Whether the show abuse or not is their choice, speaks more of their sensibilities than mine. I can only share my extreme distaste for scenes like these. I dont watch it for its story anymore, i watch it for SARUN. The story was dumped and marauded sometime last December.

Indeed.. but indian.. cops.. come on... they should be called thugs instead😡.. in the west perhaps 😛 but jokes apart... i do feel horrible for Khushi.. .and you are right it's not right... what does that show to our younger generation and fans?.. that its okay to go through abuse because u love sme1?? Relationship abuse is one of the worst and IPKKND is not sending out the right msg!

Wow its really nice to see dat despite being the fan of the show u have come up with this pt, coz we generally see dat in our love for the show we support the things which are wrong.
Good job n i hope that the creatives start thinking abt it coz its nt the first time dat they have shown arnav physically abusing khushi

]@bold well said - I know a person who married this handsome hunk and could not bear to divorce him because she was so smitten by his looks. He was extremely abusive to the point of defecating and urinating on the girl in the name of sexual games. And she continued to take it without quitting on her handsome prince charming. It took 2 years and complete family intervention to get this girl out of the vicious cycle.

Gud post, i agree that what ASR did today was too much now!! Cruel to make her shiver like that in the cold and then throw the blanket on her like she is a begger, that too after ages! But i'm glad Khushi did not take it! Was not happy, sad for Khushi.. that she will in the end probably forgive him. The only thing i liked is how she said to ASR- 'so what? she should know what you have done' - when he was panicking about his Di being at the door. BUT she just doesn't put anything into action, she needs to fight back and let ASR know she won't tolerate this kind of abuse to this level anyway..hoping to see khushi toughen up soon! And yes it's the CV's who are showing it in this way so they are responsible and maybe need to be more careful..

SP makes its dough showing abuse and oppression of women. just look at any of its show.

backward/ uneducated girl- check

women abusing/ indifferent male- check

oppressing MIL/FIL/ elder- check

manipulating indian sanskaars to promote general assholery- check

strip the woman of all her dignity, rights- check

sane woman who loves her family and is loved in return and treated with respect--- NOT YET

There are so many great posts on this thread that I'd like to quote!!!

Suffice it to say that for everyone agonized over why ASR is being bashed today - CRY ME A RIVER!!! Take a step back and visualize yourself in such a situation - where your newlywed husband treats you worse than a leper.

Then tell yourself you just have to live with THIS for 6 months.

Then come back here and say - its all for love and he will repent soon.

YEAH - I didn't think so.

Most sane women would just kick his sorry ass out the door.

Like those abusive men who hit their wives on the thighs so the bruises don't show... or if they lose it and hit her face, she has to pretend she bumped into a wall. In essence he is asking her to do just that. Pretend and hide the abuse he is inflicting on her. Pathetic scripting.

This was the worst part of it all, not only for the reasons you highlighted above but just for the story in itself. As you said in essence he was covering up his cruel behaviour towards her which was abusive but in one of my previous replies I suggested the writers intended to to portray intense love and hate but ended up showing well ...🤢

But as I said the worst par was the way he frantically tried to usher her into the room again, they're trying to show that ASR's love for his sister is infallible and unconditional but it's costing his character and it's costing Khushi's character. To highlight the importance of the sibling relationship they are essentially destroying the relationship which actually sells the show!🥱

A real woman does NOT need a man to dry her tears and make the world OK for her.

God I'm fuming today.

but then ASR is not a real man and that i suppose is his excuse. Today's episode was pathetic... and NO LOVE does not mean you can get away with anything
