Tanisha and RC, yes, thy would probably smell something fishy and come up with another conspiracy theory. Does anyone wonder why there are so many conspiracies against one single man? I tell you, the world is so unfair. I mean he is just an actor, that too a TV actor of a mediocre success, but people are hell bent on making his life hell. Why don't they waste their conspiracies on some other superstar. BW has so many. Or politicians. Why an aam admi? Why do mango people suffer?

RC I still blush when i see the poolside kiss...or his incorrigible statements after return form kidnap when he is acting like a randy bull...the scene when he upturns her on the bed, I distinctly remember hiding my face in the pillow like a 12 year old watching X rated stuff...and his teasing about the Suhaag raat...crap the flirting in the Payash wedding...I still grin like an idiot watching those scenes

I'm assuming the HT piece writer is a closet phangurl herself 😊. I think bhaiyya has maybe the same number of insane fans or even a little less than Gul ka pehla aur aakhri pyar. I wasn't active on I-F in that period but apparently the same sort of insanity was going on.

Ultimately it's not about the actor. Soon someone else would come along and inspire even more fanatical devotion from pankhis.

Yes RC it is a first and I will accept that Sobti does have an extra something...don't know if it is sufficient for Bwood, but it was more than enough for TV...if only he was more dedicated to his craft, he would have been recognised by Bwood too.

The HT writer is actually their chief editor for entertainment section and she writes an article every saturday in the main paper only on Indian soaps...she has dedicated several articles to our show...she was very effusive in its praise pre MU, but she was vocal in her dislike of the marriage comedy track...her interest was inspired again after kidnapping mainly during remarriage.

And yes she very lucidly declared that she had loved Sobti's anti-hero performance in the early days...swati she is a fangurl no doubt, but a more levelheaded one at that.

But 20 000 calls is a HUGE number swati.

There have been other heart throbs but I don't think anyone was offered one lakh per episode.

It's both sad and interesting at the same time.
