I just have a question for the dear pankhis who seem to have any answer. I am hoping they would answer my query.

So girls, would anyone be kind enough to tell this poor soul, how long all this (BS accepting movie offers, shooting for movies), basically his BW dreams could be kept under wraps? In this time and age when technology is so smart, and it is almost impossible to keep anything secret from the prying eyes of media, how long could it be kept quiet? How long could he been made a martyr? How long would he continue to be the victim of conspiracies? Someday it had to come all out in the open. And had he been honest from the beginning, giving us straight forward answers and had not tried to evade or fuel the fans's obsession by giving misleading answers, things would have been much smoother. For everybody. He could have avoided all this that has lead to loss of his credibility and dented his image so badly.

When the truth is out...,
They will still look at him as lily-white and the epitome of goodness.
They will say Gul forced him out, SP defamed him , he had no job so he had no choice but to take up the movie deals.

BG people can go to extreme lengths to convince themselves that their 'hero' is always right.

I'm sure even if Sobti says 'I was wrong, sorry' the fans will not agree to it.

To be honest - it is still a mystery to me as to why bhaiyya left. I'm going to ignore this thing about him only wanting to stay for a year because people can start something with all sorts of ideas and then change as they go along.

But he wanted to leave one of the highest rated SP shows in Feb. He had one film in hand that was completed soon after. The Kekta project was nowhere on the horizon then.

What could possibly have motivated him?
