Why do we feel that imlie doesn't love Aryan - Page 5

Ok, I am not taking anybody's side but just presenting an opinion based on what i have noticed post joining the FD:

1. Imlie will never love Aryan the way she was in love with AKT (i can already see the flying chappals par baat suno pahle) that's bcz what she had for AKT was infatuation it is clear as hell, i have just seen her love for AKT during the period when Aryan has entered the show but the way she kept running back to him it was NOT bcz of her love for him but bcz of her hopes to still save her broken marriage/relationship. Basically, she was in love with the idea of still being able to remain married and not have a broken relationship/divorce reason? Her background as a village belle. The woman/ girls of any village believe in the idea of remaining married when they are the constant victims to domestic abuse/verbal abuse and what not. You see when she is standing at the Tripathi's threshold and giving that Sorry Imlie speech she still hasn't gotten the courage to take out the divorce papers, sign them and throw them on his face despite half herself screaming to her to do the same. It is Aryan who grabs the papers from her bag and shoves them in her hand bcz he can see clearly what's going on with her.

2. When she went to pagdandiya to save AKT there she is hanging by the last straw of love or infatuation that she had for AKT. But as soon as the new AKT comes into picture and spews his hate on her there she is so pissed with him and finally decides to move on. Then comes her phase of obsession for Tripathis and it has nothing to do with AKT she was so devoted to the Tripathis bcz go and watch the starting episodes of Imlie when she arrives with AKT to the Tripathis, AKT was a jerk to her then but the Tripathis treated her like their own child. And when she walks out on AKT (episodes when Aryan goes to her hostel to give her medicine forced by Arpita) you will actually witness how much the Tripathis adored Imlie. The Tripathis were themselves having false hopes that Adi.lie will reunite and Imlie who is the perfect daughter and Bahu will come back to them not realising as well as realising their son doesn't deserve her until Aryan stepped in with the marriage deal.

3. Imlie is falling for Aryan the entire Adini wedding track let's run down the memory lane: when he appears as Raj and dances with her it was not friendship she was falling for him then minutely though, when he stops AC from slapping her go and look at her face from those episodes that's how a girl will look falling in true love, when he motivated her during her breakdown (the rain scene) look at the way she is looking at him her entire undivided attention is on Aryan, the Babysaheb's tantrum for getting clicked with Malini for their pg3 wedding story u see her breaking down, running away from the heartbreak but the moment she comes face to face with Aryan remembers his motivating words draws strength from him, why would a girl draw strength from someone who means nothing to her.

4. Imlie is again seen falling for Aryan in the hut scene from PD, look at her face when Aryan punches the villager stepping infront of her it screams how much she admires him now, this girl despite being injured, tired went into a Dhaba's kitchen just to cook for Aryan bcz he was throwing a tantrum for hygeine, u think any girl would give a damn about a grownup guy throwing tantrum until she is not having feelings for him? The most important of all she went and did tandav infront of god look at the determination on her face than it's like she was challenging the gods to return what was hers back to her and for the 1st time she was not begging.

5. Arylie fans will never be able to understand Imlie's love for Aryan bcz hum log toh khud hi Aryan ke wajah se show mein aaye hai we have never connected to Imlie as a character, it's all about Aryan for us most of the time, what he says, what he thinks, how he loves, who he loves, why he loves Imlie. But if we connect to Imlie as a character we will realise what she feels for Aryan, he literally runs into her like blood. In Jo track, she says to Aryan humka maloom hai tum dono ek hi ho, humko samaj nhi aawat hai kaha tum shuru and kaha cheeku khatam, clear indication of how deep seated Aryan is in Imlie. So, keeping our irritation for Imlie aside from this track try seeing her as a character, we will be able to see what Aryan means to Imlie. The difference we are able to see in their love is bcz of their personalities Aryan whatever he does, does passionately and he is possessive of Imlie as well but Imlie is not that much possessive/expressive in her love bcz she is completely surrendered to him her definition of love is not You are mine but it is I am all yours instead and that's the difference when u are the 1st case of love here u develop jealousy, insecurity of loosing ur lover but with the 2nd case of love ur a secure lover bcz u think u have already given ur all.

see, I only watched after aryan's entry and so I have no impression of what went before and frankly no interest either. however, some of the stuff that imlie said in the flashbacks were shocking -- it seemed very cruel and mean to taunt. 🤨 🤨

so I can see how much pain malini is under. mayuri is a great actress in that you can see the pain in her eyes when she lists the things that she is mad at imlie for -- they are very precise and she does not meander. it basically has to do with interference in her marriage.

however, the CVs can't have imlie be shown as wrong. so they will never have her acknowledge that she was married earlier and she was part of a triangle. I have noticed that the CVs skirt around it even when malini is point blank saying that in their confrontations. so we are not getting the slaps, discussions or arguments.

but yea, I can't help smile a little when malini gives snark on imlie's mahaan in just one sentence after imlie has spoken a whole essay. 😆

I might get brickbats for it but I think malini and imlie are a lot alike. malini is manipulative for revenge but imlie manipulates others emotions to get her way. the difference is malini is consciously doing it and is planning ahead. whereas imlie does it subconsciously on the spur of the moment. that is why malini comes across as devious whereas imlie comes across as sweet. just as malini is ignoring her child, so is imlie. at the end of the day, both of them are so focused on their own pain and past that they are oblivious to others. both will go to any lengths and bizarre extremes to get their way. at least malini does not give lectures to audience about how mahaan she is.

in the flashbacks that malini had, I was surprised at some of the things that imlie said -- I actually ended up saying out loud "what a b****!!!!" and then imlie cries "oh malini didi hates me!" -- seriously???? I would too you sillly girl.

imlie cannot take responsibility for the part she played in the messy relationship she had with the tripathis. both women are hung up on their past and spiraling out very destructively.

and please lets not have imlie become a child kidnapper. 😡

But when has Imlie ignored cheeku? It's not like she has a risky pregnancy and doctor has advised her to be cautious and she is running around Gudiya.

Also till now Malini has not posed as a threat to cheeku(atleast in Imlie's knowledge) There has been no missed attempts to cause MC as it happens in other shows.

This ball attempt was the first attack which Malini did on cheeku and Imlie became the target. NOW if by chance if cheeku would have survived and still Imlie went after Gudiya then we could have said she was ignoring cheeku
What she is doing is unnecessarily focusing and obsessing over Gudiya but that doesn't mean she was ignoring cheeku

The story has to continue...further

Its not about the second time in love. The fact is they never showed Imlie falling in love properly. They showed her developing feelings for him. But they did not show the process how she fell in love. I have never watched the show before episode 310. So I have no problem with Imlie falling intensely in love for the second time. But they need to show this process.

Also a lot has to do with the concept of this love story. Imlie's self sacrificing love for everyone and Aryan's love for Imlie. They are equal. Before Aryan, nobody loved Imlie except for Meethi as much as Aryan.

Yes, Imlie has done a lot for Aryan. Before marriage, unintentionally. Post marriage she helped him and his family. But her self sacrificing nature makes this problematic. It gives the image that Imlie loves everyone & Aryan loves Imlie. Also since the story is from Imlie's pov, we always see Aryan being there for Imlie everytime. Where as the narrative makes Imlie help Aryan when he is self destructive, in guilt or in danger.

anytime you had a previous miscarriage, the next baby (what do they call it -- rainbow baby?) you are supposed to take care more. at least that was the doctor's advice given to one of my relative even though she was not at risk at all. emotional stress in some women can trigger lots of complications. so she was advised to be calm and not do anything to raise her BP and just focus on eating well and having some peace. they even told her to cut office hours if needed.

I find imlie's obsession and unwillingness to take care herself first especially when she had a miscarriage earlier as putting herself at risk. rather than obsess over gudiya, just care about cheeku. but she is super woman. 🤷

She didn't have a MC na! It was all fake reports by Jyoti. She was always pregnant. Jyoti wanted her to miscarry but Imlie didn't take those pills

This is going to be a major point of contention- in the way they love

Today aryan repeatedly told her not to run and have faith in him that he would for sure save gudiya but she still ran forgetting everything and again not prioritizing herself or their unborn child which will ofcourse lead to conflict coz since the start that's what Aryan has repeatedly told her to learn to prioritize in life

Alas I hope she learns now with time
