Not one person truly realized the depth of his sorrow...strangely agenda was to get tadi back...make him jealous to get him out of apathy mode...

I agree...it's pretty ironic that Shivaay's own brothers don't seem to understand the magnitude of his sorrow😆 and are too busy glorifying Anika even in situations where she is at fault too😆

I think only Sahil gives her somewhat of a reality check from time to time...but she usually dismisses him as a kid too...there is genuinely no peer to give Anika sound advice right now...so again it all comes back to Shivaay only...they will possibly make him tell some home truths to Anika later down the line explaining where she was wrong...dunno if she will realize even then😆

Waise bhi it's TRP check to glorify the FL ka "sacrifice"...that is all this is right now...so everyone has to focus on her "sacrifice" rather than her regret in hurting the person she claims to love so much.

You've described Shivaay's emotions today beautifully and I completely agree with your points about why this crying was different from Mahi's...frankly I've seen days when NM has succumbed to his Mahi mode and today was definitely not one of those days...infact today he kinda blew me away by the concerted attempt to CRY differently as you rightly pointed out...I was frankly amazed to watch him navigate all those emotions today...from the initial earnestness in just wanting to know from Anika, to even showing all his anguish at why did all this happen when they were so happy together, apologizing for holding her too strongly...and then his reaction to the actual truth...the way he's frozen for a bit and then gradually he's grappling with it in bits and pieces...the sheer shock of it ki MAIN najaayaz hoon...MAIN? NM did that so brilliantly, man...you can literally see Shivaay falling apart in that moment and Anika rushing to calm him down as if trying to hold him together with the instant reassurance that nothing has changed, no one thinks differently of him for this.

The part that really touched me was how in the midst of grappling with all this, he'd realize that this is why Anika left him...the way his mind was simultaneously piecing together the info (vis a vis the Daaima FBs) as well as realizing just why he lost Anika...so grappling with the anguish of both those situations...I thought it was damn complicated to navigate through but NM was superb at it today...it may be a hit or a miss sometimes but his EFFORT to try and DIFFERENTIATE I have noticed...today was a full on HIT today...I think he hit all the right notes in that scene...can't fault him even for a bit...even the crying today was so endearing and not OTT at all IMO...your heart really goes out to Shivaay.

Woh aur baat hai that I'm kinda bummed out that they didn't give SC as much to run with😆...but even then I think the crux of that scene lies in the bit where Shivaay is breaking apart in front of her and Anika is so desperately trying to hold him together...the way she's reassuringly running her hands over him, repeatedly telling him that this doesn't matter, that he is so GOOD...that was a lovely bit.

Also the bit when she tells him, "Aap bas mere Shivaay hain"

LOL baaki toh I'm resigned to the flip to comedy any given day...LOL ek din ka anguish, phir 4 din ki comedy😆...whether Shivaay has really forgotten or not, I think we'll only know two weeks from now whenever this wedding track culminates😆

I agree with both of you,SC was always a natural actress effortlessly,but I felt NM was not up to mark in few aspects in the initial episodes like dialogue delivery in some scenes,but he took criticism in a positive way & fans feedback positively,i saw some criticising his dialogue delivery in punch drunk scene on Twitter when that scene was aired,but he politely replied I will improve myself & asked to give feedback,& he really proved it,i never thought he will reach this stage,i was only watching the show for SC's acting but NM mesmerised me by improving his acting & dialogue delivery in all kinds of emotions & scenes,now I am a fan of both as there is no shivika without them,today's scene was definitely a challenging for NM he proved himself in today's episode.And one thing I surprised is they didn't make the scene dramatic when revealing illegitamate thing by showing multiple times black & white colored shocking faces of Shivay,it was so natural & completely worked without any dramatic effects only bcz of NM's acting & I liked it that way.

Actually you are right, the day Annika found out it was Pinky behind everything, she tells Shivaay but he doesn't believe her. I guess the audience wasn't expecting him to believe her right away either as Pinky is his mother.
Hopefully Shivaay will recall that conversation and start putting all the pieces together now that he knows that Annika had a reason for what she did that say.

u think someone should tweet HS and remind her that annika's guilt should be shown??i'm so annoyed that this part is royally ignored

i mean fine he was wrong , apologized for his bbit...but what about her??

Today was a Shivika-full episode, I was surprised. I really thought CVs were going to drag this drunk sequence until tomorrow 😆

Their scene was incredibly emotional today, and really NM loves playing SSO so much...he depicted so many emotions today. The glee, the anger, sadness, despair, anguish, it was all there today. And SSO's dialogues were very logical too throughout this sequence.

"Meri khushi tumhaare saath hai, Anika...tum jaanti ho na yeh?"...(does Anika truly listen to him? NO. And I'm pretty sure she's going to forget these dialogues of his today😆). The thing that got me to LOL though was that whole "Maa Bhagwaan" dialogues near the end of their conversation...like really?? Since when does Shivaay put Pinky on this colossal pedestal? . It would have made more sense if Anika said that she didn't want to separate him from his mother because she's an orphan, instead of this nonsense.

I think you were on your vacation Anu when I wrote this, but I mentioned during their grand separation episode that in the end Anika was going to be glorified by Billu for her "sacrifice" as a foil against Pinky's schemes...and lo and behold there was some of that today. He had some choice words for Anika and then promptly fell asleep on her shoulders anyways😆

In other OM news, unrelated to Shivika but still leaving the audience with the "Kyun hua yeh?" part of the question, senior Oberois are still playing psycho games while one real Oberoi bahu and one fake one have left the building.😆

Honestly, one can only hope. Maybe that's why they brought Remo for the shaadi. Otherwise, why all the hype just because Annika, Naira, and Chandni are getting married. Dont watch YRKKH, but in IB and IPK3 the FL is getting married to the wrong man.

Yup, that was exactly what was missing, and what HAS been missing. This girl just doesn't feel guilty at all for what she's done. Or has even thought of the reasons as to why she gave up on him in the first place. She just gets teary-eyed here and there but when he's demanding an explanation, she goes mute or gives these one-liners..."majboori thi" my foot. Watching him cry in front of her just reinforced to me just how badly Anika messed up big time. What she did was pretty much almost as bad as cheating in my eyes 😆. Her stunt should realistically be something that would require him tons of time to process and forgive but instead she's going to get away with this with the mahaan trope😆
