jodha and her brothers can't talk to any one and meet any one so how they will prove themselves innocent. And jallal is not at all trying to know who is involved in this, it seems like he is waiting for the 10 days to complete so that he can take revenge on jodha and her brothers

though this track is dragged but I am really liking the mystry track as it is gonna show the astuteness of jalal, how he finds out the culprit who apparently has not left any trace behind, how he clears the cobweb of conspiracy and next how he manages to appease jodha, all are going to be a treat..:-)

That is just what I cannot digest, Rose. Not just Jodha, but the other 4 as well stand around like dummies. What can an already vengeful Jalal conclude from that but that they do not even have the conviction to protest their innocence?

Why, in Jodha's place, I would have looked Jalal calmly in the eye, and said Well, Shahenshah, I am a daughter of Amer and of Rajputana and I do not fear death, even by burning. It would be no different from our ritual of jauhar.

But I worry about you, Shahenshah. Some day soon you will find out, after you have executed your sentence, that we are all innocent. From that day onwards, you will never be able to sleep in peace.

That would be it, and he would be made to think. But she does no such thing. I think she is expecting Kanha to turn up to save her a la Draupadi. But she forgets that this is the kaliyug!

I think the truth can now emerge only thru some timely eavesdropping. Let us see.

Good Post 😊

Why didn't she scream 'I have done nothing wrong' instead of 'why are you doing this to me?'
She hasn't denied the charges infront of Jalal.. Why?

Wow Shyamala aunty...I was so excited to watch your reply here...and what a reply it was...lol...

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE send this message to the CVs right now aka Jodha's reply...can we tweet them...message them somehow...

This is precisely the tone in which Maan Singh had replied to Jalal - thereafter which Jalal had become impressed with the lad...Something similar could have been said of Birbal in his future years too...
I think Jalal had a soft corner for witty-fearless-straightforward minds...😊

😊 apt title for today's episode!

but i am losing patience, this track is going way too slowly and all the anger and hatred is directed towards Jodha! Yesterday, Jalal was in high pitch tone, not willing to listen to anyone ...today he has cooled a bit but has gotten into a sadistic sarcastic tone! He made sure not to leave any opportunity to humiliate and insult Jodha and her family!
You're right...though somewhere I prefer the sadism to the high-pitchism...🤔..just makes him appear more intelligent that's all..

I hope the drama doesn't stick to the courtroom, i want to see MA doing her private investigation on finding the culprit! She definitely wasn't pleased to know there is someone out there much smarter and cunning than her. She is bound to find out the person after all it's an issue of her ego!
I think EVERYONE wants SOMEONE to start something at least by tomorrow...this is possibly a lot of drama for a murder mystery with little action...I've tried defending the track and am ready to wait till tomorrow ...Monday the same thing continues and I'll have to join the 'Give us the culprit & solve this mystery' gang! 😆

My hopes are on Ruqaiya...I want her to either do something herself or show some perspective to Jalal! How is it that someone so easily managed to poison the kesar...what guarantee is it that the poison could not be added in their food or drinks! What are the preventive measures taken!
General preventive measures are that kings/queens had designated food-tasters...they have shown them in the serial too...

Jodha needs to tackle this matter practically, she needs to prove herself... and her brothers innocent! What evidence is she gathering / hunting for???...it is silly if she thinks staring into the eyes of Jalal will make it any easier for her. Least she can do is speak in her defense...her silence is making Jalal believe she is guilty!
This I believe too...I mean Jodha is under house-arrest and solitary confinement...she cannot physically do anything...but, I wish Maan Singh would investigate...also, Jodha is a bit too mum for her own good...a few more protests would do her some good me thinks...especially seeing how fiery she is otherwise...
If Ekta's 1 day = 2/3 episodes...these 10 days will take almost a month!😔...😳
That I wouldn't think...Generally the creatives have been very very fast with this serial...so I hope/think this mystery would be solved by next week😃

her ego aunty, her mighty ego that is not letting her speak with calm and dignity, whenever she opens her mouth she is just about to spew venom on jalal and in turn this makes jalal more angry and perturbed .. oh god,she should calm down first before jalal comes into sense..

Well,Lashy, I have no idea how to tweet or otherwise communicate this suggestion to the CVs, but I am sure you would know how to do it, so why don't you go ahead and do it? I do not think they will use it, for they must have shot those scenes already, but no harm in trying!

Hi Lashy,

Nice post. As you know...I've never liked Jalal..I think the acting is amazing, but when it comes to the character I'm not a fan...maybe I was put off in the beginning episodes when he was being cruel, I'm not exactly sure, but I definitely have a bias when it comes to Jalal's actions...

With that being said, I have started to see from Shyamala Aunty's perspective the comparison of other Kings, Emperor's, etc...to our dear Jalal.

Are his actions so OTT...as much as I don't like the portrayal of his character, especially in this current track, it is hard for me to say that he is unlike the typical norm of rulers of his time.

What the main issue for me is, the treatment of a wife...

We can only read about history, and in my readings I have not yet come across a ruler who subjected his wife to a trial before his entire court. Could it and did it happen somewhere , somehow...I'm sure it has, but even if it was common in that era for a wife of the Shenshah to be tried before all in the royal court, I don't find this behavior acceptable.

How is it that woman are kept sheltered, have to observe Pardah, where a gungat..etc...etc...but yet in this moment in time, it is okay for him to treat her rudely, speak to her disrespectfully before all and sundry???

When Jodha was caught in the body of water with Rahim, he lectured her about observing the rules and her station as his wife...

So is it appropriate for her to be presented before the court in this manner. I think not?

He did this once with Ruqaiya as well...the old Ruq's whom we all seem to have liked a lot better...but it was she that said to him, when you speak to me in that manner before everyone, you give them an opportunity to speak out against us, against me and i wish next time for you to speak to me privately.

There have been other hints since the beginning of this show, that Jalal is immature...yes he has had his moments of playing the siyasi game adn coming out on top...but this track for all its worth only shows me a young, selfish, crude young man who with all of his teachings from BK, knows nothing of how to deal with a situation when it becomes personal.

And this is the case in life as well...its very easy for one to give advice, lecture and behave properly and even make great and wise decisions when there is no emotional involvement. BUT, the mark of a great person is when something hits close to home, is so emotional where it is overwhelming the senses and even then, can clear the fog adn think in a rational way as to come to the best decision possible.

This is hard for everyone...I guess I just had better expectations from Jalal, whom has been called Akbar the Great...I don't see the greatness in any of his actions up to now...hopefully I will be proven wrong with time.

Sonya
