@bold: There are so many shades to that short bit na....there is a specific way in which Adi cries when he is TRULY vulnerable....woh ekdum phoot phoot ke rona....we saw it for the first time in the gunshot track/ambulance scene and later him breaking down in the hospital in his worry over Imlie. Reason chaahe jo bhi ho, it is usually Imlie who is either the cause of that vulnerability in him or she's the only who witnesses that level of vulnerability in him....it's rare for him to manage to show that side to anyone else. Word!! She has been the reason so far it always comes when he fears losing a dear one and not being able to do anything imlie being the one for most part with nish being thrown in now😆 though for me the reason is still more to show that imlie is the data to his datd his anchor and neev...it shows so beautifully how a man usually such in control of himself having such a grip crumbles when he feels helpless.. imlie just engulfs all his pain away she is like the magnet which takes it all away ..
In this scene, Adi first breaks down the moment she touches his arm and then he pulls her into that hug to cry so heartbreakingly on her shoulder like a little kid....then he tries to gather himself a bit as he pulls back and Imlie wipes his tears....but then he unravels again even as he's trying to stop his own tears....the way he starts crying even while trying to wipe his tears....aww.....you can sense his struggle with wanting to sambhaalo his emotions but losing the battle as he gives in to that sense of hopelessness with the tears spilling out. Wohi toh the more you see the more you fall in love adi trying to get a hold of his emotions but failing and kinda bring self mused too ke nahi control ho raha baat baar wiping his tears crying his heart out again then calming and crying awww🤗 I just loved the silence with her just slowly walking and the touch and that was all he needed to totally let loose and he instantly grabbed her caz he needed her and she was there standing right beside him when he needed her aware of his struggles . I bet had she not been there overhearing too they wouldn't have needed words as I said before it was a shared moment of agony of pain..
But then came the most touching part of the scene....the way Imlie itne pyar se so softly said, "Kono baat nahin"....awww......sometimes that's all you need....someone telling you with a smile ki it's going to be alright.....something about the way she said it with that simple/sweet maasoomiyat was just so touching....ST did it wonderfully👏. Yes it is such an amazing quality that they don't touch upon these vulnerable moments as a show ke haan maine sambhal lia ya specific dialogues about jataooing how the other is being weak or needs himnat they just come with their own ways of showing showing are there yet don't jatao and make other feel weird ya uncomfortable she saw that but camd up with a simple we will manage it is ok...that whole vibe tbat they share ke it is totally OK to put your emotional side out to deal with your emotions like that .. the whole let it be vibe they go with when they are there is worth watching ke hum hain sambhal lenge but Don't suppresses let it all out .. her smile was so aww and yes her line about Jang pyar or bewakoofi main sab jaayaz hai
It is worth noting and it is such a small moment in between but when he pulls back if you see closely it is almost like he has a moments realization ke he is dumping it on her and she is getting upset too toh woh dusre ke liye khud ko sambhalana bit comes through so he tries to hold his emotion quickly and backs off ke am OK but phir breaks down almost instantly awww
This scene was a window again into the fact that the Adi who is otherwise relentlessly cranky, picking on her for so many things😆, daant lagaaoing her all the time.....that guy still turns to her as his anchor in his weakest moments .....expecting this chhoti si ladki to sambhaalo him😆. And it was awesome to see he didn't let go of his cranking and objections throughout he had faith in her but yeh was hard for him to toll with she he kept putting his apprehensions out ke kabhi beard chuch rahi hai kabhi this is bewakoofi at one point jaath jod liye ke ke trusts her but kcub aur bata de😆 hahah and in mid of seeking help he was like yeh pagalpanti jo tum karti ho 🤣 calling our her bewakoofiyan her serial watching habits and pata nahi kya kya irrelevant things coming out in it such a typical hubby wifey thing jahan pati bhi full record rakhta hai and brings kahan ki baat kahaan to link it and take his frustration out adorable muchkins
There is a reason I call him pahaad jaisa aadmi😆.....ek toh he looks like a pahaad, yes😆.....and secondly, his basic nature is like that of a chattaan....implacable. He is usually assertive and that is the side we see to him most of the time with everyone....including Imlie. So when we see moments like these where he acknowledges that he doesn't know what to do.....and turns to her with blind faith...ki tum bataao ab kya karna hai.....it feels truly SEISMIC😆.....Pahaad ko hilaane waali earthquake hai humari Imaliya😆. +100 i have nothing to add you said it so beautifully
Sure, later on he still fought her suggestion tooth and nail (he wouldn't be Adi if he didn't :P) but the point is made that a man who is otherwise so implacable submits himself into Imlie's care like he's never done with anyone else :) So much of the story is pitched as Adi's fight to give Imlie her rightful haqs.....we sometimes forget how much of the story is also about how Imlie alone can truly sahejo this pahaad jaisa aadmi 😆.
