Gina means Jainism?

Back to discussion. I

Vegetarian or non vegetarian is their own preference. If anyone wants they can say vegetarians are not any "better" than those who eat non veg.

All that is not discussed here.

Even Hindu scriptures quoting that eating non veg is accepted. that may be.

But Hinduism also talks about and professes vegetariansim to those who want to be.

And Amma is a vegetarian by choice religion birth whatever.

And Sagu's family know what Amma feels regarding this.

That is why I wanted to know why they showed the "cooked" fish scene like some kind of comedy when in reality it could have been avoided by Sag's household.

That is if they really wanted to respect Amma's sentiments.

Rest of the discussion of the threaed veg/nonveg etarians , religion saying about meat eating. vegetarians being haughty are far from the topic here.

My dear Pyaaribehna ...The meaning of the name Gina is Queen !The origin of the name Gina is Italian !
Gina's Italian meaning is"Great". They're normally cute, beautiful, pretty, hott & everything else !!!
A person deriving from the Latin meaning 'Great'. This name often crops up in love poems as being the centre of love and is known for its soft sound when spoken !
A truly beautiful name! No not related to any religion !An embodiment of all religions ...that is LOVE !
Gina is the love that revolves around my once aching heart...[ Song ]
Gina is a universal name from all continents representing one who is absolutely gorgeous (but doesn't seem to know it), is extremely charitable (but doesn't necessarily admit it), would do anything for a family member or a friend, loves to travel and go camping, but underneath that nature enthusiast also lies the heart of one who loves to be pampered as a passionate person ! They generally go with the flow and can be equally hyper or shy depending on the situation at hand !She can be fiercely protective of loved ones and due to this, she shies away from mentioning them until you really get to know her ! Based on numerology, Gina's make great actors or singers, while a small few with this name favor writing ! Their eyes are often very deep, showing their emotions without meaning to, so pay attention to that feature if you really want to know what a Gina is thinking...
An extremely attractive woman who knows exactly what she wants and always gets her way !!

CVs are actually hurting the sentiments of non-vegetarian Bengalis by showing them as comical caricatures like Pintu who have no sensitivity or consideration for their vegetarian samdhis!
This is a totally false depiction and is totally unacceptable!

I don't know about CVs but we all are making it a big issue.

Pinto is a professor in the show, he is highly qualified, intelligent etc. But such people do not have worldly smartness, they are good at their subject but not street smart.😆

Pallavi and paljay ,agree with both of you . For creating a proper situation to make the two parties have solid evidences to widen their relations , so that they will separate forever .no reconciliation point . Then Bunty will show his love towards Sagarika ,and he will go to her house .
Agree with the point that ,intellectuals of that calibre doesn't pay much attention towards small things ,

. Great words Seetha . It shows your knowledge in this aspect . But undoubtedly ,the cvs created a. big emotional issue over this sensitive topic . What pyaribehna said is correct ,they did a mistake by creating misunderstandings between vegans and non -vegans .

Sorry to say this show is going nowhere each day some weird plot they r broadcasting which is very annoying. , whoever is script writer or story writer tiny request for them before u write something or show kindly observe or read abt that religion or culture or rules and regulation properly. And these days its more ez,,, go to Google instead of ur make weird things by yourself and show to the national tv.
Its not for bangalee or Punjabi or Marathi or Amish etc I am talking abt for every caste.hope cvs will wake up from their rip van winkle sleep in the cave.

Pintu may not be worldly wise but Pishima is...his sister takes care of his household and shes the one who arranged for the food. She would know the customs and respect the wishes of the groom's family.

Usually it is the lady of the house who takes care of these things, like food, veg or non-veg, customs, traditions.
