I have said this a million times before😳 but if u want i can surely repeat...she behaved extremely bad with Hermy in the 6th book, and even taunted Hermy and insulted her saying she doesnt know anything about Quidditch...even though it was Hermy who saved her life many times.

I agree...chemistry between daniel-emma is better than rupert-emma....but in the BOOKS Ron and hermione are perfect for each other...and anyway i like the books much much more than the movies😃and daniel is good for portraying harry but i think emma and rupert dont look that much like the ron-hermy in my imagination😆😆😆

I dont think anybody now like harry and hermione after reading hp and the deathly hollows!! and also the amazing JK Rowling wrote the last book in a way that made you agree with the pairs.. im also glad that it was harry and ginny not harry and hermione because i think that ron and herminoe make a good pair!

Plus it's come straight from the horse's mouth(JK Rowling) that it would never happen when she gave the reasons as to why they wouldn't gel as a couple(to my slight disappointment). Although their bonding as friends in the 7th book in Godric's Hallow, I loved.
I then had hopes for Harry-Luna, they're both quite unconventional and I loved the fact how he identifies with her despite her being considered a misfit. I thought the way he found solace in confiding with her after Sirius' death was quite touching. But even that had to get ruined with his sudden(I thought) pairing with Ginny, which despite after them having 3 kids I still can't manage to digest or like even an iota of. Even Hermoine I consider too good for Ron.
But I guess it's compensation that Harry-Hermoine have more scenes in the books, even Harry-Luna for that matter.
As for the abyssmal films which come no where close to the books, I guess even they don't generate any chemistry between the characters like the books do, partly due to the lacklustre performances of the actors.

The few people who I have talked to who like Harry/Hermione seem to like it because they think that their friendship is good basis for a long lasting love, which I could see ... if only their personalities could gel. The way Hermione reacted around Harry in OoTP convinced me that they just wouldn't work as a couple ... she'd be too scared to set him off when he was mad and so on. So therefore, I have never ever shipped Harry/Hermione myself. I never saw any signs while I saw the lead up to Ron/Hermione and Harry/Ginny.

Unfortunately, for me Ron/Hermione did happen while luckily Harry/Hermione didn't. I absolutely loathe Hermione [with her pettiness, her tirvial concern over grades, lack of belief in friends (insulting Ron and Ginny in HBP was just so uncalled for and it doesn't matter if she had even saved their lives many which she has never really done .. atleast not Ginny's), her extreme hypocrisy, her obnoxiousness, her extreme narrow mindness, her constant nagging, her insufferable know it all attitude, her passive aggressiveness, her using guys to make Ron jealous, how sahe's always described as being wapish/nasty/snappy .. she seems so witchy man, then her acts of jealousy towards Fleur cause she's prettier than her and her using birds on Ron her forcing her beliefs onto others, her condescending attitude towards others, her unpleasantness and her actions like leading people to death and scarring them for life] so I am glad at least that Harry, who had no love in his childhood was not stuck with her. I guess I think if there's any evil minded female in HP, it would be Hermione but sadly, she never gets criticized for anything ever even if others get criticised for it.... ex. stranger@mirror said Ginny went through a lot of boys that they didn't like .... Hermione also went through the same number of boys and they weren't even long time boyfriends like Ginny's so I am confused as to why they don't dislike that in Hermione as well. Not that I think either of them actually had a lot of boys, they don't and I am amazed anyone thinks those are too many boys. There are so many similarities between her and Umbridge ... Hermione's just lucky she's got friends. People hate Cho and Ginny for standing up to her but I love them for it ... it's sad how only two girls actually have enough confidence and esteem to do that. She's the author's darling I get it, but it's ridiculous how she gets away with so much and no one says anything, even if she almost kills a person. Poor Ron though .. my fave male character stuck with the most unpleasant fictional character I have ever read ... she just seems so unpleasant 😒. I don't like Harry/Luna at all and honestly do not see any basis for, especially because of the fact that they had just 1 conversation about death and no chemistry whatsoever but I did think there was some basis for Ron/Luna atleast post OoTP. Though the way Luna is so ridiculously 1 dimensional and flat at the end of the series, I am glad that Ron atleast got a well-rounded character.

Well if it makes you feel better, IMO, Ron's way to good for Hermione. Way too good.
