Anupamaa: Anu ignores Rahi’s warning about Rajini only to soon realise her true face

In tonight's Anupamaa episode, Prem receives a call from Rahi, who is clearly frustrated about him not returning on time. She questions him about the function and expresses her disappointment that he neither picked up her calls nor came back when expected. Prem tries to pacify her, assuring her he's already on his way home. Seeing Rahi's growing worry, Anupama steps in and gently asks her to calm down, reminding her that Prem has finally returned.

Prem Questions Varun’s Career Choice; A Tragic Accident Follows

While driving together, Prem casually asks Varun what made him choose to settle in India despite pursuing his studies in the United States. Varun reveals that moving abroad was never his choice; his real dream has always been to enter politics. Prem appreciates the fact that Varun is so clear about his ambitions.

Curious, Varun turns the question around and asks Prem about his own career plans. Before Prem can respond, Varun suddenly accelerates the car. Concerned, Prem repeatedly requests him to reduce the speed, but Varun loses control and ends up hitting a couple on a bike.

Shocked, Prem urges him to stop immediately. Varun refuses, saying that if he halts the car, the entire incident will be labelled a hit-and-run, which will destroy his political aspirations. Horrified by Varun's attitude, Prem forcefully stops the vehicle and reprimands him, saying that before trying to become a politician, he should learn how to be a decent human being. He rushes toward the injured couple to help them.

A crowd quickly gathers and demands to know who was behind the wheel. Without hesitation, Varun shifts all the blame onto Prem. Stunned by the false accusation, Prem questions Varun's betrayal, but the crowd does not give him a chance to explain. Believing Varun's statement, the mob attacks Prem for reckless driving, despite his insistence that he was not the one driving.

Rahi and Anupama Learn About Prem’s Arrest

Meanwhile, Rahi begins to sense something is wrong when she cannot reach Prem again. Anupama reassures her once more and tells her not to argue with Prem later, instead encouraging her to concentrate on her studies.

Rahi defends herself, saying she never fights with him and appreciates the way he always manages her temper. Anupama agrees wholeheartedly, praising Prem's maturity. Moments later, Rahi receives a call from the police station. She learns that Prem has been arrested in connection with the hit-and-run incident. Both she and Anupama are left completely shocked.

Vasundhara and Parag’s Past with Rajini Resurfaces

Elsewhere, Vasundhara confronts Parag and demands to know if Rajini is the same woman from their past. She expresses worry over Rajini's sudden wealth and influence. Parag tells her that stepping back now is impossible because he has invested everything into this project.

Vasundhara insists that Parag must keep the truth hidden from Gautam and warns him against trusting Rajini. Parag reveals that he betrayed Rajini for Vasundhara's sake, only for Vasundhara to claim that Rajini never fit into their social status. Parag responds by saying that love ignores status, adding that earlier Rajini was not at their level, but now they are nowhere close to hers.

Rajini Exposes Varun’s Lie at the Police Station

At the police station, Anupama and Rahi rush in to defend Prem. Prem informs Anupama that Varun caused the accident, and Anupama immediately recognises him. Rajini soon arrives and confronts Varun, demanding honesty. Even then, Varun continues to pin the blame on Prem, prompting Rajini to slap him in anger. Realising he can no longer hide the truth, Varun admits that he lied to protect himself.

Meanwhile, in the Shah household, Paritosh is openly pleased about the alimony he is set to receive after Pari and Raja's divorce. Kinjal questions his insensitivity and asks if he has completely lost his mind. The rest of the Shah family also disapproves of his behaviour. Paritosh decides he will go to Mumbai to meet his daughter, but Leela stops him, insisting that Anupama is handling the situation in the way she feels is best.

Varun Pleads for Help; Rajini Demands Accountability

Back at the police station, Varun pleads with Rajini to help him escape the consequences. Rajini firmly tells him that being a politician's son does not give him the right to commit a crime. Varun continues begging, but Rajini instructs the inspector to register the case against him. The inspector, however, hesitates due to Rajini's powerful political standing. Later, the injured couple surprisingly withdraws their complaint. Anupama tells Varun that if he wants to grow in life, he should try to learn good values from Rajini rather than misusing his privilege.

Gautam, on the other hand, begins observing Parag closely and senses that something about him has changed. He also picks up on Khayti's discomfort and grows suspicious that Parag and Rajini may share a history they are hiding. Despite Parag asking him to stay focused on his project duties, Gautam resolves to dig deeper and uncover the truth.

Rahi Raises Doubts About Rajini; Anupama Stands Firm

At home, Prarthana approaches Leela with a request to attend her baby shower ceremony. Leela initially refuses, but Prarthana's emotional appeal eventually convinces her. Later, Rahi expresses her doubts about Rajini to Anupama, saying she feels Rajini is not as she appears. Anupama refuses to believe anything negative about her and praises Rajini for her values and principles. She urges Rahi not to jump to conclusions or misjudge her.

Precap for the Next Episode

In the precap, Varun seeks forgiveness from Anupama, and she decides to let go of her anger, for Rajini's sake. She tells Rajini that Varun should apologise not only to her but to everyone who deserves it. Rajini then requests Anupama to let Varun stay in the chawl until he learns basic values. She further tells Varun that once the chawl redevelopment project is complete, they will earn substantial profit. At that moment, both Rajini and Varun are stunned to notice Anupama overhearing their conversation.
