I'm extremely happy to see that Daya sir's exit was, IMO, by far the most dignified and emotionally touching one in JDJ so far. He went with his head held high and having won thousands of more hearts and richer by many more fans. 😃 Every single word he spoke yesterday was genuine, humble and had a warmth that only comes from the heart, and it's truly commendable that despite his injuries, he overcame all the odds and delivered a truly stunning performance. It's rather sad because had he been in the show, it would've gotten full marks without a doubt. He may have left the show, but he's a winner in every way for us fans and has made us so proud of him. And it's really wonderful to see how much his fellow contestants respected him too. Hats off to you, sir. 👏

There were no big big emotional words- but his speech was said with so much of honesty! I felt myself going Aww.. when he said that at every elimination he used to be sad that someone else went when he should have gone.. and today he is actually glad that he is going cos now no deserving one will be eliminated. Also I loved what was shown in the AVI about what he said that he as always identified with his CID inspector identity and he wanted to show a part of himself through JDJ (or something like that.. I don't remember exact words).

His act was awesome! I and my whole hostel full of girls were clapping so hard for him- he did it after a bout of back pain- it is commendable that he picked himself up and worked so hard for this dance.

It really deserved a 'THIS IS IT' from Remo! Not just for the dance, but also for Daya's honesty and his efforts! Malaika's feelings when he performed his last dance seemed just so real! Thankyou very much to the JDJ team and especially to Remo for asking Daya to show his last performance for which he had worked so hard! I felt I could see the same Daya in that performance which I had seen in his first performance- at that time I had felt he would be the dark horse on JDJ!

I also liked it very much when he said that he feels bad for Vrushali cos she is a great choreo and she could have gone further in the competition if she had a better partner- again an honest and an absolutely Aww.. statement!

The best part was when all the contestants came to him and Sushant (horribly adorable with his biggest smile!😃) and others came running 😆 to give him a hug. It seemed so genuine to me! In fact this whole part seemed very genuine to me. They all seemed REALLY happy that he did so well.. and this was one of the best moments for me in JDJ! I wish they could show the offscreen bonding between the contestants- it would make the show so much more fun!!

Daya lost JDJ, yes, but he went out like a hero today, this is what I felt. ⭐️The irony of the situation was awkward for all- a 'this is it' performer had been eliminated!

What were your thoughts on Daya's elimination?

OMG... I was thinkinggg exacttt sameeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee things when I was watching the episode ......lol........
I agree with everyyyy thing you said... lol..

All dance performances by Daya sir in JDJ were magnificent..
Daya sir although didn't have experience or training in dancing before coming to JDJ,yet gave really wonderful dance performances..
A winner in true terms...
Charismatic Daya sir has an honor and aura, perhaps which is far above all others in JDJ

Nikita....first of all great post..And thanks for this wonderful topic.

And about Daya Sir, I can't say anything. Cos everyone said all about him. And, the main fact is that he always and from the very beginning of loving him, made me speechless. I can't find any suitable word to describe him. He is out of this world. No person is so divinely honest like him. No person awesomely sweet like him. And I think, no one can be like him. Cos, such mixture of characteristics are not easy to hold in someone. I love Daya Sir. And I'll be loving him for my entire life.

Daya Sir....you are one of very few genuine persons of the world. You are the best for me.

We rarely get to see such honest, sincere and adorable guys on TV. I was so impressed with Daya, the way he said that he would feel jealous of Ragini as she would continually come in bottom two, instead of him, as he felt that he was deserving to go rather than the other contestants....

Who says so in today's day of cut-throat competition? I am pleasantly surprised to hear someone say this... he completely bowled me over with his last dance performance... it was fabulous... like they say " you save your best for the last", so true and apt in Daya'a case !!!!!!

I have honestly never seen CID and hence never saw him on TV, and it was my first impression of him... from being a hesitant and nervous dancer, he left JDJ platform on a high note... impressing one and all !!!!!! 👏

I really couldn't have said it better myself. You put everything that I was thinking but couldn't say into the proper words. You just made that so much easier.

I've never felt so emotional as I did when Daya sir was eliminated. Everything he said had so much honesty and sincerity in it.
