In my case it's really funny. My significant other and I have a friend who bears an uncanny resemblance to bhaiyya (except he's taller, has more muscles and is hotter). His name is Christo. Whenever I'd watch IPKKND, my SO would lean over check my laptop and say - is this the soap where Christo plays the lead?

RC too agrees that 4lions did everything they could to retain Sobti.

And Sobti also seems to have been set on his BW (farfetched or not) dream.

Better PR could have saved both Sobti and 4lions.

I've always said in spite of their shitty PR have great talent.

For shame. Bas.

I chucked my hair brush at him. :P

As for the show becoming shitty - people could have voted with their remote and just switched channels. A campaign to shut a show down was completely unnecessary. Also IPKKND always had relaltively OK TRPs which means whatever the online audience might have felt there were many, many people who did turn up to watch.

I don't discuss IPKKND with my other half at all. He's spoiled and likes all my attention, so the less I do to wind him up the better. He know how I love looking at SP and sometimes teases me by saying I was probably an Indian in my previous life because he does not understand my obsession with these shows😆. I'm glad the show has ended because some husbands and partners will get more attention now😆

Ive made my peace with Sobti coz honestly hate is overrated and a lot of hard work.

Not because Im some mahatma but because down the line when I think back about IPK I wanna think eye sex and rabbave that made my toe curl NOT the show which had an uninterested male lead etc.

So yes I will remember Sobti in his Diwali/blue shirt glory.

And move on.

No grudges from my side. Bas.
