Actually I feel it was began by BS then comes DB negotiation for better screen presence... but that can be done in other way too but CVs chose the most pathetic way... With these combined effects our show is now suffering... Just hopping all the things fall in place and we could enjoy it bit longer.But going with present scenario I am very much afraid.still want to keep alive optimsm...

Why in this show off screen dominates whats happening onscreen...because onscreen is not worth discussing.Yes I agree the show was affected by BS but the damage was no where near to what happened after that.And it continued to happen.What I see is PH is not focussed.They are just running a show without any story.So my hopes are little.

Agreed ratings have been low post swami travk but they have degraded more because of Didi track..
So barun can be responsible for change in track but not for low ratings..

This might be going a little bit off topic, but this is for all those who blame Sobti for the downfall of the serial.

My analysis on why the serial went downhill.

The serial was at it's highest point just before Arhi contract marriage. The original plan of CVs was to show intense hatred in that period. Basically the nafrat paas aane na de part.

Now what happened is that people were not ready to accept the nafrat part of the story. I still remember this forum flooded with ASR bashing posts for manhandling Khushi. Till there, the CVs were following the original script properly.

But with the nafrat track not being accepted, CVs had to suddenly change their plans. But I guess CVs couldn't come up with a proper track coz the 6 months thing was still on. So then came that GH comedy track. And the serial went downhill. Why? because it wasn't the part of the original plan. They tried to lessen the nafrat part but failed miserably with it.

At that stage, Barun thought that he could manage the movie shoot too, since there wasn't much happening in the serial too. People had already started complaining about the serial.

That's when the CVs made the next unexpected move- kidnapping track to accommodate Barun's leave.

TRPs kept on dropping further. It reached a low level where CVs had to be reactive to it and change the plot at the last minute. That created this whole mess. Audience got confused, CVs got confused, Actors got confused- the beginning of disinterest towards the serial.

So I still believe that if the CVs hadn't toned down the Nafrat part, the story would have been something else today. The intensity wouldn't have died down.

The downfall of this serial had got nothing to do with Barun. It had already started before it.

The same thing is happening now with Sheetal track. For once, allow the CVs to show what they want. Don't pressurise them. With no TRPs, they should comfortably complete this Sheetal track closing all loopholes and then proceed to the next track. The rise will be slow, but it is not impossible.

I think he is just an easy target..No matter how rude it sounds but actually I dont give to shits to people who are blaming Barun for the downfall of IPK..Those bunch of hypocrites praised episodes and some other actress when he left are now blaming him LOL ..4 Lions treated their previous show in the same way..Its just the way they work..They never have decent storyline to continue a show with..The writers are horrible !

But according to some Barun is the writer, producer, director of IPKKND and also the owner of SP and everything..Well they arent completely wrong.. He is the Desh ka Sitara after all 😆

Well I am not a blind fan..I do think his acting can improve and his look can improve too but at first he needs to get out of this shit called IPKKND.

You know what, I absolutely loved your comment. You said it right. We never let them show what they want, their ideas have always been stopped by our aggressive interventions and by our assumptions and misjudgment of certain things. Rumors and spoilers added fuel to ppl's anger towards a particular story line. I think the CVs should not get pressurized by all these and they should go forward with a particular story line if they have confidence on that. The continuous ranting made them lose their confidence a bit and left them confused as to what the viewership truly wants.

As you said the real problem starts after that contract marriage and we never let them tell the story the way they want to tell it. Everything is pathetic now, but I still have hope.
