Why do we feel that imlie doesn't love Aryan - Page 2

If we just look at today's episode leaving everything else. Aryan has this somber look on his face. He says it again and again that he can't lose or leave Imlie, he can't let anything come in between them. Whereas Imlie's first and dare I say only thought was Gudiya.

Yes Aryan is Imlie's Dhruv Tara but he has never been her first thought. She thinks about others first whereas Aryan's only thought is about Imlie.

This difference in their love is so glaring that we as audience want that Aryan must get his share of love which sadly Imlie is not giving right now but sadly looking at the state of affairs will never give him as now her attention would be taken by the kids

Exactly. I know that most of us want to see Imlie's side of love and longing post leap but with cheeku/guddiya /cheeni etc, i don't think we are going to see it.

Even the promos voice over was about how will imlie protect this child. I don't think we are going to see passionate love story as such esp not from Imlie's side

for the audience who appreciate Aryan , it is bothersome, that he is the one with surplus love to give in this relationship..

Right. And this feels unfair. We know she is capable of doing and loving more. We saw that in her previous marriage

But here she unconsciously won't do it. And that makes our heart hurt for aryan

yes, she runs around like crazy when he gets hurt but as blue aunty pointed out, he gets hurt because of imlie. all of these things happen because imlie lives like a single woman and refuses to inform anyone what she is up to. blue aunty says a lot of snarky things but many of them seem on point. that is a problem when you as the audience are agreeing with a villain's perspective that imlie is not in love with aryan the way he is.

we don't see aryan having a life of his own and making decisions for himself. instead, he is there to tag along and support her. where is she supporting him in what he does? when has she allowed him to make a decision and stuck by it?

she won't even tell him when she is stepping out. that is basic common courtesy when you live together in a house even if you are just roommates. instead, she continously lies to the family about her activities. basically she acts like a single woman who is stuck with a meddlesome family and has to lie to go have fun with her friends; why do you have to lie about where you go? that looks rather dysfunctional. 🤷

I actually did a while rant yesterday about how imlie seems to be an emotional manipulator and that there was always scope for her to return to PD as single mom.

I said this in another post but aryan is more like her boyfriend/friends with benefits. the 50-50 partnership is total BS; does she give in to any of his calls? nothing. whereas he has to continously support her, hug her when she cries and go along with whatever nonsense she thinks of next. it is very uneven relationship where imlie has all the decision making power. she just has to cry or say 50-50 and he caves.

if a man was making all the calls and a woman's voice was being ignored and rejected, woudn't we say she loves him more and is putting up with it? that is how I see it -- is a role reversal where aryan is the quiet bechari who has to go along with whatever his spouse decides whether he likes it or not. why does he do it? because he loves her more than she loves him. that is what keeps coming across -- so much so that I am all in for the separation. I want better for aryan. 🤷

and yes, if she has the child, she will occasionally think of aryan but no, she won't be shattered at all.

Purandas track: she also wanted to prove her babusaheb innocent and no one can deny that

Arpi track: more than aryan or Arpita she was obsessed with pushing sundar into the family

The JO track: for dost madhav and for cheeku rights. At no point she felt her marriage or her relationship with aryan was in danger bec he does not let her feel that way.

I just want one track where she defies all odds for just him and only him. And not saving his life track bec let's face it, she will risk everything to save the life of an alley cat. Something which she wouldn't do for anyone else.

So i can root for this couple and not just root for aryan to be happy.
