Phew ...i think we have gone past the best phase of Shivika.Does it hurt so much to write just one balanced scene bw Shivika to set the accountability for their failed relationship? I feel Harneet seems to be working on a new formula - make Shivay cry a river to cover-up for her dumb writing and win accolades from fangirls, at least on twitter. Such an ego boost for her to be crowned/applauded as the besshhhttt writer for such half-baked tracks !!!!!!!😡
@bold: This, exactly...if only the writers would realize that they need to balance this and not focus on glorifying one at the cost of the other.
Somewhere, they are failing these days in being able to bring out Anika's compassion to that extent...it's a somewhat tempered version as you pointed out cuz they make it so inconsistent...sometimes she is shown as hypersensitive to even a slight scratch on Shivaay and sometimes to utterly oblivious to how she's shattered him otherwise...it looks strange to say the least.
I wouldn't say today's scene was meaningless...it was a good scene but yes there was a lack of emotional impact from Anika's end...and that is what left me with a bit of an unsatisfied feeling.
