I dont think asr is going to use any kind of violence.he has got what he wanted- postponing khushi and shyam going off together for 6 months.now he will try not to betray the fact that he loves khushi, thats all.

THANK YOU!

Just because someone rants away on domestic abuse (which the show at times advocates, and the fans term as "hotness" and "passion) doesn't mean they are already not doing something about it in real life. Why do I have to justify what I am doing in the bloody real world?! It's a forum, I am a member, and I can argue against/for domestic abuse, as much as others can write essays on love. Equal opportunity. Only because other shows on tv are regressive, doesn't meant we let IPKKND go by under the radar too, since everything else has no standards. If the show itself shows abuse or hints it, but does not justify it or concludes it in a manner which defies it, then the show is advocating a taboo norm (which unfortunately is still practiced in many societies)

so don't give others a lecture on joining organizations on a flipping forum; as far as they are concerned they can raise awareness on the forum itself.

Khushi mocking diabetes is wrong, then so is Arnav manhandling her. Do not mock other's intelligence, age, upbringing etc...when you yourself are participating in blatant favoritism and ignorance. Jesus. As far as I am concerned, the show is watched mainly by teenagers (the protagonist herself is a teen), hence the forum/topic maker can most certainly discuss domestic violence...albeit some "wise" ones [with superior upbringing] oppose it since they cannot see their favorite in question (be it the actor or character) be judged.

No one is blaming the actors and characters...so the argument that 'kushi doesn't mind it when Arnav pins her against the wall" is invalid. Khushi is fiction...who is breathed to life by the writers. The message of the topic is to the writers...if Khushi is not minding all of the manhandling done by Arnav then obviously the content shown is questionable. Here we have a strong headed woman who has her way by hook or crook...yet on the other hand, is seen to be at mercy of a man. Makes no sense.

Good lord this comment made me almost manhandle the LIKE button! Can I thank you? Or has the initial opening statement already portrayed how much I LOVED every single thing you just wrote. It seems like every opinion must be stated by someone who has taken part in an organization. If that is the case then every post gushing about the romance should be referenced by a member whom is a part of 'The Love Association'. Should we also add in a URL to verify the credibility of our 'Organization'.

This to me was the best point!

Instead of finding a solution , man to man, his jealous streak has fried his brains! If Shyam has lusted once, what guarantee that he will stop after Khushi? God knows how many skeletons he might be having in his closet!

Who knows, Arnav might have a harem if he went marrying all of shyam''s fantasies!

I don't watch that many Indian tv shows, but among them, Arnav is the only one tugging and pulling.

The writers must be male chauvinistic p***!

no yaar there r worse shows ...like pyar ki yeh ek kahani...oh the male lead was doing a lot of tugging and pulling and calling the female despo blah blah...and every1 was drooling over the hero😆

Many thanks to all those who have replied...both for and against.
We all are in consensus that domestic violence is wrong...that's a good thing.

We do have difference of opinion over the "thin line", what is really abuse.

I do not mean he will necessarily rape her...even if he suggests they must sleep together ..to ensure he wont do anything to breakdown Payal's marriage...in the future...that is also a wrong way to get the lady into bed. The only way to physical intimacy must be by winning her heart. Sorry, I am an idealist!

If he feels marriage necessary to save Anjali's so be it. She married him. As per his wishes. Now Treat her right..with dignity. and space.

To the question" ASR always manhandled khushi from the beginning what is new now"

Now she is his wife. Under his roof..living together , in a socially accepted union called marriage.
Now..domestic violence comes into play. Earlier, even if he did emotionally/ physically abuse her..she had a home to go. Her home.
Earlier ..they were not a couple. She was always free to say she does not want to meet him or see his face. She had options.
Now she doesn't. She is married to him. and will do his bidding for next 6 months to ensure her sister's marital happiness( wrong example, if you ask me.she should simply tell payal about it)

.Now she does not have options. Its their home. Garima has made it clear her daughter's decision is not welcome. No more home of her own, for some time. Kushi is cornered at this point.
Now..physical aggression beyond a certain"fine line" will account for domestic violence.

There are many women out there who think that their husbands might stop abusing someday..and keep waiting for it. I just don't want IPPKND to support that. Maybe some other serials do...but than I don't watch those other serials...and want my favorite show to remain my favorite.

I agree..and I am sure team IPPKND will not take it so far. But I just felt like voicing my opinion over an 18 year old's forced contract marriage. ASR right now has a lot of power...and even if he did physically violate her..no one will ask him a question. That is what is making me uncomfortable..and im sure ASR will make me comfortable soon because im sure CVS have thought out his characterization in this journey. As I saw on Friday, Garima's slap to Khushi made him angry. Now unless that was facade for sake of others watching...he is against physical violence. Which is cool with me!

Also , request to forum members..

This topic is solely to talk out against domestic violence...against wrong examples being set to impressionable minds.
This topic is not about favoritism, or bashing any stars of IPPKND team, or any forum members.

All comments are welcome...please lets refrain from personal attacks, and stick to the topic.

Again many thanks for all the replies,

Is it the new mantra of IPKKND??? Its a intense love story but don't search for a Social message?May be penned by Extreme Pompom bearing Fangirl.

OMGEEE somzz you are too good with words...😆 I hv been reading about those ASR bashing posts and was like why can't I drool over a fictional character and later when the director decides to give him different shades why can't I pin point the character's flaws and shortcomings??

It is weird to see people being lectured on what they should do in real life...this is a forum...for discussions. What do our real life charity actions and donations have to do with discussions in the forum?

Everyone is allowed to express their opinions, without being told by someone else what they need to do in their personal lives.

Painful manhandling, twisting the arm, intentionally hurting her injured wrist...all this can be considered abuse...and yes, it does affect impressionable minds, because this serial caters to all age groups..
Abuse is a serious issue...
And we are discussing it in a public forum...not taking a mahila morcha to LM's office.

Bluefish

Thank you so much for this. I wanted to comment but stopped because of all the negativity.
You and I disagree on many points but I can disagree with you without bashing anyone.
Anyways, you are right...you truly are an idealist, not that its a bad thing. Perhaps I am too cynical because I seriously do not think physical intimacy can only happen after winning someone's heart. I wish marriage is the way you describe them. We live in a patriarchal world unfortunately. I am actually kind of looking forward to him trying to hurt her because it will be hilarious since he cant see her cry. Friday's episode proved it. He gets hurt when she does. And then he has to remind himself to put his ASR face back on.
Btw, I can assure you if ASR physically abuses her or rapes her I will call him out on that. In fact I was upset that he threatened and coerced a girl to marry him. I felt extremely uneasy about Friday's episode for hours. I rewatched it and then I finally felt better because I saw ASR's subtle looks of guilt, pain, love (I missed them the first few times I watched it because of poor youtube quality video). Finally I decided that I know he is wrong but he has his reasons. Khushi has made many mistakes in the past as well and ofcourse I dont think this punishment is fair, but then life isnt fair. And I thought about it like this atleast now Khushi has protection against Shyam and I know this misunderstanding will get cleared and then arnie baby will repent a LOT.

Well Said. I do hope that now that she married as per his wishes, intentionally hurting her injured wrist would stop.

Beti: Ok Mommy... ** I have 4G,Wifi,Laptop,Flatscreen Inside my room,What is she talking about ...Let me see ASR making love with his eyes and twist that bitch's arm,Fun**

LOL..Funny to bring up upbringing.

somzz...sorry for butting in...but i think Sunaina di meant to say that the show isnt for 10-12 yrs old... which is right...i mean why should kids of that age watch serials that has mature content, they have no business to know what goes on between a man and woman, how they get onto a relationship..?? Kids of that age should watch maybe cartoons, any program that gives them knowledge or for entertainment purpose...any dance or singing shows, everything is not for kids to be watched even if it is being showed in the prime time slot. Ofcourse since this is the age of 4G, computers, tablets... children have access to a lot of stuff...but parental monitoring is much needed and vital.

No offense to anyone here.

and also i do not support any kind of domestic violence...if Arnavs gona do it...m sure the guilt and pain will be too much for him to handle.
