible...bharmal did not have a sister and people knew that humayun had taken an oath to have only one wife bcoz he loved his wife very much...then how was this even possible..
