nooo! my eyes are red and swollen.. so beautiful and wistful! The way you brought out the power of fate from the very beginning till the end! how it overpowered them all and brought them together and how it cruelly snatched away everything all over again. But... the GOSO you created is more powerful! She takes all the thorns thrown her way by fate and yet she stands up inspite and despite, uncaring of her bleeding feet she treads on! She fights her demons every day and every night and yet she puts on a smile! that right there is a fighter and a winner... God often reserves the best battles for the ones most deserving and Gauri has always been her Shankarji's favourite.. Her faint smile at the forlorn night sky remembering her jatadhari reflects on how she decides to courageously fight on and not give up! cuz she knows and believes Om would never give up on her. And so GOSO remains... unbowed and undefeated.👏
Adishree,
Love your comment. So so so wonderfully analysed.
I am huge believer in Fate, the Higher Power which can give and take as it pleases. So much fickle yet so so powerful.
Your description of GOSO is my own understanding of her.
GOSO's faith in fate is unshakable. Hers is something that will move the proverbial mountains. Her love for her husband, the love from her husband will always be her strength.
She fights her demons, gives in to the numbness, the darkness, the loneliness but she wont GIVE UP.. Ever. And there lies GOSO in all her glory!
Ananya had asked me to reverse the situation in my next write up, and i had been thinking what will Om do? The only conclusion i can come is Om would give up! Because for Om love would always be a weakness. Gauri will be his vulnerability! Om in this situation would either retreat in his mind going completely crazy or will chose to end it all. I cant imagine Om being what GOSO is in this OS. (this is for you Ananya)
Thanks for reading it dear. I immensely enjoyed reading your views on it.
