So is there a quote by him that you can cite here that explicitly says that Gita was written by Lord in Sanskrit?

@TM what ever you say is justified and what ever all the friends tried to share their views is also justified. Now let us move forward since according to you our poor Ammaji also moving forward with the story.

This show will not stop because you and some of us agree to disagree or disagree to agree. Let us open another topic and discuss other issue.

I think you are closely following this show so you might also know how the great Ammaji projected herself in yesterday episode, why you got stuck in this thread only. Make another thread with another issue.

PS: I know you are perfect at advocacy.

@TM... we get that you are hurt by what was shown in the show and you disagree with what Vibraj has to say.

Let's just say that none of us (perhaps with the exception of you and a couple of others, since I do not know you all) are great scholars or have very high knowledge levels on all topics.

That does not mean we persecute each other for "one" statement.

Read it, disagree with it, and move on. There is no point in repeatedly harping back on the same topic, is there?

In case there is a point to this debate, I am no one to stop you... 😊

VerboseG are you talking to me? If you are then let me explain.

The statement about Sri Aurobindo that set me thinking. If I am off topic then even that whole reply was off topic.

Anyways the amount of matter given by Seethaji was really a lot and matched wikipedia matter so much.

Just wanted to know whether this person knew any explicit statement since so much matter was given by this person . That was all.

Move on everybody does. Ammaji is irritating. Does anyone think Sagu and Buntea get divorced and move on because there really is no hope for this type of marrige.

Pyaribehna ...you expressed your astonishment over whether Lord Krishna wrote Geeta himself !

That's why I quoted Sri Aurobindo's Evolution theory !

In his evolution theory Sri Aurobindo conceives that the Supramental existence in the form of consciousness ...that is God !

In his opinion :

Superconscient ---means consciousness greater than the highest , Our Gods belong to this category as supra human beings ,Krishna belongs to this category , Lord Rama too ,historical and archaeological evidences are there for their presence as human beings ...including the place Dwaraka ,which is under the sea [yes ..seen in National Geographic ]no ..never went down ,reason is my inability to swim ...fear of drowning !Again a dependent on visual media ..TV!

Subconscient --consciousness is at its lower mental limit ,God men , preachers and gurus like Adi Shankaracharya , Sai Baba and others !They reached the middle level of consciousness !

Inconscient ... is itself in a dormant stage of consciousness ...in the process of evolution . Normal human beings belong to this category ! Though all are relative terms in ordinary criteria of knowledge , there is a great difference in referring the context of Suprahuman beings !Krishna ,according to Sri Aurobindo Philosophy ,is a suprahuman and did all the deeds a human has to do , but as a preacher ,as a guru ,shown the right path to mankind !

No ...this information is not from Wikipedia ,I am giving you from -The Life Divine ,The Indian Metaphysical Thought ,a book written by Sri Aurobindo Ghosh . 1100 pages .

Yes ..I acquired my very little knowledge either from lectures in universities , Books ,Dictionaries ,or from electronic media ,means Wikipedia or Google search !

Never tried to learn by myself ...looking up to the sky and suddenly shouting 'Eureka 'and running on the streets is not possible to me ,all my speck of knowledge was learned from other sources ... unfortunately not original ...can't shout ..not of that type !😕

As far as I know ...man and machine are interdependent ...learning from computer is not that bad !

You directly addressed me ..so it is my prerogative to answer your questions and doubts .

Wikipedia is nothing but internet encyclopedia ,a compilation of information ,based on many research papers, ,and though you heckled me ,my contribution is also there in the form of research papers in this research oriented compilation on few subjects . No further discussion on this topic Pyaribehna ! This is out of context,...we are interacting since long !

I believe you when you say so . Even I don't like to discuss the matter any further.

But just a few words. when one says they quote something or according to someone then there should be a mention somewhere . That is what I asked.

Lord Krishna is a super human being that I know from Sri Aurobindo's books and I do not expect anyone to go underwater to see Dwaraka. Even if a person swims underwater they cannot explore Dwaraka without proper equipment.

Of course one acquires knowledge from books , lectures and internet. and that too every one takes their word for it when they exibit their knowledge .

Why should anyone shout "Eureka" and run down the street ? did you discover something new?

If one reads and understands Life Divine then it is well and good. Congrats to you on your knowledge.

Well. with knowledge one should also learn to be calm and not get agitated if someone asks something.
'
The question would not have come up if there was no mention of quotes by these great people.

That is what I think too. But my thread is about Ammaji even though the most irritating character on the planet has a preference being vegetarian.

And her son's inlaws know and understand this. then why did they hurt her sentiments?

if this hurt non vegetarian's sentiments say it in another thread.

Amma is hurting Sagarika's sentiments and feelings and pride every single day, every single hour!
I would say she deserved it! 😃

Amma sure does hurt Sagu .

But whether she "deserves" this is not for anyone not for us to say.

For what Ammaji does to Sagu Ammaji is not alone responsible. Like I said this is going to be another thread. probably one is going on right now elsewhere regarding this.

Ammaji's behavior towards Sagu is wrong. Buntea bhaiyaa should deal with Ammaji. What is the meaning of the title (Hum hain na) I do not know. Buntea bhaiyya went behind Sagu trying to impress her wanted to marry her etc . Either he did not know or he did not expect his mom to be like this. But now that she is like this Buntea bhaiyya should take responsibility and correct the situation.

As for bringing fish to hurt Ammaji's sentiments all I can say is even if you catch a thief red handed you cannot punish him on your own. You cannot even hit a thief saying he "deserves" to be hit. Law is the one which punishes people who do wrong things.

So saying Ammaji deserves to be shown "cooked" fish is not right. Considering Ammaji took the step to bring Sagu as bahu because Buntea wanted Sagu as wife it is not even right to say that Ammaji deserves to see "cooked fish"

Ammaji is the same way towards Rani. She changed Ran's name too. and did not send Rani to honeymoon too.

She is vegetarian and she is not a hypocrite. I don't think she had eaten in non vegetarian's house before this. Her beliefs are her beliefs. Her behaviour towards Sagu is different.

One cannot take it into their hands to say "this is "punishment" for "that"" we are not to decide that.

My thread is only about cvs showing such scenes thinking it is some kind of joke when it actually is not.

Same goes for this " Amma deserves that" stuff.

Amma's behavior would have been the same whether it was Satya, rani or Sagu. same rules.

They live in that kind of set up. Why blame them.? Blame Buntea and his "Hum hain na".

Buntea Bhaiyya why are you even there? You are helpless. and you are just watching everything and doing nothing.

Like I said this could be another thread.
