Anyways, this new brother seems like the writers basically going back to showing Tripathi family backstory in more detail again.....jaise Rupi ka angle bhi thoda pause pe hi hai since Adi's shaadi.....toh now they will start opening up Tripathi family tracks again and time will tell usmein kitna Adi-Imlie progression milega.

Good i say we do need thoda parallel tracks to support the story .. eventually toh imelie the star will be the problem solver and solving their issues let's see how this plays out... I am leat worried about "endgames" or new entries as of now

Yep, for those of us who don't watch this show only to know who will be paired up with whom, we can view each new character on it's standing rather than constantly being obsessed with pairings😆.

Actually, it's worth replaying that scene from Imlie's perspective....matlab socho zaraa....this girl has become accustomed for so long to only being blamed by Adi for every situation and she has no expectation of him even agreeing with her ever, let alone him defending her like this against his Malini and his MIL😆......toh agar Imlie ke POV se socho, uski bhi duniya hil gayi seeing all this.

Adi has come to her defense a few times before but that has always been more in physical danger situations like him saving her from that guy in the NGO or when she was kidnapped or when she got shot.....toh I think woh sab "general" category mein daal diya Imlie ne ki he'd do that for any person in trouble......lol but this time, he did it explicitly for HER.....Imlie ka naam lekar woh pura rant kiya Adi ne.

I think she will feel that she has become such a burden on him that she's distracting him from fulfilling his responsibilities towards Malini😆.....Adi ko bol degi ki main aapke liye bojh hoon....lol let's see what he says then.

Wohi toh babusahib kinda gave a VIP status with this rant.. isse pehle the only other person who has spoken this fiercely about her has been dada only

She totally didn't expected it that adi will put her above malini and that too like that itna fiercely but the thing is all this happened too fast for the poor girl to actually be happy about it or process much before she could even think ke hua kya she was blamed for coming in between when that isn't the case so rather ke yeh iss baat se koi hint le she was kinda thrown to the side like dhoodh se makkhi nikaal di.. I felt so bad for her...she needed adi the most after the whole thing caz he is the only one over here who she has woh saath wala bond bhi jiske koi baat isko soothe kar sakti to her.. the choti si shock wali smile she had when he came and the way she stood seeing him

And in this case, I still keep wondering if this anger is coming from years of bottled up emotions that he didn't process with Malini or it's coming from a deep internal guilt and helplessness about not being able to give Imlie her due rights and respect. Adi ka problem is that he is scared to poke the image he has built of Malini inside his mind despite all these suspicions he's clearly had for years wondering if she has any of her mom's elitism in her....and Malini ka problem hai yeh hai that she is happy inside her head and isn't really interested in knowing what Adi is thinking in general😆. This is why they keep going around in circles......Adi bursts out a bit but then they both put it aside as just something he said in anger and move on.....lol

As you said it is caz if both.. his general frustration with AC aside jo iss scenario main sar nikaal li and his rant became a lot about him too as he treated as his problem along with imlie's... ☺️ but mostly it comes from.the helplessness and feeling like he failed in protecting inlie. That is when he mostly loses it when he feels he hasn't lived upto his promise of protecting her... he goes extraaa sensitive mode everytime this happens and then lashes out at imlie herself ke tum galtiyan karti rehti ho.. iss time he couldn't caz uski toh koi galti thi nahi.. yahan malini put her at stake hence woh uspe.ulta.. he feels like the adult she needs caz somewhere the promise to meethi.is on back of his head.. ot in this scenario but thoda din pehle woh FB was in one scene ne ke aapko apni sabse pyari cheez di.. it is a amalgamation of a lot of different things😆 hard to point out just one... but in short it is out of the haq and deep bond he shares

it’s not about who is with who... it’s is about butchering the character and the story that was promised till date. They have shown Imlie as a person who is following her marriage even though her husband has rejected or has remarried. Her, these values have been pushed down our throats time and again. Do you really think it will make sense to show this character having a love interest with her devar or jet? Once Imlie knows about that relationship, he will go into a box labeled “brother” because according to her upbringing devar/babhi relationship should be most Pavithra one.

If they make him her love interest, then they would first have to do imlie’s character “parivartan”

Don’t forget she is a girl who is seen her mother waiting for a man for 18 years not looking at another man even though there was Satyakam. Same applies to Imlie at least at this point.

Baat ye hai is show mein hints hue hai ki both sisters will end up as bahus of this house. Isliye maine aisa socha. Otherwise you are right, her sindoor is too valuable for her, more than her self respect.

@bold: THIS. I also think this is like a lingering trauma of his from having failed to protect her when she got shot.....he did take that very hard. Yes, he managed to save her ultimately, she thanked him for saving her life.....but he's internalized that guilt of not being able to protect Imlie. And that guilt is now coming out like a dam bursting.....now at the slightest hint of Imlie being put through some pain, he's lashing out at anyone he finds guilty of giving pain to Imlie....and in this case, he laid the blame on both AC (for humiliating Imlie) and Malini (for ALLOWING this to happen).

Adi ka issue yehi hai ki he isn't able to give Imlie the standing she deserves as his wife toh he tries to make up for it by giving her general protection....lekin when things like this happen jahaan woh basic protection bhi nahin ho paati Imlie ki, he lashes out like a wounded animal....as if chot Imlie ko lagi, but ghaav isko andar feel ho raha hai.

@bold: And I think it's cuz of bits like this that the story gets that extra sense of layering na.....in that whole room, only one person was actually full aware of what Imlie has faced over being taunted about her father....and that person was Adi. Uski aakhon mein us waqt woh dard tha as if he's feeling Imlie's pain over everything acutely.....but then the situation all moved super quickly as usual to getting flipped to Mun ka hurt.

Imlie ke liye zyada bura isliye bhi lagta hai cuz ek toh waise hi use uske hisse, uske haq ka kuch barely milta hai, then on top of that, these few moments where she gets someone giving her her rightful due/respect, that also gets overtaken by some Malini related issue within minutes😆.

+100 and yeh toh tabhi hota hai jab koi aapka bohat bohat zyada apna ho jaaye.. he never ever behaves this restless or this possessive towards malini nahh but yeh bhi alag hai ke she never has gone through this kind of cycle where she is endangered but even at that one instance I can't help but compare he was keeping his calm for the most part but with imlie it's like isi ko kaha gaya hai

When Mun fell sick, Adi was worried, stressed....but Imlie ko kuch bhi hota hai toh Adi literally goes to SOS level type emergency mode😆....it's a whole another level of extreme....Simply put, Imlie ke case mein Adi apne aape se baahar ho jaata hai.....he has no control over his emotions, period....right now, it's mainly the emotions of anger and worry that pour out of him without control....but overall he just totally loses his head when it comes to Imlie.

@bold: Oh LOL such a good catch! 😆....Maine pehle itna socha nahin but you're very right on this....he has a genuine basic curiosity to always know what's going on with Imlie....woh kya soch rahi hai, kya kar rahi hai, kya chahti hai. With Malini, well....there is also his (wrong) assumption that she already knows everything about him and there is nothing to ask/find out about😆....I mean jitna marzi understanding ho aapas mein, but such a fundamental lack of interest in trying to find out what's going on in your partner's mind😆.....this is why they are such a mess....tch tch.
