once again am clearing yu going by the logics of serial world vividha is married to atharv or ravish???

I sense a little hostility in your question. If I am right I can only say I put forth my views don't take them personally. If I am mistaken I am sorry for my assumption.
As to your question acc. to reel logics Vividha is legally the wife of Ravish.

There isn't an iota of doubt about it.

It has always been atharva who faces the truth and supports the truth. They are waiting for his return of course.

He has never been a person to mix things. He will ask or vivi will tell him before he asks. Either way he ll come to know. He ll ask her if she wants to stay in that marriage.

If vivi had to fall for R that would have happened long back . There was no competition for him. Atharva became a baby. But still this girl did not fall. Now atharva is alright how will she fall for R? Foolish isn't it?

So he ll come to know and after that we ll have a dhamaakedar band bajaofy episode for each and every one. I'm just waiting for that track.

Vivi doesn't even consider this marriage so MS is no big deal for her. Still if cvs are keeping it in sure that's for this reason alone.

Reema, this is such a thoughtful post and your last line shook me. I never thought of it like that, but it completely makes sense now and what a pity. No offence to anyone, but in a country where Goddesses are worshipped and then WOMEN are treated like crap, it gives of the impression that girls are just meant to be devoted to their husbands and fulfill all their duties as the 'perfect' bahu and wife. It's sad, really sad.

That Dangal scene is a perfect example of the situation in JNDSD. That girl in dangal was devastated and if she had dared to say no, she most probably would have been tortured into the marriage anyway or ... yeah killed! So like you said she is putting her OWN life over some stranger's life, whereas Vividha saved someone else's life. I mean death over a heartbreak? I'd always choose the latter, call if selfish if you want now!

I'm quite religious, so yes the institution of marriage does hold importance for me personally and I regard it as sacred, BUT only as long as it is done with the CONSENT of both parties. It's the kind of relationship that can be most beautiful if both parties love each other, acknowledge each other's rights and feelings, however it can also be the ugliest when it's forced upon people and the wife is reduced to merely an object that's meant to worship the ground her husband walks on.

I can't say about others, but I'm glad my religion gives me a CHOICE to walk out of a forced marriage if I wish to.

Exactly! There's men and women bowing in front of Goddesses but then treating women like utter crap! The hypocrisy is in men & women!

I'm glad a big film like Dangal addressed the issue because I'm sure the smaller towns would've seen the movie at least. Whether it had any affect on their mindset or not, I don't know but this message needs to be put across more & more by the media and the industry. The movie industry does it far more than our tv shows which are stuck in a time zone.

I respect religion, though not religious but I have strong faith. Believing and praying are one thing but using religion and culture to TRAMPLE over an individuals free will is wrong. Any sensible human cannot respect that.

I don't know why I didn't make that point earlier because Vividha's selfishness = saving a life which women do everyday when they're forced to marry i.e saving their OWN life and marrying in to a family they don't want to!

the situation may differ if a girl is just forced to marry sacrificing her dreams...if the husband is supportive n loving guy some may fall in love in that case...dat shud clearly depend on the girl's decision not MS or Sindoor..
Coming to the show Vividha is clearly in love with atharv..so wat will make difference if Ravish is gud guy r bad...cz she loves atharv...n that sindoor n MS put by Ravish is called sacred..even though vividha is forced...
then wat about those 7vachans n the sindoor vividha willing had with atharv??thay is not sared???cz it doesnt have a legal paper??

I definitely do not want any hostility here, so let's all have a respectful discussion please :)

To reel logics Vividha is legally the wife of Ravish, accepted because that's what we have seen for the past 10-15 years but then don't you feel they're trying to change that in this show?

How often do you see the wife fighting so vigorously for her boyfriend (I use that word even though it's used mockingly here). She's gone to the extent of saying they're one person. Is that a norm in reel life do you think? From what you've seen so far.

Definitely! I want him to question SuSu who have wasted their life over a COWARLY man! Just because they compromised, why should Vividha?

Atharv will always allow Vividha to do what she WANTS! I read people saying how he forced her to love her blah blah! Watch the show properly and you will see that he actually encouraged her to not HIDE her love. If she loves then confess it proudly! That's what he taught her.

Vividha is simply waiting for Atharv to recover so they can share the struggle, she's said that herself but even in his current state she can't live without him because she does not see herself separate from Atharv. What's so difficult to accept?

Even if at a later stage the wife does fall in love with the goodness of the husband, it STILL does not change the fact that she was forced. No marriage should be allowed like that - end of!

Arranged marriages are different, there's reasonable consent. The end result is not the matter in question, it's what caused the marriage which makes the difference.

I am not excatly sure but I think @vitharvforever means that since you are talking about reel and real in reel way Vitharavare married because they have had there vachans and Atharav's blood filled Vividha's maang and in film world boys blood filling girls mang is like sindoor, so if Ravidha marriage should not be considered forced because this is reel and doesn't matter, than according to reel traditions Vitharav are married.
