A Brilliant post Bluefish! 👏Thanks for raising the senstive topic. I too hope Cvs will not show ASR resorting to physical aggression or abuse.
Loved your reply about Khushi being married now...earlier she had her home to go, but now she will be staying with him 24/7. Sometimes women get used to abuse which starts as minor aggression and gradually turn into full fledged abuse. I'm sure we won't see all that in our favorite show and your post helped some more against domestic violence.

Kids of that age should watch maybe cartoons, any program that gives them knowledge or for entertainment purpose...any dance or singing shows, everything is not for kids to be watched even if it is being showed in the prime time slot. Ofcourse since this is the age of 4G, computers, tablets... children have access to a lot of stuff...but parental monitoring is much needed and vital.

Thanks for the comments..but please let us stick to the topic..non support of .domestic abuse ..
I didn't mean to involve parenting.

No offense to anyone here.

and also i do not support any kind of domestic violence...if Arnavs gona do it...m sure the guilt and pain will be too much for him to handle.

Garima I am talking of teenagers not kids below 13 as already mentioned in my post.

Now that I checked. This is what Su Di wrote,

@bluefish
.I dont think this serial is meant for impressionable young people . If any of them are watching it , then either there is something wrong in their bringing up prodcess or they simply do not have anything better to do.

I think teenagers are Impressionable young people, more than kids below 12.

Sad that this topic is getting dragged in wrong direction.

Agreed.I seriously don't want to start a naari mukti morcha(as people like to call it here),infact I can be a typical fangirl when it comes to romantic scenes. But I just want a line to be drawn.
Shyam and arnav behave similarly when they get really angry with khushi and khushi's reactions in both the cases are same.So its not really nice to see.Makes me compare shyam and arnav,it also makes khushi very unkhushi-ish.

agreed..both of them manhandle her...of course we all love ASR better and I hate that shyam.
But then both of them DO manhandle her...she was just now developing a comfort level with ASR.
She will be pawn , puppet for one and god forbid...bait for another.

She may end up hating men..and the word love. eventually.

@ bluefish: Exactly! Now she is his wife...he visibly flinched when Garima slapped Khushi...

From time to time, the creatives have been showing Arnav doing sweet things for Khushi and now finally being in love with her...a person who loves her so much should not be shown deliberately hurting her physically, even though he is angry...especially because now she is his wife.

totally agree with all your points...which is why i've always been against all tha slapping that keeps being shown in serials and films, even if the woman is a so-called vamp... there are other ways of showing one's disgust!
never even for a moment believed arnav would be physically abusive toward khushi or would violate her... i believe he is too disgusted with her, at present, to even think of being intimate with her... he has married her but will keep away from her... the torture will be in the form of the cutting taunts that he seems to be a master of... that is mental abuse and not to be condoned
if it all becomes too much to handle, then I would just give up on the serial and stop watching it... hope the CVs know where to draw the line, though I can't say I have much confidence in SP and its regressive thought process... nothing 'soch nayi' about it!

I like your idea that he is disgusted with her and showed his trump card only to get her married to hiim. Now hopefully she can have her head held high..somewhere.
