I felt the performance deserved 30. They brought out the rishta bit quite beautifully- there were simple scenes of daily life (eating, harassing, naughty behavior) and all aspects of the beautiful mother child relationship- sometimes naughty, immensely caring, coupled with some pampering, strictness(Shampa tries to scare him by pretending to hit him) and at the same time blissful, timeless, immortal love, a sense of completion and security if you have your mom with you and the nostalgia if you don't.

About the dance bit, I think they used the song quite well and used the dance to bring out the nostalgia and feelings, especially in the later half of the song. So yes, there was dance, but there were also little acts (to bring out the simple everyday scenes of daily life), there was emotion and there were perfect expressions that were required for a performance like this one. According to me, the balance was well maintained. But most importantly the dance had the ability to touch you by its simplicity and the revelation of the basic fact that no matter how much you prosper, you will be incomplete without your Mom, who will never stop caring for you even when she is not with you.

So according to me, the performance was worth 30.

Sushant and Shampa deserved a 30 for their performance. It was well choreographed and beautifully portrayed a relationship between a mother and son. Add to that the emotional aspect of the performance which was very dear to Sushant since he lost his mother. Sushant and Shampa have been consistent, week after week they have performed well and have drawn in the viewers with their performances. They continue to be impressive week after week.

..it was kind of an.emotional hatyacha. dont get me wrong i agree sushant is a great dancer but if u really did look at the dance forget the concept and the emotional part of it, it wasnt upto par with his other performances

ANOTHER thread with the topic which doesnt favour Sushant. Love him or hate him.. you just cant ignore him, can u? 😆
And some say that his fans are obsessed wid him. Right!

since when does commenting on a person resemble obsession? does this mean that some of the "sushita" fans or whatever the hell u call urselves are obsessed with shekhar. becuz there were soooo many threads about him and not one favored him.

Life is not a bed of roses... You're gonna see people who will not agree with you most of the time.

The judges are very particular abt dance and real hard core dance..but this dance was emo...and I know that remo doesn't go by emotions..he cuts marks if there is not much dance..but I felt they were partial,so they just blindly gave 30..

I think SHOMPA desrve more aplouse than Shushant. She is very much creative with new ideas and last week dance on clouds was a brillient idea.
