Ok, so when this track started I was really excited. I kept reading this is when ASR woos Khushi back on IF and then when we saw him take away the rent money, that idea went up in smoke and I was still happy because it was the return of ASR. If Khushi was not going to depend on him as a husband and take rights from him because of a combination of self-sacrifice for the benefit of Di (that he doesn't know of yet), and her pride (of which he knows a thing or two), then he would slowly but surely make it very hard for her to stay away. But that isn't wooing. He was never going to woo her, I realize. Because wooing her panders to her ego, which is just as part of her in front of him as the his is in front of her, or used to be , and that is the very thing that is keeping her from accepting her haq as his wife. He is not being ASR to break her spirit this time, he is trying to free it from the burden of self-sacrifice that keeps her happiness as a matter of last priority.
He tried the nice way. He asked her and told her what is wrong, please depend on me, I have a duty to your family also. But it didn't work. Now he is coming at her from all angles to show her in a round a bout twisted manner, befitting this totally backwards about everything couple, that she is already in so many ways Mrs. Singh Raizada. The CVs are slowly introducing the many ways that she has already donned that skin, and they have shown us that she is walking away from being Mrs. ASR because of her self- sacrifice and because of the contract making it easier for her to do it, but in no way does she in her heart of hearts want to lose that title. Again, her pride makes her not share the rent issue with her family. Again, her pride keeps her from telling the family about the additional money. It is her pride that makes her walk into that CEO's office and rip him a new one. It is her pride that makes her destroy his office. A pride, that if we look closely, is manifesting itself exactly the way her husband's does. He can see it in her 'what the', in her clearing off the table, in her telling him to not talk when she is speaking ' hence the smirk. He can see how much she is his wife now, she cannot. His ghussa has become part of her and her smile part of him. Where can he show her how much their lives are intertwined as husband and wife, where she can exercise her haq and all her aadats as his wife? At the RM.
He is going to show her how much being his wife has become her 'aadat', just as much as she knows that holding her hand while he sleeps is his. (surprise, she doesn't pull it away anymore). Just as much as being in close proximity to him sets off her heart, which he is regularly pushing her to realize. And he will promise her that she doesn't have to give up her aadat of being his wife, which she loves because she loves him, because he will remarry her, for hamesha, when SHE gives the go ahead. (CVs, I fully expect a full fledged I can't live without you Khushi, if you will marry me I will make your dreams come true and spend my lifetime making sure you want for nothing type of thing that M&B heroes usually do). He saw it in her eyes, she loves him and wants him. We saw it in her countdown of days, she doesn't want to give it up.
He has put his ego aside to accept that he can't live without her (please don't tell me he hasn't, ASR of yore would not be lending a helping hand to someone ripping apart his office). He wants her to put herself and her love for him first, and to accept that being his wife gives her rights, that she is free to accept them, for the rest of her life.

While I get all of this in the story. The Gupta House rent-a-thon is dragging and is beyond ludicrous. The only saving grace is that Buaji, Garima and Babuji don't know what is going on and are not there for the mind games ' and Mr. ASR you better renovate that place as that is not where you want to see your inlaws living and there is no way your wife would let you do that.
I also think CVs have not really ever worked in an office to have a secretary go and say the boss wants you to go home with him to reduce your rent. What the hell is that? If he wants to rile her up ' that could have been done by a note and she would have still been a spitfire. But I suppose you wanted that thappad, so backfilled a story line or something. Yikes. But, you also gave us the convo on the bed showing how much they are a part of each other - so I overlook, AGAIN.
And for the love of some kind of clarity, she keeps bringing up 'fine in XX days' when he will not be fine which is why he is chasing her to get her back, and she will not be fine because she is counting down the clock with tears, and he knows what the days mean, but she doesn't know that he knows, that she left because of the contract but not really because of Di'.please enough. It has gotten convoluted and twisted enough. Have him tell her he knows why she walked out.
