so it seems that arnav bitwa went back to what he knows best.. shouting at KKG..and hitting her where it hurts the most. the worst yet for her, because every time she gives him some leeway, he manages to break her heart. moneywads, diwali, wedding, heer ranjha..(but thankfully this one is not so bad for me, because of the promo that promises better times. if not for the promo, i would have cried buckets and really embarrassed my hubs :D) consider it from her POV.. she does not know the reason for his anger.

he needs to take his frustrations out on someone.. and that someone has always been khushi.. and he is right, before she came into his life, he was comfortable being ASR and his life was going okay.. his work, his girlfriend, his family.. all separate in neat little compartments... from that POV, his life was set! this girl came along and from that day, he has not had a day's respite.. his heart is all over the place, his head cannot wrap around his reactions, he tries to fight it, loses, jumps into countless follies including an engagement to a girl he dint want to marry.. and marriage to a girl who he believed to be bewafa.. now finally his head and heart have come together.. and the next day his di is committing the unpardonable sin .. and that too, all triggered by khushi.

what to do except lash out at her? his Di wants her shyamji back.. wants her perfect world back.. everything that capsized in a day.. can he turn back the clock? all due to this one girl... and his reactions against her.. if they never met at sheesh mahal, there would not be a video of her and him.. shyam would have never met her.. and his Di would still be a happily married woman.. if he had never met her, he would have never entertained the idea of marriage.. if he had never met her, he would not have to choose between her and his Di, because now she holds equal weight as his Di in his heart! yes, it all happened due to her presence in his life..

he trusts her.. he completely believes her truth ... which is why he is not slandering her character now... he is just regretting the fact that they ever met.. lamenting, to be true..others might go in front of devi maiyya to cry and rant about such injustice.. ASR chooses to shout it at his soulmate.. because she is the one person to whom he can bare his true self.

the exact line: "GUSSA BARDASHTH KARNA AUR PYAAR SOOTH SAMET LAUTANA." wish she had recieved that letter and those kangan with the respect they deserved.. she did not even know that those were his mom's bangles for her bahu..

if only she knew that this is his gussa speaking and not his hate.. she does not know his true feelings, never had time to actually understand her husband..

loved the episode today. loved that look into anjali's psyche... chote's helplessness. .. him venting on his wife. .. and finally him realizing his error. loved the trail of flashbacks in the car.

Laughed at how arnav is now carrying anjali around.. who's next? mami?

The first thought that came to my mind while watching the episode was

"Unfortunately you hurt the person you love the most"

I loved today's episode. My heart went out to Arnav, Khushi and Anjali

ANJALI: The poor girl is so depressed that she is not thinking straight. She feels killing the kid might make things better not knowing how much she will regret her actions when she comes out of her depression. She clung to her brother who she believes will make things right and bring her illusionary world back. I think for her more than what Shyam did, the failure of being a wife is hurting her more. The way she begged her brother to set things right tore my heart and I just wanted to go and hug her.

ARNAV: The poor guy is stuck between a rock and a hard place. He spent all his life making life comfortable for his sister and now when she needs him the most he cannot help her. Just after witnessing his sister breakdown and egged by Mami his volatile temper came into play and he went and spewed venomous things to Khushi. I could feel his plight at his inability to set things right for his sister and he just needed the slightest trigger to vent it all out to Khushi not intentionally meaning what he said.

KHUSHI: The girl with the golden heart. Just to hear the things she fears that she is the reason why Anjali life is messed up that too from the person she loves the most would have shattered her very being. Why should she be at fault if someone lusts over her? She in no way gave any signals or encouraged him but is still blamed. Unfortunately, it is a sad fact that this happens in real lfe too. When you love someone and that other person loves someone else, unfortunately the "Someone else" is blamed for their very existence. It all boils down to self-preservation, it is easier to blame someone rather than look within oneself. This poor girl has been through so much and unfortunately still is going through a lot.

Now, who is to blame in all this….Do I blame Anjali for not being strong enough to deal with the situation, should I blame Arnav for reacting to the current situation or do I blame Khushi who should not have gone to Anjali in the first place.

Honestly, I don't blame anyone at all. They all were in character and did what they thought was right given the situation they are in.

The last thing I would like to say is that if not for Khushi I am pretty sure Shyam would have found someone else because that's just the kind of person he is. He got married for money and not for love.

In wednesday's episode notice the faint smile on the face of Akash, when Khushi gives the reason for going to Anjali, tells how much he is relieved and happy that he is not wrong in judging Khushi. He has seen many times before. This is actually a beautiful relationship, started well in AR designs but then they didn't work on it well enough.

Anjali's condition resembles that of a drug addicted, just want the illusion intact…back at any cost. As i mentioned earlier in the chat, Anjali is thoroughly manipulative person. It comes naturally, unconsciously to her. She has conveyed it to Arnav that Khushi is the root cause for her misery without naming her even once and Arnav has picked this clue unfailingly. Anjali won't come out of this soon, not before Shyam is back and he botches up his last chance of redemption. Yes, last because after this it will be Anjali who will bring about his execution. His trump card will lead him to defeat, the final one.

I thought Khushi was still not realizing her contribution to Anjali's abortion expedition, or may be it was just Sanaya's expressions (When Mami was rebuking her for the same in wednesday's episode ).

Arnav knows that he can't give what his sister is asking for and he apologises for the same , but this stance will continue for how long is to be seen. I think its not long before where crumbles or Khushi does something to bring Shyam back.

As Khushi was in her character yesterday, Arnav was today. Both impulsive when it comes to there loved ones …..both react without thinking at the sight of agony of the people they love …both will turn the world upside down to set things right…and they will for Anjali.

Lovely write up Jaya! Enjoyed reading ur post..
Totally get your POV...But that is our dilemma...We feel for him. but his words have hurt khushi beyond imagination which in turn makes us feel for khushi...its a vicious circle!!
But atleast this has acted as a trigger for khushi being furious at ASR and giving him a piece of her mind..which is again justified from her part...
BTW, what is ODG? I didn't get that..
Thanks.

"It is better being the victim then the victimizer. "
Marlene Thornton

"Everything he had ever done that had been better left undone. Every lie he had told ' told to himself, or told to others. Every little hurt, and all the great hurts. Each one was pulled out of him, detail by detail, inch by inch. The demon stripped away the cover of forgetfulness, stripped everything down to truth, and it hurt more than anything."
Neil Gaiman, Fragile Things

"I do know this. It's the things we run from that hurt us the most." 'Brad Sturdevant"
Norma Johnston

I will not express my views because I will end up bashing Arnav to the point where the mods would have to ban me. I refuse to accept any defence of his behaviour. Because if a dog bites us, we don't bite back. Even if we wanted to. There is never an excuse for lashing out at someone in anger. Khushi has an equally horrible past as Arnav and Anjali. Their situations may have been different, but their pain was exactly the same.

Caught between a rock and a hard place!!! 😳

My take today is going to be an extension of what everyone is stating in the Redux.

I am going to start with ASR. He is literally and figuratively caught between a rock and a hard place. He is stuck without options. He has just witnessed his Di trying to kill her own baby and that to with her own hands!! If that is not a shocker then nothing in the world is. As i stated, yesterday to a few of you..Anjali is going through a maniacal depression face. She is emotionally weak and will do anything to protect her own little world. She has asked for something from her brother which is currently impossible to be done by her brother. ASR is in full on guilt mode by the time he leaves his Di's room. His emotions are festering beneath a thin veneer of civility as he puts his sister to sleep. ASR is to be pitied for what he is currently carrying on in his shoulders.

Now, the scene switches to Mami. Mami is completely justified in her stance. Any person in the real world would blame Kushi for interfering with something that the elders specifically asked her not to do. Mami is protecting her daughter and is very worried for her. I can completely understand why she laid the blame squarely on Kushi's shoulders which at this point Kushi rightfully deserves if you ask me.

ASR by the time he reaches the room is very very angry. I would say his emotions are brimming and one small word from Kushi would trigger his wrath and she gives him that one sentence that breaks him. He is very upset and with what he has heard from Anjali, influencing him he squarely puts the blame on Kushi's shoulders. Kushi who was quiet during the entire conversation breaks right when he says "Why did you come into my life?"

One thing that needs to be appreciated here is, be it love, romance, anger or passion, ASR does it in private. No one of the family ever witnesses their private hell or heaven.

As he is driving with the flashbacks and realizes what he is done, it is too little to late for the man ASR. His redemption has just began!

ANJALI JHA - I am not going to say anything regarding her as many have already dissected her today. All i have to say is she is in depression and what she said and did is justified for what is going through her right now.

Kushi - Kushi's heart has been broken and scattered right now. Again, She realizes that she holds no value in the raizada hierarchy. She would have put up with his anger today if he had yelled at her for going to his Di's room. But the one thing that would break her heart has been uttered today. Her love is new and she is still unsure of her place in ASR's life and he has just given her heart a deadly blow. Kushi is shattered. It going to be the redemption of Arnav from here on...😳

Can someone explain to me why is it that I am so stone-hearted when it came to the sister drama (actress was brilliant though), and instead sympathized with the female lead (even though she should not have gone to the room). But certain dialogue was uncalled for by male-lead.
And this is how a layman will see it. Since I AM ONE!
(I have my theory on that, its because they did not make the audience sympathetic enough towards the sister, they shouldn't have rushed this plot is what I think.)

I HOPE THERE IS NO REMARRIAGE and female lead and her sister walks out of this house after the pending two months of her contract.

I understand your angst.. My heart went out to Kushi too..but you need to understand that the person who is really going through any real trauma is Anjali and no one else right now...
