Scarlet giving tribute to Mary com
Vivi nai patriotic song kiys

But wht the hell mohit, aashish and shamita doing?
Nautanki is bollywood part not authentic Indian dance form plus tht song selection mohit for this day sucks
Shamita ka toh pic still hi ajeeb hai
Aashish ka toh kuch samajh hi nhi aa rha

As for song I really didn't liked sanaya song though waise I like baby doll song but I m excited to c her mujra

BW style is a well recognized dance form ...even international dance shows have contestants performing on BW style!

You cant demean BW style by calling it nautanki .

Nah its more like JDJ 8 is a confused place with some doing indian forms while other contestants seem to be giving dance tributes to Indian stars. Scarlett, VD, even Ashish dont seem to be doing indian forms. One of them even got a perfect score.

So independence day or Indian dance forms? Or a mashup of both?

I really don't like this season jhalak creative heads. I don't knw wht they r trying to do
Confusing themselves and ppl around here. I think it's mash up.. Like anything related to independence day

Theme was to perform on Indian dance forms... and thats what many are doing... Ashish and Scarlett i guess are doing BW form ...

i never called anyone cheap. 😕

so quoting your words here "I guess giving tribute to various dance forms of India is patriotism enough! "

So this means all are doing some sort of tribute to India right? Indian dances forms or acts on famous Indian stars?

So u cant say its a theme on Indian dance forms anymore. Its more like patriotic theme.

In that sense, dance forms like tapori dont seem to sit well doesnt it? Or even the choice of songs?

do u belong to India
I m saying uss dance form ko nautanki kehte hai.. Me not demeaning it.. I m from UP for God sake so I knw usko kya kahte hai and tht song lyrics r demeaning on this occasion listen to tht bhojpuri song 1st and iske alawa bahut decent bhojpuri song hai

And BW is not authentic Indian dance form
Kathak
Bharatnatyam
Bhangra
Dandiya
Garba
Mujra
Bihu
are authentic Indian dance form

it was not for you ... there are many who are using that word ...

The theme was made in India with subhreet, shamita and sanaya shown doing classical dance ...

And thats what i am saying, people have interpreted the theme in their own way ...and we should respect that and wait for the episode to air

I have seen contestants on International dance shows doing BW style ... I dont know what else is needed to give it the authentication ... even if it is not given any international recognition, still it is something which exist in India ...
I have no problem with contestants doing cheap songs or patriotic songs ..so I am out of discussion ...

then dont quote me with cheap. pls tell them directly, thank you.😊

@bold: as for, the promo it was with subreet, shamita n sanaya. Not scarlett.

& theme is essentially made in india due to independence special.

from previous pages i noticed people saying its the theme on indian dance forms. this one i DISAGREE with. its not exclusively for indian dance forms. its their interpretation. open for all cos its about indian stars, indian dance forms or use of patriotic songs.

& still i stick to my point, some dance forms such as tapori and choice of songs like baby doll dont exactly highlight the whole INDIA-ness to the episode.

but who cares no whatever what we argue, creative heads of JDJ and judges are ladoos givers anyday. Esp when stars come to their show. 🥱

I have no problem wid ppl doing bollywood too but ya i think song selection iss week soch samajh k lena chahiye tha.. In fact read all my comments maine cheap nahi bola but plz do listen to tht lagaave tu lipstick song 1st and then do tell me if it was apt for independence day special.. Bhojpuri or nautanki as it is said here dikhana hai toh dikhao but trust me aur bhi songs hai

by god , you aren't getting the point at all .Its not about that there is some problem with Baby doll or lagawe lipistic...both are very popular songs and both have been performed million times and nobody raised voice .Its okay to perform on item numbers . . But its our independence day , and they are promoting jhalak giving tribute to my country . And then using item numbers to give trubute ...is desh mein itne ache gaane hain but certain choreographers choosed this for a day like independence day . And as an Indian I am truly disappointed . That's all what tm is trying to say from post 1 . We are not here to put anyone down , please try and understand .
