Probably the most pertinent question of the epi asked by Shivaay😆..."Kyun hua yeh sab?" "Why did all this happen?"...We all wonder about the same, Shivaay...and answer mein Anika first accuses you of not having enough trust in her😆...when you remind her that she too didn't show any trust in you and didn't even confide in you that there was a problem, she chooses to sidestep by asking about aloo puri😆

That said, this was probably my fav. bit of the epi because of the way Shivaay cupped the side of her head itne pyaar se and asked her this question...that entire sequence in fact was about him saying he didn't want to hurt her, fussing over the few marks on her wrist, basically the caring Shivaay was back in full form...tadi was put aside for the moment😆...but Anika was too busy getting one up on him by switching out the bhaang waali aloo puri...the fact that Shivaay was dumb enough to drop the keys of the handcuffs right there is a story I'm not going to get into right now😆

The bhaang induced laughter bits and the Jai Jai Shiv Shankar bits were cute enough, albeit brief😆...I'd say the last two times these two got drunk were way more fun...I guess Anika wasn't even technically high this time so this doesn't really count😆

Which brings me to probably the most pertinent scene today...the grand "Catharsis" as Writer Saahiba proclaimed a few days back😆...how cute were Shivika just sitting on that ledge mazey mein grinning at each other and Shivaay so cutely asking her ki "bataao na"...LOL as if it was but the natural sideproduct of all the crazy dancing they'd been doing minutes ago...itne aaraam se question puchh liya...before it all got more emotional.

I have to say this scene overall was one of those slow burning ones...it gradually built up this crescendo of emotion in both Shivaay and Anika...and thoughts were almost all over the place...Shivaay grappling with so much new information alongside the fact that this was the reason that Anika left him...so he'd alternate b/w lamenting what this means for his very identity and then crying over the fact that Anika left him because of this...also crying over how good she is that she sacrificed so much for him😆, apologizing for misjudging her when she never even let him know this cuz it would hurt him😆

Today was also possibly the first time I've seen a ML actually apologize for suddenly grabbing the FL's face all intently😆...Shivaay so badly wanted to know that truth, he almost wanted to shake it out of her...but perhaps the bhaang mellowed him and he actually apologized for holding her a bit strongly😆...the way he said, "You can say it" reminded me of the first drunk scene when he was coaching her to say his name 😆

Now personally I felt that in the entire initial half of this scene, Anika appeared almost blase as she was replying to Shivaay in almost a monotonic fashion, "Majboori thi"...it was only later once Shivaay fully broke down in front of her that it seemed like the dam inside Anika broke too.

Shivaay recounted his proposal to her again, talking about how happy they were together and she was just listening...he got some solid lines today..."Tum toh khidkitod Anika thi, GHARtod Anika kaise ban gayi?"😆

To my surprise, she managed to tell him about the Pinky part in all this even before he gave her the kasam😆...kasam only got utilized to get the illegitimacy secret out of her...LOL...and that's when Anika started to fall apart a little bit too...clearly that was the big hold up for her always..."Main bataa paati toh aapko chhod ke hi kyun jaati"? LOL...she resists so much even after he gives her his kasam..."Bahut badaa raita hai"😆..."Aap nahin sambhaal paayenge"...but she finally tells him...and Shivaay is frozen in shock for a bit...as Anika explains to him why she couldn't tell him this cuz he's more Oberoi than he is Shivaay...all his tadi is in his NKK😆...she knew this would break him so she broke herself😆...

But the scene picked up from the bit when Shivaay starts crying (great job by NM there, actually in the whole scene)...that's when Anika scrambles to pull him together, telling him "Aap jaise bhi hain, bahut achhe hain"😆...I thought she'd say SABSE achhe given what a Billu fangirl she is otherwise😆...this bit was kinda hearbreaking cuz Billu was like a little kid crying and Anika was trying to sambhaalo him like a mommy😆

Also heartbreaking was the bit where he tells her, "Meri khushi tumhaare saath hai, Anika...tum jaanti ho na yeh?"...LOL I don't think she does, Billu😆...even if you TELL her to her face, she will not believe it...like she said, she'd rather take on duniya and tumhaari nafrat😆

He also asks her, "Bharosa nahin tha tumhein mujhe pe?"...Anika ka answer "Main DARR gayi thi"😆😆...STANDARD Anika answer for all flips..."Main DARR gayi thi"...jaise Billu ka NKK, waise Anika ka DARR...one day Captain Obvious waale Writer Sir will write a dialogue telling the audience..."Iska matlab ab Anika ke liye PYAR darr se zyada important ho gaya hai?"😲😆

I must say it's amazing how Writer Saahiba likes to claim that Anika is not a fatalist yet the only explanation they have for Anika's mistakes..."Main darr gayi thi"😆...Itni strong ladki jo waise saari duniya se lad jaati hai, bas is ek point pe humesha darri hui hoti hai? No matter what assurances she gets?😆

I'm not even going to get into the Pinky = Bhagwaan ke samaan for Shivaay bit cuz of how unbelievably contrived that is😆

Bechara Shivaay again grappling with "SABKO pata tha, sivaay mere?"😆...and Anika trying to reassure him that it didn't matter to anyone that he is illegitimate😆

Shivaay ne phir se Sorry bola😆...and then promptly passed out😆...and Anika got to confess her love to an unconscious Shivaay for the second time...yippee👏😆...maybe third time will be the charm and he can actually be awake to hear it?😆

Precap is kinda funny to me cuz of how Anika is trying to be all like itni badi baati hi nahin thi, mat socho uske baare mein, it's a bright new sunny day😆 and Shivaay's like I don't even remember😆

First things First NM totally Nailed it aaj he was BRILLIANT and SC gave a good saath in whatever bechari was given 😉 i am talking about the handcuff scene to be specific here , special mention os shivaay toh bade chantomayi nikle that was the original anika we were introduced too a year ago it came just like those initial days and made me smile

I know i know it is mostly about the big reveal aaj but i personally liked so many other little moments aaj too Like shivaay giving the taana to Omru too ke they knew and hid it and then doing his chotu sa emotional BM that bhabhi means more to you 😆

Then came the handcuff opening again i liked this a lot esp how he here too apologized and said i didn't wanted to hurt you and bam came her par kar toh dia na and he retorted back tumne bhi toh kia na mujhe HURT. I felt like cheering for shivaay here finally he said it he was/ is hurt Thankyou Thank you for saying it again once of those things which was sorta hard to believe ke will actually happen in the show so at this point i was like chalo we are off to good start 😆 then the way he started looking at her wrist and got thoda ghussa bhi at her getting the nishaan again it reminded me of toofani Night in jungle and his phirse chot lagwali & because he just told ke he was hurt anika decided to pay back too with kuch nishaan nahi mitenge. Peeche kaise rehti and again i do appreciate that shivaay was reminded of his stupidity too even though he was pushed and played with. i liked the FB bhi and then the Kyun hua yeh sab Bit was lovely, he made some valid points tumhein mujhepe bharosa nahi th baat karni chahiye this na koshish toh karti there the shikayat in his voice was so well done it was good mix of shikayat+ disappointment that she didn't trust she didn't even try and the way he cupped her face there So so so heart touching it was . without a doubt one of the best bits aaj

the bhaang wale aloopuri and Jai jai shiv shankar were alright i kinda am not that entertained by jai jai shiv shankar aaj bohat rushed tha and i liked the other 2 dances more too but the last bit of the song kinda melted me the forehead touch there and shivaay showing his need of her ek dum ghul jaana chahta hai with her if that makes sense.

now coming to the big reveal . i have issues with her lack of regret too but as i said in the other post itna bhi mila toh bohat hai caz frankly i wasn't even expecting that much toh passing main ek line is bhi is ok. the build up was very good and for once thank you editor bhaiya for not ruining it and cutting it into 100 short clips and let it flow so the impact can last.

shivaay was adorbs as the ziddi bacha going batao na batao na when she wouldn't and then being all main sambhal loonga haan main haan milaoing of everything she said and negating her dears to get it out. i am personally guilty of that too i am like i will deal with shit just lemme know and when i come to know about it and like WHY? so very relatable moment for me reminded me why i am such a fangirl of billu caz he is just like me in many ways sometimes it is scary but coming back to topic Shivaay was shocked it was like his pairon tale zameen nikal gayi but i felt more than that he was upset about her leaving him for a moment i could see what i had feared all this time that he will think that she left him caz he was najayaz. his tuh is liye tum mujhe chod ke chali gayi i felt can be interpreted here for more than 1 thing. one being him complaining ke she left him caz he was najayaz the other being her lack of confidence in his ability to sambhalo it and that everything else mattered to her more than him & lastly , for thinking ke he will be happy without her and ofcourse that was his complaint too ke that's it that's all you thought and it was that easy for you so you left & realization bhi ke oh yeah so this was all it was about very well done 👏👏 by NM and i hope i made sense with this and haven't confused you 😆

anika ka main darr gayi was such a meh jawab like this is all she had to say i wanted him to say darr gayi of what how many bloody times i have to tell you you don't need to fear. funnily enough back in the jungle track her darr was to be separated from him caz of her past but then her darr switched and she actually left him caz of his past🤣 Kuch samjh aaya? caz mujhe nahi aaya. Ok moving on HE had to say it again ke why don;t you get it meri khushi tumhare saath hai. the helplessness and pleading in his voice he is totally Zich ( urdu wala) now he doesn't know hwo else to explain it to her ke he can't survive without her but she never seems to get it. i felt horrible horrible for shivaay there but as was expected it went over anika ka head phirse

His pain and hurt at omru ka pata tha siwaye mere gosh i wanted to run into the screen and hug him and tell him baby you don't deserve all these liars ( excluding anika caz i can never say ke she doesn't deserve him like NAH that will be next level mean and i can't be mean to my bachi no matter how many stupid mistakes she makes 😉)daai maa ki video bhi finally register hui shivaay ki batti jaali ke it was about him awww. maa and bhagwan bit ignoring. glad ke she told him about pinky and he didn't doubt her aaj at all and believed her that i also consider progress beshak bhaang ke nashe main hi 😆 & then his tum Kitni achi ho again his ghussa at ehr being achi was so well done . Liked the crying bits shivaay breaking down into pieces and finally hugging her and she bechari bachon ki tarah sambhaling him bohat acha tha woh and thank god not cheesy and OTT very nicely acted and shot though i wished they showed us the angles from BTS phir bhi maafi caz i liked it.

really liked these bits and how good they looked in this even though they were supposed to be a mess but what a HOT Mess they were in this😆😆

baaki i will keep harping as i will remember stuff bit by bit but i guess i am happy with what i got today despite some Issues here n there

did i say ke pinky and bhagwan had me rolling my eyes really hard? but him popping all his arm veins in ghussa was again a nice touch thoda disturbing

the angst was a right balance aaj i was afraid we will go into super dramatic OTT territory but sambhal hi lia sabne so good job

i will be gifing and might edit caps bhi aaj

once again applause for NM 👏👏👏 not bothered about him forgetting as all of you said we are in for a ML reboot of sorts even if not IDC at least she spoke the truth aaj and am sure it will come back to him later at some point i am just pleased with seeing my shivika at what they do best and seeing that special connect between them no matter what they are going through BTW i have a genuine question did he meant at one point ke now let's be together i forgot the line but it felt like he was like let's forget everything and be together and she shook her head or maybe it was her after telling the truth ke what else could i have done. i think i remember seeing that sign but i will have to rewatch to find that exact moment where i got the feeling that it was like kuch nahi hua and now we are sorted..

i wish her putting him to sleep was thoda lamba moment and she said something in regret then, which also reminds me of the other fav moment where she took that red scarf out of his neck as he started struggling with it hwo carefully she took it out woh anika ki care for him and concern was so evident in that chotu chotu sa moment that many may not even think was significant enough but as you said inka speciality is in these chotu things they do and all these reminded me why i fell in love with them

oh forgot to say it that khidki tod thi ghartod kaise nikli was BANG ON hit it at the right spot and i went *SHOTS FIRED

Loved loved loved the scene today. But the only point I can see for it all is that Annika sees him break, feels justified in having done what she did, and so carries on with the act when she realizes he doesn't remember.

And that puts me, for the first time ever, on Team Shivaay. If after everything he told her today about his happiness being with her, she doesn't see that the pretense isn't required, I don't sympathize with her any more. I couldn't empathize at all with his apology and her acceptance of it with just, "I made mistakes too". I mean, I expected more guilt after she saw his reaction.

And the way his voice breaks at key points.. "Omru knew? Everybody knew except for me?"😭

My heart broke for him today and my reaction to this fictional character's hurt scared me a little to be honest. Like I said, now firmly on Team Shivaay.

One more thought...you know what's missing in this relationship and this storyline right now? Anika's regret for hurting him THAT much...today a drunk Shivaay was able to get around to apologizing for misunderstanding her...where was Anika's guilt and pain at hurting him THAT much? Yeah she had a reason for what she did but where is the deeply regretful apology? At the most she admitted today that she made a mistake in hiding this from him...but where is the regret for shattering him? She does SEE na how shattered he was? In all the rush to give him an EXPLANATION and then trying to sambhaalo him, somewhere the apology became an afterthought

THAT'S what's sadly missing in the storyline right now that would actually equalize this situation if we are actually going towards making both of them realize that they messed up...the writers add in dialogues of both of them retorting to each other and pointing out each other's mistakes but why is it only Shivaay that apologizes and not Anika?

Scene sounds good.. CAPs look awesome! Angst has been nailed.. Acting toh has been khidki-tod since a few weeks.. 😊 NM deserves the vacation 😆

but kya meri Anika ko bhi kabhi ye realize hoga that Shivaay really cares about her.. loves her... that she is really important.. that she is his strength.. Woh bas aise hi nahi bolta.. He really means all this.. that she needs to communicate/talk... 😊

Come On CVs... Give me Anika ka woh ek moment(similar to biwi declaration), when I can be very proud of her again for fighting and winning against her demons(Daar/insecurity/the fact that she does not fight... whatever CVs finally decide it is going to be..) 😊

They were both Brilliant! SC works with what she's given and aces it. But it's true, the writer doesn't flesh out her character, it's always been a personal gripe of mine. A win-win for the writer though, this.. Annika's act is justified by Shivaay even, making her look good, and Shivaay's reaction gets all the love and sympathy. Quite clever, if it's intentional... 😊
