Absolutely right, i think we should not blame him for anything. He is the master of his decisions and as you said after having much communication with the PH only, he might have signed the movie. The online viewers are only this much worried as we are after so many things, I mean what is running offscreen etc. The TRP ppl were unaware of all those stuffs. As the story line started losing the grip, the TRPs started falling down gradually.

I am in agreement with your post.

Again a difference in opinion here.For me kidnapping track was intense.We saw different shades of two leads.

Later on ASR planning to woo back Khushi was fine.But the moment CVs started with other blackmailing and insecurities of Di my patience level was gone.And then with dadiji and what not the story's charm started shedding.

Ok but what did we get when he was back ? A track which was pathetic than kidnapping...
When BS left the show the ratings were low but were still consistent during his absence..
But later the script degraded the ratings more..
Also instead of kidnapping many tracks could have been carried out focussing on their separation ..

Yes trp audience sometimes sticks to show when that show offer good tracks... As much as we curse and bash other shows.But I saw those shows always stay true to their story and characters... They were always shown the same as they were in the beginning... Regarding the offscreen drama yes we all didn't know... But fact the track got compromised due to BS left remains true...

yup, I agree with you.

From what I've observed about Barun, he's a shy guy and only talks to people who he's comfortable with and certain section of media, don't make him comfortable. That's why we used to have awesome Rangmunch and Telly tadka interviews with him but not SBS or SBB.

And he's a humble guy who doesn't like to boast about himself. That's why he makes certain statements which are unfortunately misinterpreted by people who don't understand the meaning of being humble and I don't expect them either. Humbleness is a quality which only few possess.

I'll tell you why exactly he no more gives interviews. It isn't because he's arrogant. But many times his words have been misinterpreted unfortunately to show him in a bad limelight. So he believes in keeping silence than creating a controversy coz the words you speak can always be used as a weapon against you and it has been used against him when he left for movie shoot.

so, yes, he needs a good PR but I guess until then, he will go the silent way. In a way, it's good. Why should he answer to his so called fans who are hellbent on spoiling his reputation?

And regarding his disinterest towards the show, I feel he worked extra hard during his movie shooting and expected the serial to make a huge comeback after he returned. But it didn't happen. So in a way, he felt like his efforts were wasted. So disappointment is natural in such a situation.

ohh please...U r not allowed to present logic regarding Barun Sobti in dis forum...he is da favourite punch bag of dis forum n will remain so...u would not be able to bring out anything out of dis topic as sum aunties in dis forum would be highly offended n dey would make sure dis thread gets dirty...we actualy dont need to defend BS...he is da best and he wil be achieving great suces despite sum jealous ppl,like he is now...sum ppl's opinion canot change anything...BS is a very humble person n knows best fr himself...he did what he thought was da best n I respect him fr dat...negativity cant surely get in da way of such an honest person like Barun Sobti

Nice post, and i agree Barun not to blame for trp issues. If everyone remembers rating went down from the swami track,you see the cv and ph need to realise when they have uneccessary ott comedy when things are good only makes trp go down and most viewers feel disappointd. It seems cvs have been doing this again with the current track

Barun's decision did not affect the show much.

It was always poor track.Inconsistent characters.

In Barun's presence the show have seen the lowest TRPs.During kidnapping track the show was in much much better position than what it is currently or during other post kidnapping tracks.

I agree with the point you made. The inconsistency in the story started post the contract marriage. Barun was present from February until May, but what was shown then? The comedy, Kushi's OTT annoying ASR, the Gupta house, Bubbly track, Masala Mama, and suicide attempt. Why blame Barun here? If fact, it was the kidnapping that brought the intensity back. They could have handled Barun's absence in many other ways. Also Barun was making himself available to shoot for the show for some days. So it is the makers of the show who are responsible for bringing consistent and coherent storyline, and they often failed to do that.

I think they got distracted frm what they want to show but have to show something else...Yes due to kidnapping we get some intense scenes but over dragging caused lose of intersts among many people...
