To the people who like Harry-hermy as a p - Page 3

I just do...I love Harry-Hermy together...maybe because I like Dan-Emma chemistry and cannot STAND Rupert!! ....Ron the character is ok..I like the CHARACTERS Ron and Hermy (they're ok) I dont know why but I dont like Rupert that much! and I really wish that Harry-Hermy were together!

really great points..Hermione is extrely nagging, but that the reason why so many people love her!..her up-tight, miss know-it-all behavior it really great..& her personality change in HBP was soo not expected...but wth!..it created TONS of RH moments..so its worth it!

Well if it makes you feel better, IMO, Ron's way to good for Hermione. Way too good.

HeHe, well I guess Ron sorta did redeem himself a lil in the 7th book, can't say the same for Ginny though.
The reason I said that was because I just didn't like the way he poked fun at others such as Neville. And especially Luna, just because she wasn't as popular and was considered a misfit, he decided to follow the norm and name call her and ridicule her, also the way he was against Harry taking her to Slughorn's Party. I just felt he had a lot of growing up to do and improved in the second half of Deathly hallows.

Unfortunately, for me Ron/Hermione did happen while luckily Harry/Hermione didn't. I absolutely loathe Hermione [with her pettiness, her tirvial concern over grades, lack of belief in friends (insulting Ron and Ginny in HBP was just so uncalled for and it doesn't matter if she had even saved their lives many which she has never really done .. atleast not Ginny's), her extreme hypocrisy, her obnoxiousness, her extreme narrow mindness, her constant nagging, her insufferable know it all attitude, her passive aggressiveness, her using guys to make Ron jealous, how sahe's always described as being wapish/nasty/snappy .. she seems so witchy man, then her acts of jealousy towards Fleur cause she's prettier than her and her using birds on Ron her forcing her beliefs onto others, her condescending attitude towards others, her unpleasantness and her actions like leading people to death and scarring them for life] so I am glad at least that Harry, who had no love in his childhood was not stuck with her. I guess I think if there's any evil minded female in HP, it would be Hermione but sadly, she never gets criticized for anything ever even if others get criticised for it.... ex. stranger@mirror said Ginny went through a lot of boys that they didn't like .... Hermione also went through the same number of boys and they weren't even long time boyfriends like Ginny's so I am confused as to why they don't dislike that in Hermione as well. Not that I think either of them actually had a lot of boys, they don't and I am amazed anyone thinks those are too many boys. There are so many similarities between her and Umbridge ... Hermione's just lucky she's got friends. People hate Cho and Ginny for standing up to her but I love them for it ... it's sad how only two girls actually have enough confidence and esteem to do that. She's the author's darling I get it, but it's ridiculous how she gets away with so much and no one says anything, even if she almost kills a person. Poor Ron though .. my fave male character stuck with the most unpleasant fictional character I have ever read ... she just seems so unpleasant 😒. I don't like Harry/Luna at all and honestly do not see any basis for, especially because of the fact that they had just 1 conversation about death and no chemistry whatsoever but I did think there was some basis for Ron/Luna atleast post OoTP. Though the way Luna is so ridiculously 1 dimensional and flat at the end of the series, I am glad that Ron atleast got a well-rounded character.

I appreciate it is your point of view but there are some points which I'd like to raise, when did Hermione lead people to death and scar them for life? I'm just asking here because although I've read the books I can't seem to recall that happening, in fact isn't it due to her that most of the characters survived at one point during the series owing to her knowledge?
Also despite her being clever than most in the series she herself proclaims that there's more to life than books and encourages Harry saying he's better than her, so although a know it all it shows she doesn't look down on people who aren't as intelligent as her. She even helped Neville numerous of times.

And although I don't condone her using Cormac to make Ron jealous, isn't Ron worse in that matter as he actually engaged in a relationship with Lavender merely because of his insecurities of her previous relationship with Krum? And she did have some right to feel annoyed at him as there was a build up to their relationship when she asked him out to Slughorn's party.
As for her being jealous of Fleur, it may be perceived in different ways but to me it more annoyance at her as Fleur seemed to be indifferent to the hospitality and looked down on things at Hogwarts and of the way she got better treatment because of her looks. Infact it was Ginny who referred to Fleur as 'dirt' was it not?

stranger@mirror, so that means your not a HH fan, but a Ginny hater..you like them together so that way HG won't be..soo for all its worth..you wouldn't mind Harry with Cho..or do you actually ship HH?

I guess I long moved on from Harry-Hermione but the reason I think Harry-Luna would make a good pair isn't solely due to them confiding in one another after Sirius' death. It's more to do with the fact that he accepted her as a friend and didn't conform to the view of the majority. And I guess I like the way they both relate to one another.

LOL,actually Ron, Hermione, Ginny all three of them are jealous one or other time in the books. And I have no problem with jealousy, its a natural emotion that is felt at the start of any relationship when trust is not yet fully established and I dont consider it petty. The only problem I had with Ginny was when she told Ron that Hermione had snogged Krum...I mean was it necessary to tell him dat? and he should get some snogging experience since he only kisses aunt muriel's photographalso she cristised Hermy about quidditch...those where pretty mean things to say about my fav characters Ron and hermy...so I guess that is why I dont like her that much😆😆but otherwise she's good...great quidditch player and all😆😆😆
