Any other time and I would have had a lot to say, but I'm completely exhausted rn.

So just gonna say this is one of the most amazing posts I've EVER READ...Reem, love ya!🤗
Every bit of this made so much sense, there was so much reality in this.

I wish people would understand the importance a girl's choice, her freedom holds in her life.

I liked this, this morning itself but didn't get a chance to comment!

Like many have already said, this is a wonderful post. People have voiced my opinions already as has the content of your post Reema, therefore...I won't bore you with an essay of mine.

If your heart is not into something, you will never do it wholeheartedly, especially not when you've been forced into the situation. Child marriages, forced marriages, honor killings etc are all too familiar situations for us (we read about it, some of us witness it through our lines of work, etc). One should not be tied down to a situation that was forced upon them, just because they are wearing sindoor and that thread around their neck. Sadly despite us praying to GODDESSES, women are still looked down upon and are expected to be the sacrificing goats!

Yes and I remember you being a writer too! This forum gets a bit too personal at times. Tell me about it! 😃

100% agree that shows can go anywhere anytime hence I hate the term endgame lol This is especially true in indian serial, I'm sorry to say. Many start of good, you can see the structure, the theme, the plot points and then the moment they get to the middle it starts waffling, the theme and story question thrown out the window. In their bid for trps, writers are sacrificing their art and I as a writer just want to throw the book at them!
But still I feel in JNDSD in particular they do have a vision they are certainly staying true to their story question/theme for the moment, but for a while there it did look like it might go either way. My main concern is A is such a strong character with a very strong will and clear cut ethics, that when he regains his memory he will try to step back because V is now married to his brother. I really, really hope the writers don't play that card but if they do it stems from A's character (Sorry, I hope no one throws rotten tomatoes at me for saying that) . You don't talk about society and show such kind of soulmate love for no reason. If this show is to stand out then they must come out of the concept of compromised marriages. That's how I see it otherwise it's going to be forgotten. So far it has shown that love can empower rather than make one helpless, will have to see if they stick with that theme.

Nice reading your topic Reemz, remember the ones you made in SC forum and elsewhere.😊

To reel logics Vividha is legally the wife of Ravish, accepted because that's what we have seen for the past 10-15 years but then don't you feel they're trying to change that in this show?

How often do you see the wife fighting so vigorously for her boyfriend (I use that word even though it's used mockingly here). She's gone to the extent of saying they're one person. Is that a norm in reel life do you think? From what you've seen so far.

Seriously I don't find this show that much different from other shows. In other shows the FL is more vocal about her hatred for the husband who married her forcefully . Here there is nothing to hate so she is more vocal about her love. But even here her words and actions do not match always. I strongly believe that only TRPs and length of a show are the factors which matter in the outcome of any show. If the story were to end in a month Vitharv will unite and the end but if it lasts long anything can happen including Ravidha. My reasons for watching a fictional show are very simple - entertainment. Moral values , right or wrong , forced or not are all ok for me in fiction world.( If somebody thinks its shallow , so be it). I may debate about it sometime but most of the times it doesn't matter to me much.

perfect reply Shiv 👏

This is a fictional show...and we tend to forget it...

Also yes, if the show is to end in feb, then Vitharva will happen. Else anything is possible. Daily shows have no logic. When they can show female lead becoming a fly. Then what is left. Nothing.

If they want to extend the show, then tomorrow they might show Atharva turning negative or even Ravish turning negative. Cause KK is almost over as the villain. He will not withstand much against the combined force of Atharva and Ravish. Kalindi is also lame comparatively. And who knows, this cv's have ZERO logic or sense. So they might even stretch with just KK n Kalindi, even if its illogical.

So I am just gonna keep my mind open for everything. Today Vividha is wearing Sindoor. Tomorrow she might not...Day After she might again wear it... depends on the mood of the cv's.

"So just chill and enjoy...and whine...and rant...but dont let it affect the peace of mind " .that is my mantra for JNDSD nowadays.

No no no Anjs, you haven't got the point of my post.

Even I know this is fiction and most of the time it is for entertainment. Read the post carefully where I've counter-argued this constant preaching about the sanctity of marriage, the mangalsutra and sindoor. Now if the show is just for entertainment purposes then it shouldn't hurt anyone's MORAL values even if Vividha sleeps with Atharv because it's just a show right? Why are we thinking about morals for a show which is just for mere entertainment?

But if you are going to bring in the whole 'sanctity of marriage' then this is a post to nullify how the 'sanctity' does not always stay intact due to circumstances.

I want to discuss on moral grounds because that's what a few fans here keep going on about. Please if anyone can explain why the MS & Sindoor are so important to those people?

Hope my point is more clear :)

Also, if people didn't have their moral measuring tape whilst watching the show then they wouldn't call Vividha cheap & disgusting. You can't say she cheated Ravish because then you're judging her on your own 'moral values'. It's just a show na? Chill karo, enjoy karo...let her do what she wants.

Your words of wisdom can never bite anyone!

Mangalsutra nahin hua, phaasi ka phanda hogaya! Indian shows need to stop making such a big deal about them because in the real world, a married woman wearing them could easily cheat and a woman not wearing them could be loyal. It makes no difference! There's no special power in them so stop acting like you understand the depth behind them...coz you don't! 😃

Haha no rotten tomatoes! Atharv is too much of a man of principles, he wouldn't sacrifice if he knows Vividha wants to be with him. He believes in speaking the truth even if it hurts the other person. It would be different if Vividha didn't want to be with him because he would step back (completely shattered of course).

Ohhh yes SC!! lol another forced marriage. I remember a few Pramad-Kumud supporters there too! People ship anything.
