Today, I am outraged by what ASR has done to KKG! What moral ground does ASR have to force Khushi into a loveless (from her POV) marriage... and for what? to protect his sister? In hiding the truth from Anjali, how is he any better than KKG (when she hid the truth)? In practical terms, he "meant" nothing to her! Why should she have disclosed any of Shyam's truth to ASR? Why should she have trusted him of all people??? Anjali, on the other hand means the world to him (literally) and is his sister? How can you justify letting Shyam lurk anywhere close to your sister? If I were ASR, I would first try to get my sister away from Shyam before thinking about revenge and what to do with KKG!

I am very disappointed by the "zabardast twist"!!

Beautifully said, I think today we got to see the flaw in his character or that they truly are deliberately creating this low for Arnav. In Gul Khan's interview she mentioned regret or something along those lines being the biggest part of this new track I think all these degrading, tortuous Khushi moments will be imprinted in ASR's mind so when finally does come to know about the truth as the interview suggested he'll realise how he practically destroyed her life and he'll beat himself up about. I agree with you though, in essence and apart from a few flickering moments most of Arnav's behaviour was unjustified today just as before when Khushi has acted in the wrong. Both these characters have flaws!

In my blind optimism I think the writers are deliberately showing this low in his character so the impact of the truth is really felt by him and truly regrets his behaviour.

What he did with Khushi is wrong on so many levels! Think ASR! Oh just think! And ask her, her side of the story!

You are right...mighty asr attacking defenceless young girl... all he's got is money power..he always say that money can buy anything then why can't he buy his sister's happiness or his ?..once kkg asked him 'you think you are god then you must know whats happening'..because of his action now she is scarred for life mentally if not psychology...he is responsiable for that..later when he realize his biggest mistake of his life she should not forgive him..but we all know that she will because it is an indian serial...audience will expect that woman should forget and forgive all the time no matter how much she suffered ..😆

@ misclog2003 Excellent write up and I am with you all the way. I love they way you have written the holes in the story and the logic you have used systematically. You are right - if Shyam is terrible then what ASR is doing at least about the relationship with Khushi is really no better or even worse. The only difference is that he is doing it openly

I too find that these 2 actors have portrayed the characters so brilliantly that I am riveted by their screen presence no matter what they do and what illogical scenes they have..

No forum suicide this, there are enough logical sensible people here who will support you.

I for one, see no reason why I cannot appreciate hotwa (ASR) melt when Arnav is wooing Khushi and yet dislike his behavior intensely. Arrey if I only had to drool over nice guys, I would have chosen Aman. he has the added advantage of being available only when you need him and in invisible mode!

Having said that, while we don't and should not condone the character, I do have faith that the basic essence of the story being "arrogant megalomaniac gets his comeuppance from least likely quarter (small town vernacular girl)" will hold true and ultimately we will be shown that ASR develops as a character, understands he is wrong, changes himself to be more loving, honest, caring and fair without hopefully losing his arrogance, toughness, certainty and therefore drool factor.
And that Khushi gets to be the queen of everyone as she deserves to be. I am holding my breath for our sherni to be back - this silent acceptance is ok for a few episodes where she has the Damocles sword hanging over her head but not ok after a while when she has the chance to take stock of her situation. This is the girl who can break out of convention and say, Anjali should leave her husband or say rituals are not the point of a relationship, the relationship itself is...

While that is happening I am happy to dislike ASR's actions intensely, while I feel for him. Btw, he is showing up as v muddled and idiotic (*flinches from the brickbats thrown by fanatic fans*) - as someone put it so well, Dimaag kharab nahi, gayab ho gayaa hai

Please keep writing - its a pleasure to read some intelligent stuff...

And change bhi to nahin ho raha.. He just keeps going back to sqaure one!!
